I love this place and it is a daily stop for me. Even if it is just a quick stop for my favorite unsweet tea, it is a must! The chicken strip wrap and cheese sticks are my favorite and when was the last time you ever saw a grilled cheese at a fast food place?? No wonder they are always packed and my only suggestion would be to offer their fish sandwich all the time! My only suggestion is to find a safer way for the carhops and cars. Many of them are moving quickly between the cars but the cars aren't always watching for them and I have seen more as they get busier. Best fast food in Cordova!!

My favorite place for unsweetened tea and crunchy tater tots. The service inside and out is always quick and friendly. Dear Jr. Deluxe Cheeseburger, I am coming for you soon, very soon. Today I felt froggy so I leaped over there for a Sonic Blast (caramel brownie)...YUM!

Food, drinks, shakes allllll good. Breakfast burrito is my favorite. Their burgers, hotdogs, chicken sandwiches are all yummy.

Two things this Sonic does right: 1. Happy Hour--2-4 pm, half price drinks and slushes. Get your cherry-limeade on for cheap. 2. French toast. Seriously, this is really good French toast. This one is less scary than the one on Winchester. Sonic was my hangout as a teenager. I still feel some decent affection for it. As far as fast food goes, they rank among the top.

Sonic's one of the best fast food places in Cordova for sure. They've got tons of variety (if you can't find something you like there, you must be the pickiest eater ever) and serve the whole menu all day. For some people I go there with that's great because they can get breakfast all day, though for me it's nice because I can go in the morning and still get a burger or something. I'm just not a breakfast person, at least not unless it's from a sit-down place. Their chicken strips are great, though their dipping sauces leave a lot to be desired, to me at least. I'm a barbecue girl and I think their is bland. Their burgers are good too, which they're arguably the most famous for. Another is their hot dogs which are also great. The one thing I'm not a fan of is their grilled cheese. I love grilled cheese but they grease that bread up way too much, even if that bread is delicious Texas Toast. Their drinks are probably the other thing they're most famous for. If you've never been go any day from 2-4 pm. It's happy hour so you can get any drink or slush for half price, so it makes it a bit easier to try something other than your usual Coke or sweet tea. They have lots of syrups and fresh fruit they can add to any drink or just make a slush with. For a little something extra, you can add some ice cream to the slush and make it a cream slush (though this isn't included in the happy hour menu) - the lemon berry cream slush is great, it's made with real lemon and strawberries, no syrups. Another neat thing too is for their milkshakes and blasts (ice cream mixed with candy) is they now have a smaller size. If you're on a budget or watching your waistline, it can be a nice way to get a little something sweet without having to get a huge shake. The service is good, considering you order through a speaker and someone brings it to your car. But the ladies who bring your order are always friendly. Remember to tip them well, especially when it's hot, cold, or raining. :)

Would not recommend -- staff very lame - Drove to get a order of cheddar peppers -- got all the way home, in the ranch dressing. Drove all the way back and got a rude response when I mentioned it ,,, the girl literally pitched a thing of ranch dressing in my car !!!

For Jeff (from 1 month ago): the staff here IS NOT lame. I've stopped here many times over the years for drink or food. I've had many different ladies & gentlemen take care of my order. NEVER had an experience like his, which suggests he's a bad customer, one who is negative, complains, and just has a sour-puss disposition. Sir, you suck and should stay home to eat or just get someone else to pickup your food! Oh and if you are still reading, please give the Car Hops tips. At least round up to the next dollar, if not an extra $1-2, depending on the order.

Store was listed open til midnight. At 11 pm staff was lounging around and claimed to be closed

I frequented this Sonic drive in for about 2 months while I was working across the street. I happen to love Sonic's dollar menu, and the fact that you can order breakfast items all day long. Why doesn't every fast food location realize we ALL want breakfast options all day long?! Once people make pajama pants acceptable attire for the work place AND I can get breakfast from fast food restaurants any time of day, the world will be perfect. I digress, I adore the gals that skate my meal out to me at this particular Sonic. It never matters how full the drive in bays are, everything arrives to my car fast and hot. My particular favorites are the dollar menu breakfast burrito and the chili cheese Frito burrito. MMmmmmm. Fritos, chili and melted cheese rolled up into a flour tortilla for my eating enjoyment? Yes please! As an added bonus, if you wait till 2p-4pm all the drinks are half price. This meant I could get my cherry limeade, chili cheese Frito burrito and a small tater tot for a low price of $3 bucks and some change. FYI- for pete's sake, please tip these gals! Not only are the skating their little bums off, but its frackin' HOT out there and they do a phenomenal job. Plus, it is good tipping karma. Duh.

I hate to be the Debbie Downer regarding Sonic. I know, I know, my husband likes this place a ton and I wanted to like it. Even when they started advertising the frito burrito or whatever the heck it was. So, I gave it a try. I should insert here that I am one of 'those' people who eats a lot of organic/whole food, so that may explain this, but I eat Taco Bell sometimes -- wait, who am I kidding, I'm a big liar, I eat junk. Anyway. I tried it, simply because my husband insisted that he had a mouthgasm from the lime/cherry drink there. So I had that and a hot dog. Mayhaps that was not the best idea, because I was in the loo all night long. I'm pretty sure that 50% of the ingredients in Sonic food was made in a test tube somewhere in Ohio. But, hey, don't listen to me! One cool thing, the look of it. Very retro and cool.
