I go here fairly often with my family, always really good food! They have a REALLY good burger and blue cheese sirloin. I forgot (because I'm not a parent) that my sister was bringing my infant niece in her car seat and in the middle of a busy dining room and seeing our struggle to fit a baby at our booth, the older lady host walked over and took us to a better table without us even asking. It was really sweet and we appreciated that. If I back up a little bit, there were some rude people in the waiting area who got sat like ONE minute after another party who apparently come in after them.. I worked at a restaurant, so I know that sometimes happens .. and for a good reason usually. This lady starts being confrontational to the two ladies at the front and they kept their cool and were so kind to this lady anyway. That was cool to see. Our server was sweet and attentive, thought I cannot remember her name. I have never had bad service here either way. Great job, staff.

I grew up loving Rafferty's. It was always so exciting to be taken to Rafferty's as a child. These days it isn't very exciting. Their staff is fine, their restaurant is clean, but the food is lacking. Literally the only two things I eat at Rafferty's are the honey croissants (no nuts) and the chicken finger salad. Don't get me wrong, those two things will have me coming back to Rafferty's for as long as I am in Memphis. The croissants are melt in your mouth delicious!!! We always order some to take home. The chicken finger salad IS my favorite salad ever. The chicken tenders are so perfectly cooked and crispy. The cheese is mild and creamy. The boiled eggs in the ranch are tasty. To top it all off - potato sticks! Who knew that potato sticks could be the defining addition to a salad? Healthy? Maybe not...but YUMMY AS HECK!

Sept. 13, 2015 I want to first off put it out there that I have over 10 years in the food and beverage business. With that said, I believe I know what is good restaurant business sense when I see it. Now. My wife, daughter and I we're heading out to eat and we remember there was a Rafferty's here on Germantown Parkway in Memphis Tennessee. We haven't eaten at a Raffertys since we lived in Cincinnati Ohio, 10-15 years ago, so we decided to go eat there. We got in and there was no wait time. The hostess, an older lady, was very nice and sat us at our table and went over the specials. A moment later Larita our server (who was great!) came and took our drink order and appetizer order. We we selected our entrees and Larita came back and took our order. My wife order the filet medium with broccoli and a salad. I ordered the regular ribeye at medium rare and a sweet potato with a salad. So the food comes out in my steak was cooked perfectly, but my wife's was well done. So we sent hers back and waited about 10 to 15 minutes for a new steak. Larita brought out the new steak and my wife cut into it and it was rare, so we sent it back again. Another 15 minutes went by, and the manager Bryan Barnett delivered the third attempt. By this time my 2 year old daughter and I were done with our plates. He waited as my wife cut into her steak. It was a little more on the medium rare side of the steak temperature spectrum, but she accepted it. The third attempt of her steak (which was an up-cook from the second attempt) was bland as if they had burned all the season off and squeezed the juices from the steak to get it out fast. If I was her, I wouldn't have eaten it but she did eat most of it. After my wife finished Larita brought the bill and left. I open the booklet up and assumed there would be some kind of compensation. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Larita came back and I asked her if would be any compensation for the mistakes on the steaks and she said there was nothing they could do about it. I was baffled. What? Are they serious?! I asked Larita if I could speak to her manager. So, she left and went to fetch him. By this time, my 2 yr old was starting to act up, so my wife took her to the car to wait for me. 10 min later, Bryan Barnett comes out. First off, he speaks to be from the other side of the wall, which I thought was very unprofessional. This is how the conversation went: Me: "I don't know if you know what happened but..." Bryan: Yes, about the steaks. Me: Yes, my wife's filet was first over cooked, then undercooked, then finally came out ok. Bryan: Ok... *pause* Me: Well I believe we deserve some kind of compensation for the trouble. I mean, come on, my 2 yr old and myself were done with our meals before the steak came out correctly. We would be happy with 1/2 off on her meal. Bryan: Sorry we can't do that. I can give you a free dessert or appetizer but I can't give you anything else. Me: Seriously? Bryan: Yes. ("WHAT?! What kind of manager are you then?" I thought.) Me: (I was done.) Ok I don't care, an appetizer I guess. Bryan left and came back with a business card with a stamp on the back for a free app. He said sorry and hopes they can better serve us next time and left. Larita came back for the payment and expressed how sorry she was for the incident and if she could do anything, she would. I told her that it wasn't her fault and that we would definitely take care of her. Point being, I find it really hard they could not comp the steak at least 1/2 off! ) Any other restaurant would do so or even comp her whole meal. This is a prime example of bad business sense and will definitely drive business to the competitors. But, it looks like eating $10 for a repeated mistake is more important than having returning guests. Go figure. We loved going to Rafferty's in Cincinnati (it was great) but we will not be returning to Raferty's management issues are addressed and we are compensated for our experience. Jared Davis

