True roadside smoke pit flavor. Homemade goodness made here. I swear my Granny's back in the kitchen. If they have it ask for the coconut cake. Everything we had was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My grandson cleaned his plate and gave it a 2 thumbs up. Decor is nostalgic and qwirky. Servers are very attentive and friendly. If you are looking for it on Garmin you need to use TEN MILE Tennessee as the city or you won't find it. Worth the trip.

I've been here twice, got the Prime Rib they have on the weekend each time. I thought it was really good, no problems. Fast friendly service and the place is clean. Bill was $49 for three of us, Prime RIb, Drinks, plus Tax. I plan on going back and would recommend to others.

I have eaten at Uncle Gus' since it opened. It seems to get better and better every time. The owners are real down to earth people, the help is great as is the food. One word of warning, if you want to try their smoked prime rib (my favorite dish there) it is only served on Friday and Saturday evenings and it goes fast. Either go early or call ahead and have them hold you some. It's worth trying. I would also suggest their smoked wings, brisket and even their grilled shrimp is good.

If you have a hankering for down home country cookin, then this is the place. They serve breakfast on Friday and Saturday morning and they have the best biscuit and gravy anywhere. They make the gravy one pan at a time and home made not from a mix like most places. I have had to wait for them to make another batch a time or two but it is worth the wait. Some of my favorites are the Sloppy Chicken sandwich, Smoked Prime Rib (Fri-Sat night only), and if your really hungry try the Grilled Monster. It's a sandwich stacked with a little bit of everything they have in the place, Awesome!

If you are looking for a hole in the wall shack that has tasty food, look no further. It's worth it to go in and check out the decor. The smoked chicken sandwich had a good smoke pecan flavor, the meat was tender and was just moist enough but the sauce made up for the lack of juiciness. Good service, friendly folk. This is the kind of place you would look for when out on the twisted and need to take care of a food break. Check it out!
