We've been to this Shoney's a couple of times now, breakfast buffet is good. Last night we stopped in for a late evening dessert. I'm always a fan of the fudge cake. Had great service from Tim, such a pleasant guy - even literally chased us out of the parking lot when one of our party left her keys! What a great experience, it's nice to know great customer service isn't totally a dying art.

It's not a Big Boy but its close enough. The staff was very friendly and loved to chat. The food is decent but a little pricy for what your getting. They had maybe five tables at six on a Saturday night, so that made the food come out quickly. I don't go often but every once in a while I crave a slimjim. So I guess if you've never had a slimjim, I guess that's a reason to go...

If you've ever been to a Shoney's, then this Shoney's is probably not much different than you expect. The restaurant has a decent breakfast bar on the weekends with moderately good taste. It's a breakfast bar. Don't come here expecting gourmet food. I'm a huge fan of bacon, so Shoney's breakfast bar is where you go when you want truckloads of bacon. The bacon I had here was a little overdone in some parts and underdone in others. I'm not sure how this is accomplished, but Shoney's knows the secret! It wasn't terrible, though. For under $10 (including tax, tip and possibly drink, depending on what you order), you can have all the overdone/underdone bacon, eggs, biscuits, grits and MORE.

Really disappointed by Shoney's this week. Came here this morning for breakfast buffet and walked out without eating. Grabbed a plate and noticed that all the food was covered with flies; not 1 or 2, but dozens and dozens! Glad I was passing through because I won't be back!!! Stopped at one Nashville earlier this week and they were out of bacon. Seriously? Out of bacon at breakfast? I believe there is a law against that. If not, there should be!

This is not a good place for lunch or dinner. I don't enjoy any of their options really. The food is too greasy to me. Their breakfast is a little better than lunch or dinner. It is still is greasy as well.

Food was good, our waitress and hostess was good, but the manager was really, really rude to us when we were just being friendly. Not going back because of her.
