Went here for my 21st birthday :) I've been to O'Charley's restaurants before but this one felt much nicer. It was recently reopened, so it's clean and has a lot of fresh faces. Our server was named Ethan and had red hair that made the green of O'Charley's feel very Irish. He was very nice and patient with my mother who kept saying "Wait wait! Let me get a picture!" (my first buying of an alcoholic beverage, me holding my ID, etc) while he stood there. So thanks, Ethan! Also the food was really good, and the drink I had. PLUS, that caramel pie was insane. Today is a Wednesday and if I had someone to go with me, I would definitely go there because Wednesday is free pie day. That is more exciting than it should be.

The place is awesome. We have eaten at other OCharleys before but not like this one. Although they were packed when we walked in it took less time than they told us to get seated. Food also arrived at the table almost right after we ordered. Our orders were specifically as we ordered. (Big plus) The GM was not only on the floor the whole time, he actually took time to talk to each table not just check like most managers do. He even delivered food, cleaned tables and swept the floor. Would definitely stop here again given the chance.

Four stars for food, two stars for service and atmosphere. I get it, the south is way more laid back than this big city girl is used to however I have never walked into an establishment before who's entry way was strewn with boxes and menus and garbage all over the seats and floors. Chicken fried steak with loaded mashed potatoes was amazing. Drink choices looked tempting. Fam loved the French dip type sammie, steak and broc casserole. Waiter was very distant, didn't look at us while he spoke and cleaned all around us as we were eating.

We went here for a late lunch, our first visit. My wife had the half turkey BLT sandwich with a cup of tomato basil soup. It was smallish but tasty. I had the endless loaded potato soup with salad, which was very good. The rolls were excellent, and service was attentive. I ordered peach pie as well and it was ok. But overall, a worthwhile visit and relatively inexpensive.

Thought I should add some real commentary to the reviews on this place. The public deserves a real, recent review. We have been here twice in the past 8 days, by happenstance first, and choice, second. The drinks are booze-weak. Even on "happy hour" (3 to 7), they are not a stiffie, even on a double $8 it seemed light, but alas, good drafts in large glasses are only 3.50. If you join their club, you get an appetizer on the house! And wings? Well the Wal Mart shopper who reviewed this place for wings years ago is passé at best. They have tenders, but no wings. I luv the chicken pot pie (9.99 and includes salad (yum wedge!) or bowl if soup ( clam chowder yumyum) which is such a deal! The cowboy steak for9.99 deal, fish and chips another deal! 3 dollar wine pours and really pleasant and accommodating staff. We find this place consistent, good, large portions and good variety. A def go to in Cookevlle. Hear the updated brunch is also extremely good. Will be out next stop here. Go to the O. You won't be disappointed. I promise.
