It was Friday night and I convinced two people to come with me for some appetizers and to give this special restaurant another try. And I am glad that we did. I was concerned that going on a Friday night would not allow us a place to sit, but there were seats at the bar even at primetime. We were greeted by a friendly bartender. We told him that we wanted to eat so he gave us menus. We each picked a different appetizer. While waiting for the food, we enjoyed the ambiance and people watching. We also took note and the nice decor in the cleanliness of the restaurant. The food came in a reasonable amount of time and came out with such a beautiful presentation. We ordered three appetizers which included the pork queso that was served with the home cut chips, fried green tomatoes, and fish tacos which was also served with. the home cut chips. We decided that we each enjoyed the fried green tomatoes best, followed by the fish tacos, and then the dip. This place is an upscale trendy restaurant in the middle of downtown Cookeville. The clientele is nice and service is very good. We enjoyed ourselves and hope to come back again soon

Dinner Junec 11 9pm Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Fried Green Tomatoes had a very tasty breading and were better than most. Salads had fresh mix of vegetables and were very good. My Pork Loin was cooked perfectly to my request and I really enjoyed the Demi-glaze sauce. Mashed potatoes were good. Thought the slaw was ok, but needed to be cut/ chopped more as it was too long and stringy to my liking. I would not get it again. My only recommendation would be to " Jazz up" the presentations a bit. Add some garnishments to the plates to pretty them up. It won't change the taste, but would make diners feel like they are getting their monies worth.

So now Seven Senses has changed their menu. It's not the same...I used to love the beef sliders

Chris was absolutely AH-MAZ-ING and made very excellent suggestions for after dinner dessert and drinks. The pecan pie cheesecake is life changing. Highly recommend.

My husband and I, along with another couple, went to Seven Senses on a Saturday night around 930. After first walking in, I was impressed by the ambiance, and the musician performing that night was amazing. Our server was extremely nice, but didn't seem to be trained very well. We all ordered the filet, which came with mashed potatoes and fried asparagus. I substituted my asparagus for a side salad. The food came within a reasonable amount of time. The salad was great, the mashed potatoes were amazing, I tried a friend's mac and cheese and even the fried asparagus. Everything was to die for. So... why three stars? The steak was terrible. Chewy. Difficult to cut. Fatty. Almost stringy. It looked like a bad cut of sirloin. After sawing at the steak on my plate for a few minutes, even my husband read my mind... declaring "I don't think these are filets." Everything was good, but I definitely would not recommend the filet. If they are trying to pass off bad cuts of sirloin for filet.... then they really need to do a better job.

A great spot for lunch. The decor is comfortable and open and the bar is well stocked. College kid staffers mostly and they are sweet and friendly. I can't get enough of that steak pita sandwich!

Obsessed with this place! Steak sliders are the bomb and so are the "hush puppies". Great atmosphere, nice for a date or dinner with friends. The service is excellent.

Awful food. Salty, overcooked, and greasy. Service is ok, but does not make up for the poor quality of the food. Not recommended.

Place was ok very nice. I ordered the slider sampler and very disappointed. Small sandwiches. Not enjoyable at all. I would suggest something else. Try Crawdaddies across the street.

I thoroughly enjoyed the mushroom, onion burger w/ homemade chips and ranch dip on the side. My husband had the yummy steak sandwich and my mom had the all American burger. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend.

Lunch the other day was great! I had the fillet steak sandwich with candied bacon, au jus to die for and the sandwich was like biting into butter, the meat was that tender. The All American burger, Blt and Bologna sliders were equally great. Girls at table next to us had the 7 Cheese Sammy which I want to try next..served with bacon and tomato. They have their own home made potato chips with special dipping sauce which was good but will try their fries next time. Reasonably priced and has a full bar to boot...good new choice in town,

I went for lunch and the atmosphere was nice and the food was pretty good. The fish tacos were pretty good. Not friend and light. The staff seemed friendly. Wouldn't mind trying an entree for dinner.

The chef here is a self taught culinary genius....what he does with everyday ingredients is simply wonderful. Kudos to Elizabeth and Lori, the regular bar keeps that are here when I meander in, are warm, smart and great hostesses who truly make you feel welcome. Seven Senses is easily accessible with plenty of parking, and well worth the effort to get here. So what the hell are you waiting for? Get over here already!

I've been a couple times, and wasn't impressed. The food is alright, but not anywhere near the quality you would expect for the price. Beer selection is alright. My main issue is the atmosphere - cold at best, crowded. This place would really benefit from a new menu and a bigger venue.
