Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Food was okay - not the best I've had.

I've been to Moe's in more than 4 states, and I'd agree that this is the most disappointing one. Service was quick because there wasn't anyone else here, which I might attribute to the previous reviews and strange location. Some parts of the steak was mushy and I was surprised they could accomplish that since I've had a Joey bag of donuts probably 20 or 30 times and never had that problem before. I've never seen a Moe's this empty before. They did label one of my burritos so we could tell the difference between them. If you're trying to get back on Germantown parkway to turn left, go out the back way from the restaurant into the Target parking lot and to the light there. It's safer than jumping across all those lanes of traffic with no traffic light.

Was completely underwhelmed on our first ever trip to Moe's this past weekend. I feel like we paid much more than we expected to (compared to similar restaurants) and the quality and taste of the food was less than what we expected. Favorites: the pork and the tomatillo salsa - both very tasty. Least favorites: the guacamole (didn't taste fresh) and the crew working there (who argued amongst themselves in front of us). Not to mention, it wasn't very clean inside the restaurant.

Chain food at best but really handy for those who may be on weight watchers "point" system. (wife just put me on it) The rice bowl with beans, grill veggies, lettuce, etc..etc...etc really makes for a filling meal. Bonus goes to Moe's with the Salsa bar and the many different types to choice from. For those of us out there who like to think more is better, I was able to have a different taste of salsa with each bite, and go back for more. Listen up people..it's fast food, it's a chain, they always yell, "welcome to Moe's" and you're always gunna get the same quality of food with each visit. It's a safe bet if you can't decide and time is running out for lunch and fried food & burgers are on the no-no list. I'll be back because my belly is full and it only cost me 9 weight watcher points...yea me!!!!

Dirty, dirty, dirty. Poor management I assume as floors and tables are very dirty. Corners of restaurant appear to never have been cleaned. Water in soda fountain tastes funky suggesting that fountain lines may have mold growing.

This place just gets 'moe' nasty to me.....is the chicken even real? I've been here a few times obviously forgetting about how it tastes - its never clean behind the glass....there's cheese everywhere, a little sour cream splash next to the other condiments....ew

Awesome!!! I love Moe's and every time I get my humongous burrito I go home happy. The drink machine is really cool also. I highly recommend gettin steak, black beans, the queso, peppers and onions and the corn salsa on a joey. These other reviewers are not in their right minds. Love it!!!

Decent place to get a quick Mexican fix. Never had a bad meal other than the rice being undercooked once. Plenty of things to choose from but the meat is pretty bland but not to the point of making the whole meal bad.

I'm giving Moe's 2 stars (as opposed to 1) because of the "healthy" aspect of your food compared to other fast food. Moe's! What's going on???!!!! I used to love this place. It is close to my office and the price is nice and the food WAS much better than other "fast food". However, it's been a while since I was in. My how you've slipped! My most recent visit may be my last, at least at this location (I DO like Moe's food, well . . . did). I have an aversion to filth. It appears that the entire restaurant is turning into a greasy mess. The floors, which when new were gorgeous slate tiles, seem to be covered in a layer of grease/slime! Do you use a clean mop head daily, or do you use the same nasty mop water and mop head day after day after day? The dining chairs all appear to have been in a bar-room brawl. The ends of the booth benches are all frayed like some piece of equipment beets the daylights out of them on a daily basis. I could take the fraying booths if it appeared that the floor had even been mopped in the past year! For the Food: The food had no taste. I got a steak Joey Jr (formerly Moo Moo Mr. Cow, only now more expensive without a cookie). The meat had no flavor - none! The tomoatoes and onions had no flavor. The grilled mushrooms had no flavor. Has everything changed since a year ago? The wall decor has changed too, but for the better, but it looks as if that, too has been through WWIII. After seeing the condition of the filthy floors and beat-up tables/chairs of the dining area, I was terrified to visit the restrooms - which is normally a visit I make even if just to make a rude comment about it on Yelp. So, for this review, at least I'm not ripping apart your restrooms, but I dare readers to check them. I'm trying to start a restroom revolt! Mainly because most are so revolting! This Moe's location is beginning to remind me of an old Long John Silvers (where did they all go?). I used to love those as well, but they all seemed to get SO disgustingly greasy (floors/walls/seats, etc) that you'd fear for your health just by walking in. This Moe's is NOT looking good. They used to be slammed with diners at almost all hours of the day and now they look deserted . . . maybe you should take a hint and sand blast the gunk off your floors and spice it up a bit! If the artwork has been damaged - replace it! WHY did you pay so much for such hi-end products (flooring) and now let it go to pot??? CLEAN IT UP OR DIE A LONG SLOW GREASY DEATH!

Not sure why this location has gotten a couple bad reviews. I come here every Monday and the service always friendly and food consistently good.

OMG what a bad experience!!! I called about the free kids meal and was told I didn't need to bring my kids to get them, so I left them home since it was cold outside. I came inside ask if they were doing the free kids meal and was standing there for 15m trying to figure out what to get and when I walked up to order she says "we can't unless you have them with you".. I was stunned didnt I ask them on the phone and was it not clear for the last 15mins I had no kids with me!? Manger wouldn't honor what I was told on the phone even though I had them saying I didn't need the kids with me. What a joke I won't be giving them my money and I hope all my friends don't after I tell them how bad service was! Rude!

Seeing as the other reviews are a little older, I wanted to make a more updated review. I went to this location for the first time yesterday ( I usually go to the one on Walker Ave) and it was very clean ! There weren't many people inside which kind of surprised me because the other one is usually very busy. The crew seemed a little tired or bored, but they were nice and completed both my orders quickly and exactly as I wanted. The guacamole wasn't that great and browned quickly when I got home, and the tofu looked funny as if it was overcooked or something. Everything else tasted great ! I had a ruprict and a tofu bandcamp with grilled vegetables. Just upgrade the tofu and guacamole and this is a pretty good place !

I look at this place as I think it is meant to be looked at, not quite fast food, but not quite a regular sit down restaurant. Even though I am from the southwest I look at the name of the restaurant and understand it is trying to give the customer a feel for the type of food they are going to serve. I know and love Mexican food and for a not quite fast food place, this is not bad at all. There are a good variety of flavors you can mix in your personally built burrito or whatever else you decide to have. I really like that you can customize your meal and add any extra kick you want. There is a decent variety of sauces to add as well and every time I have been in the place has been clean and the service friendly. As my rating indicates, Moe's is A-OK and I would recommend it for an easy, quick meal. And remember this, if you go away hungry after the huge portions they give you, I would be amazed.
