Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I had been in Fayetteville, TN for a little over a week taking care of some business. I wasn't in a situation where I could cook for myself and I was really getting tired of fast food. Someone recommended I try this little Mexican buffet that was alright but nothing special. It was nice however to have finally taken a break from fast food and to have an alternative from southern food. I am not a big fan of southern food with maybe the exception of barbecue. While driving to the recommended Mexican restaurant, I passed La Fuente and noticed that it was packed with cars. I decided to give them a try later and boy, was I happy that I did. I ended up visiting this restaurant about five times during my stay and was not disappointed once. The food was authentic and delicious. For the portions and quality the prices were very reasonable. I can not recommend this place more.

Went to La Fuente tonight, with friends, to celebrate my Birthday (which is next Friday, but why not have a party a bit early ?). Food was very good, I ordered the Camarones Vallarta, my fiancee went with a Shredded chicken Chimichanga dish. We both enjoyed our meals, I thought my shrimp was very tasty, and the grilled vegetables were very fresh. My fiancee also enjoyed her TWO large, frozen peach-flavored margaritas ! Everyone else at our table enjoyed their meals. Service was excellent also, the crew came out to sing Happy Birthday to me while I was forced to don a red Sombrero. A very enjoyable night.

The atmosphere of La Fuente is really enjoyable colorful, well decorated and clean, the unique jewelry store inside is a fun touch. Our waiter was prompt and friendly best of all we arrived within the last hour of operations but were not rushed in anyway as we enjoyed our meal and conversation. I would love to give a full 5 stars but I was a bit disappointed by the food. I believe everyone else in my party of six was satisfied yet I had ordered the taco salad and it had far too much cheese. Don't get me wrong I normally love cheese but this was a usual tortilla salad shell with a little meat, little lettuce and 4 cups of queso, it was overwhelming. I would go back again for sure but would not order that dish in the future.

I want to be fair... I can't expect big city food in Fayetteville. The portions were generous, and the staff was friendly. Everything seemed really clean, and the patio is a nice touch for a cool evenings. Unfortunately the food wasn't very good. My wife and I both ordered the Enchiladas Rancheras. The cheese wasn't melted on the top of any of them, and they were all cold in the middle. Not like refrigerator cold, but not hot enough to melt any of the cheese in the center. The salsa also tasted like it was canned, but obviously there's no way of knowing for sure. I really wanted to like La Fuente, but I don't think that I'll be back.

After a long day traveling from Florida to Fayetteville we were looking for a nice sit down restaurant to eat at. I checked yelp thinking a little town like this would have some dive hidden in the shadows with great food. After finding signal up here I was disappointed to see that the food was mainly fast food and after a long road trip fast food was the last thing on my mind. After seeing the giant flashy sign out front and a busy parking lot we decided to try out the restaurant. We came in and were greeted almost immediately and sat down quickly even though the full house. The waiter quickly brought us our drinks and kept them full for the meal. The food is where this review loses the last two stars. As someone said in the tips the food taste "microwaveable". The sour cream was fantastic in my opinion but everything else was average. The restaurant overall seemed pretty good looking and had a great outdoor area. I was pretty comfortable while I was there and was well kept by our waiter. Overall this city has few restaurants and this is definitely worth it if you have been traveling for the day and surviving on car snacks and fast food.

Solid. The owner is conscientious and maintains a very clean restaurant. Pretty consistent, solid Mexican food.

Went down to visit a college girlfriend who lives here last weekend and she loves this place. Mexican restaurants can start to all look and taste alike - but what makes this place different is: 1. There's a gift shop 2. Pictures on the menu We sat on the patio - drank great Margaritas and ate WAY too much. The food came fast and hot. Great place for Fayetteville!
