I have been to this particular Waffle House about three times in my life and I have not been to Dickson too many times. I must say it is one of the cleanest Waffle Houses I have been to and I have been to a number of them. The service is great and the food is satisyfing! For some reason though, this Waffle House seems to have the caloric intake information listed on every single item they serve. Now, may be I have not noticed this before but it was a partial downer. My friend reassured me that it was the South and they were known for good eating. This is the only thing that I saw as a problem and for that they get four stars instead of five. Again, great place to go to! Def the cleanest and friendliest Waffle House I have been to yet!

We usually receive great service when we visit this Waffle House. However, today we did not. Our waiter, Kim, screwed up everything she possibly could. First, my boyfriend asked for Dr. Pepper and she brought him coffee. We didn't say anything to her because coffee was fine with him.Then, my boyfriend had ordered his hash browns with onions, peppers, and ham. She brought them to us with cheese and ham. He hates cheese so this wasn't acceptable. Still we didn't say anything. I scraped the cheese off for him, but he didn't eat much. Then, to top off the bad experience, I received my bacon not well done, so I politely asked if it could be cooked longer. She said yes. She brought it back the exact same as it had been before. So I sent it back again. Finally on the third go round it was satisfactory done (barely). She wasn't rude at all, rather she was just incompetent. I don't know if it was a cook issue or what but it was awful. Won't be back.

Good food for a long day of driving. I was starting my day in the Nashville area and with 600+ miles ahead, I wanted a good load of caffeine and carbs. Waffle House to the rescue. This one is better than most - the staff took good care of me and the food was cooked properly. The cook missed my order slightly, making it smothered (onions) instead of covered (cheese) but it was right on the check. No worries, I figure it's worth trying something different and there's no one to complain about my breath when it's just me in the car. Jukebox was silent most of the time, but every so often it would kick off with some random tune. Really poor cell coverage in the area, I couldn't get any data. So I bought the paper from the stand out front.

We stopped here on the last leg of a 12 hour road trip, and it was just what we needed! Our waitress was super attentive and friendly, and my coffee cup was never empty. They defnitely have earned their namesake, as the chocolate chip pecan waffle I got was fantastic! Very comforting and filling. I am so happy these restaurants are open 24 hours!

Not a huge WH fan, but late at night, in the sticks, you gotta go with what is available. This was a much-improved experience over my last visit to a WH. The waitresses were on top of their game, timely, accurate, and overall very competent. The food was delivered in a timely manner though there were several customers in the facility.