The main reason I come here is for the honey butter croissants. Yeeees. The ribeye is good, it can be a little fatty sometimes though. But for the same kind of taste there's also the Kona chicken which is great. Their sides are pretty good too, I've only tried the french fries (awesome), and the mashed potatoes (also very good). The service is pretty good too. Sometimes it can be a little spotty but altogether the service is usually good, never have to wait long on refills, your server checks back on you.

Spinach salad with chicken and hot bacon honey mustard dressing was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent. The hostess was happy to have customers come in and greeted us with excitement. Good food, good service = return customers.

Food not very good, service worse. I used to enjoy this place for the big Chef Salad with their dressing. Now it's pretty sad. Nowhere near as big, not well executed. (And for a salad, where you're just mixing a bunch of ingredients and there's no cooking involved, that's not very good.) Poor choice of beer. Not going back.

Ordered one of my favs, hot fingers/ half rib combo with fries. Always on point. Never too busy. Atmosphere just right. Of course, you can't forget those buttery croissants!!! Delicious as usual.

I hadn't been to Rafferty's in several years; I now recall why. I'm not a huge fan of their recipes. My salmon was overcooked, the batter on the fried mushrooms left a lot to be desired and the brookie was awful. I was expecting something of higher and fresher quality. The food was ok but nothing that would motivate me to proactively dine there again. The patio was nice so I could envision taking someone up on a happy hour.

I've eaten at Rafferty's for years, both in Memphis and other cities. What I love is the consistency between menu items from location to location. Always know what to expect and get just that. When traveling a lot for work, it's nice to know you can get good food at a good price. The staff at the Cordova location has always been friendly and even spoke with the Food Supervisor to compliment them on such a fine job of preparing my food.

Chicken tenders & soggy french fries taste like they've been fried in old, flavorless grease. Staff is pleasant. I just wish the food was better.

Walked in about 8:30 on Monday night..seated right away. Confusion over which server was going to take my table. The first server was very friendly, and took my drink order.. She turned like the hands on a clock, when she realized it was someone else's table. When I told her she got my drink order incorrect..she got defensive and started mumbling as she walked away. Came back with the corrected order and slammed it on the table, and walked away (I'm a little confused as to why though) The correct server took my dinner order and seemed to care less. The food looks and tastes decent.. I will try again, just to see if it was an off night..

I used to really love the salads at Rafferty's. I get cravings for them. Lately though they just aren't that great. I don't know if the quality of the ingredients has changed or if my taste has changed - probably the latter. But one thing that I still love at Rafferty's are the fried mushrooms. From now on, I'll go just for them. I was just at this store on 2/15 around 12:30-1pm. The place was crowded but there was no wait. There was a Tiger's game on and the atmosphere was lots of fun. The waiter was cute and friendly.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. It was busy, but the service was still too notch. Drink never went empty and the food was cook well; tasted great. Loved their dill pickles appetizer. I will definitely go back here to try more items.

1st off...I have to say you are assaulted by huge screens of FOX NEWS on maybe a dozen TVs around the place. I don't want to see Fox's crappy slanted lying broadcasting while I am spending my money and my free time. I ordered a house salad with their hot bacon dressing, along with a angus burger. Salad & dressing is always excellent. Burger, ordered medium, was well done, Still it was tasty, and in a tasty bun...but it was thin, small, and expensive at $7...with no sides. Maybe they could have had reasonable prices if they did have so many huge damn Fox news TVs in every nook and cranny. Oh I must say our server ERIC was perfect! And service here is always great!

We've been here 10 - 12 times and the food and service are consistently great. The atmosphere is relaxed, casual, and family friendly. There are a dozen or so TVs that play sports and news. (A previous reviewer stated that most if the TVs had on Fox News and I've found that to be untrue: must of the screens are tuned to sports.)

Just left there without eating. We put our name in to be seated and asked what the expected wait time was. They refused to give even a rough estimate - 10-30-60 min is what I asked for as a ballpark range. Wouldn't give a guess. That just seems like poor management to me. Don't want to eat there.
