If you are someone who cannot resist tasty food, then at Zaxby's you can always try the Zalads. The best part about these salads is that you can customize it as per your needs. Make it grilled, fried or just go for the garden which can make your salad healthy and low on calories.
Foods to Avoid at Zaxby's for Diabetics
If you are diabetic, you must skip all the Drinks served at Zaxby's. There are only a couple of no sugar drinks, but they are merely empty calories and don't contain any nutritional value. You must also avoid food items on the Popular menu at Zaxby's such as Buffalo Chicken Finger plate and Chicken Finger Plate. These items are high in sugar and sodium which can be harmful to diabetics. You must also keep the Chicken wings order to a maximum five to control your sugar intake. Avoid BBQ, Teriyaki, and Sweet & Spicy sauces in your Chicken wings order.
Instead of ordering fried chicken wing servings, you can always request for a grilled sandwich with lettuce, onion, and tomatoes to counter high blood pressure. A sandwich calorie count can range between 900 to 1600 calorie which can be reduced by asking for healthier options.
Foods to Avoid at Zaxby's for High Blood Pressure
If you have high blood pressure, then you must avoid Boneless wings and Club Sandwich at Zaxby's. You should also skip Kickin' Chicken Sandwiches as well as Chicken Finger Sandwich to control your blood pressure levels. You must also skip the chicken wings with multiple dressings and sauces at Zaxby's from the popular menu. these food items on Zaxby's menu contain a very high amount of sodium.
You should also skip salted fries at Zaxby's with your wings or sandwich as fries will spike the sodium levels unnecessarily. It is also recommended not to try Zappetizers such as Buffalo Dip and Tater Chips, Tater Chips, and Side of Tater Chips Onion Rings if you wish to limit your sodium intake.
Food suggestions for High Blood Pressure at Zaxby's
If you are supposed to restrict your calorie count, then try any of the zalads and club it up with a sandwich to fill your stomach with delicious food. To curb the cravings for deep fried food, opt for a small portion (5) of boneless wings and chicken fingerz.
Instead of ordering fried chicken wing servings, you can always request for a grilled sandwich with lettuce, onion, and tomatoes to counter high cholesterol. A sandwich calorie count can range between 900 to 1600 calorie which can be reduced by asking for healthier options.
Foods to Avoid at Zaxby's for High Cholesterol
Salads are often great and considered healthy. However, if you have high cholesterol, then you must be careful while ordering salads or shall we say Zalads at Zaxby's. Fried Cobb salad contains high-fat content which can spike your LDL cholesterol levels. Most food items on Zaxby's menu are high in fat content if you increase the quantity. Instead of opting for 10 or 20 chicken wings from the menu, opt for 5 traditional chicken wings to control your cholesterol balance.
zaxby's is okay. its not the world's best chicken strips, but its also not terrible. this location is always nice, clean, and quick! The employees are always VERY friendly! this is the only zaxby's (that i know of) in the memphis area. Good thing its in a good location though! Right in the middle of germantown parkway, but not located in a crazy busy shopping section.

If you are looking for something different from fried chicken, this Zaxby's is for you. The salads always are fresh and they have an interesting selection to choose from. The sandwiches are made fresh (or maybe it is because I always special order everything) and their fries are the best -- always hot and wonderfully seasoned!

Not the best sit down restaurant. But the food is good, salads are good, chicken sandwiches are good, but i recommend chicken fingers which sweet tea from drive through.

Well this was my first time going to this place which it might be my last time. It seemed like a lot was going when I came up to the register. I told the lady that I would like a cajun club combo. And I thought it would come with a drink but it didn't so I politely asked if I could get a drink and she said sure I could do that. Well I didn't get the right sandwhich but overall the food is decent and the coke cola machine is pretty nice.

You really don't get much for what you pay. The taste is nothing special. When you experience places like Cane's in Louisiana... heck, even Popeye's I would rather frequent than this place.

Second best fast food chicken in Memphis. Their salads and chicken salad sandwich may be better than Chick Fil-A. Had the Cobb Salad today. Great with blue cheese dressing. And the Texas toast is a nice touch.

