Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.
Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.

Neat Diner. It is on the town square so parking will be tuff at lunch time. Not back on price and food was OK. if you are up for and adventure lunch or Dinner. then this is your place. Lots of local history on the wall.

One of the places we hit up when we're back in Fayetteville is Honey's. In fact, it's between them and only two or three other places EVERY time we're back in Fayetteville. The reason? POOLROOMS. Now, everyone "officially" calls them "slawburgers"...particularly in print...Fayetteville has even begun an Annual Slawburger Festival. But if you've been around they are, and always will be, poolrooms. Most of these places WERE poolrooms at one time. Even in the 90's and later, my aunt was embarrassed to eat there (but always did, anyway) because ladies did not hang out in pool halls. So what we have today is a long-time family restaurant. We prefer it to Bill's next door because of the camaraderie and blessed NO SMOKING atmosphere. The slaw is mustard based, a little sweet, but not cloyingly so. The salad bar is smallish and straightforward; great for a side dish, but if you're making a meal out of it, your patron saint must be Karen Carpenter. It's hard to contemplate why something as basic as a poolroom should be so attractive. It's ingrained, for one thing; my grandfather ran a hamburger joint by the NE corner of the square in the 1920's and HE sold mustard slaw on his burgers. Honey's has photos dating back to the 20's...my granduncle is in one of them and my uncle in another. I have no idea whether they ever worked here or were just customers in the picture but, either way, they ATE here. There are booths and counter service. The waitresses (you so see a couple of guys) seem to be from Lincoln County High or Motlow and are friendly even when they're busy. They are particularly attentive to my nephews, but that may be something else. If you want that small-town, homey Mayberry feel, take a little time and nab some poolrooms. I haven't tried the breakfast (though I'm sure it's good) because (a) we're never there that early and (b) we want poolrooms. That is all. They're closed on Sundays, BTW, and close EARLY on Saturdays. And appears to shut down early during "Host of Christmas Past," which just seems dumb.

Second visit here and as much as I loved my first visit, this meal was equally horrible and most likely my last here. The food i was served was not what I ordered and not one of the three young ladies who came to my table made any attempt to make it right. I left hungry. Service was terrible from beginning to end today. I won't be back

Been to Honey's a few times for lunch, I find the burgers to be very average tasting, nothing really special (although my fiancee likes them). Service is EXTREMELY fast, seems like they will plop a burger down in front of you 60 seconds or so after you order (great if you are looking for a quick lunch). But the real reason to come to Honey's is to enjoy the atmosphere -- sitting at an old style counter, looking out the front window toward the Town Green. Nice, a definite throwback restaurant that is worth dropping into.

Yesterday was my second trip to Honey's; we come to Fayetteville every year for a family reunion and we had to have lunch again here. What we have had has been excellent - Rib Eye Sandwiches for only $6, large and tasty Hamburger Steak, and several kinds of pies. The service could be a bit better, but it wasn't bad. Highly recommend.

Decided to eat at this restaraunt for lunch after seeing good things about it. Parking was extrwmly hard to find but manageable in the area. Wwalked in, in the middle of lunch hour and seemed pretty packed. It seemed like a lot of the employees took their time cooking and serving. We decided to take a seat at the bar and were greeting and served drinks within a minute of sitting down. Our order was taken very quickley and we sat and watched the kitchen make burgers and sandwiches. All of the food is made fresh in front of us. After receiving my cheeseburger I agree that the portion was small but for $2 I wasn't complaining. Overall the food was pretty good and the fries were perfect for my taste. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Everything was done for us pretty fast and the restaurant moved around and everyone was kept happy. If you are looking for a quick, cheap, and good hot lunch you will not be disappointed here.

What a totally adorable local spot! Been around since the 20s and steeped in history every which way you look! Lovely young women served us at the bar. We ate an array of fried seafood and had sodas. It was fun to watch the long time local clientele come in and order their favorite dishes. What we ate (the fish and chip plater with tots and fried shrimp with onion rings) was delicious and felt like it was probably the same as it had been decades and decades ago! Have the famous poolroom slaw!

Mmmm. Get the ribeye! Oh, and food is done one way here - country. Depending on who you are you may love it or hate it. :) Small salad bar with the basics. Burgers, chops, etc. Been in operation since the 20s. Cool old place!

Honey needs to get control of staff. We ordered a salad and the young lady serving us place the lettuce, croutons, and bacon bits on plate with bare hands. When we asked her about touching the food that way she said they had already put stuff away. Not sure what that had to do with the sanitary condition but maybe the county health inspector had't noticed the missing gloves.

This place is known for their slaw burgers - yes a slaw burger. The recipe is over 50 years old. It is a small place with booths and benches at the counter and a few tables in the back. I have eaten here twice and both visits have been incredible. 1st visit I chose the fish patties - they are battered cod, nice thick and cooked just right. They make their own tarter sauce which is very tasty. Last visit I tried a double cheeseburger with bacon - Oh my goodness slap my momma, it was the best hamburger I have had. Juicy, good flavor, toasted bun, fresh garden tomato, everything about this burger made want to go back the next day. The onion rings are also very good, plus my great nephew loves the chili/cheese fries. Well if you are in Fayetteville, TN on the square this place is a must stop for a slaw burger or slaw dog (hot dog sliced open, grilled and then placed on a hamburger bun with slaw).