The best fast food chicken ever! This place is better than Chick-fil-A actually, and that's saying a lot because I love them. Their chicken is nice and moist, and the batter is very seasoned. They also have great cole slaw. Another bonus is their Texas Toast! It comes on their sandwiches and also on the side with their chicken strip baskets. You can also get a basket of the toast. It's got a hint of garlic to it, but not so much that it overpowers the chicken or anything. Apparently the service is hit-or-miss but I've been lucky, every time I've been there (both the lobby and drive-through) I've had decent service. As a plus, when you get your food through the drive-through, they include plastic forks (if you ordered cole slaw or salads) and napkins. So many places "forget" to give this kind of stuff to you most times, either in a cost-cutting measure or laziness on the part of the bagger. Also as a heads up, their drinks are very generous. Don't get the large unless you're really thirsty, it's 42 ounces. Even the medium is huge at 32 ounces.

This is the most inconsistent Zaxbys that is in operation. Ordering the chicken strips is like playing a game of Russian Roulette or spin the wheel. Sometimes you will get perfect chicken, and sometimes you will get burnt, unseasoned chicken. Take your pick. The location on Hacks Cross is much better in my opinion. I couldn't end my review without talking about the horrid customer service at this location. They are slower than turtles stuck in peanut butter - sometimes they acknowledge you, sometimes they do not. You have been warned.

I tried to order and was completely ignored at the front with a friend for a solid 5 minutes. I can't comment on the food because I was too busy getting ignored by the staff.

This place has basically three things: chicken strips, french fries, and wings. They are delicious. I actually prefer it to Chik-Fil-A. I swear there's heroin in the Zax Sauce.

Zaxby's is a fast food chain, yes, but it is oh so delicious. I adore their chicken strips and french fries. It reminds me a lot of Chick-Fil-A, in that their chicken is just so freaking fresh and juicy. This ain't McDonald's nuggets kids! As an added bonus, they have stellar sweet tea and give you a Texas Toast-esque garlic toast with your meals. I heart Texas Toast and will never turn it away. I find that Zaxby's is very affordable for what they offer. Simply because Zaxby's doesn't taste very fast foody to me.

i surprised myself and really enjoyed the food here. everything was fatty, and greasy but it was satisfying and delicious. we ordered the kickin' chicken and chicken tenders. the kickin' chicken wasn't spicy but it still hit the spot and was really good. chicken was juicy, crispy and full of flavor from the hot sauce and buttered toasts. so fattening and so good. the chicken tenders & onion rings was good too. and loved the zaxby's sauce. i tried to get 1 more and they charged me 25 cents. oh well. will definitely be back when i'm craving some fast food junk again.

It's chicken finger foods. Chicken fingers, chicken wings, buffalo fingers, jumbo buffalo wings, chicken sandwiches, chicken etc. Many of the meals come with Texas toast on the side or as the bun for the sandwich. It's a decent fast food alternative to the rest of the chain gang. Zaxby's is mainly found in the Southern states. (Another chain I wouldn't mind seeing in Chicago) This location is found in a pretty popular shopping area, though surprisingly not busy. I guess in comparison to Chic-fil-A, it's not as appealing, mainly due to most thinking they are only about chicken fingers. It's definitely prettier than Chic-Fil-A but with less offerings. Looking at the drive up window, I thought is it just chicken fingers and salads?? I should've walked in and looked around, had I, maybe I would've noticed that they have alot of fiery sauces for wings and fingers. Wing sauce, MMhmmm. There's always next time. the grilled chicken was pretty good, you can't go wrong with honey mustard. Check out the website for a free ring tone with their jingle, works better with regular cell phones, couldn't get it for my smart phone.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT go here if you are in a hurry. What in all of God's name could possibly take this long to make a sandwich? Is the cook addicted to Facebook or texting or something and can't break away long enough to slap some chicken on a bun? The slowness of this location is unbelievable. Even if I am the only person in line it can still take 20 minutes. The food isn't even that great. Its okay, its not terrible or anything but I don't get it. They sprinkle some kind of powder on the fried stuff like onion rings and fries and it totally ruins the flavor. I've never met an onion ring that I didn't like until I had them at Zaxby's. Enough of the red sprinkle stuff already!! Do people like this? Maybe its just me, I just don't get it. This place is very close to my house so I go sometimes because it is so convenient but I am always thankful to have my iPad and cell phone to kill the time (a LOT of time) while I wait.
