We continue to come to Puckett's in Columbia. The food and service has been excellent we usually sit at the bar at happy hour. Sabrina is the best bartender and a nice person. I usually get the Puckett's brew for $1.15 at happy hour itch half priced appetizers. I do wish they would expand the appetizer menu with sliders and maybe a couple more things. We are looking forward to trying their new restaurant in Thompson's Station when it opens. Puckett's is also a good place for live music Friday and Saturday nights. It is my favorite place in the area to dine.

Lunch specials are great! We like to come here for lunch especially when we have business guests. Travelers are always looking for a local joint with great food and Puckett's fits. They have fantastic lunch specials with meat and vegetables. I got the fried pork chop with mashed potatoes and green beans on my last visit. One should always ask about the vegetable of the day before ordering. The food here has always been wonderful. This is one of my favorite lunch places.

We truly enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere was comfortable and the staff was courteous. I would recommend Puckett to anyone. Tanya had ribs. She is tough critic of BBQ. But she really liked her dish. We brought some sauce to take home.

When arriving at the restaurant our estimated wait time was about 30-40 mins, we end of getting seated 10 mins after (party of two). We were greeting by Kyle Besaw he was our server for the night, he was such a kind & sweet southern gentlemen. The service was great, and the live band at 8pm was a hit. My boyfriend enjoyed their music a lot, it was his type of music. The mac & cheese with pulled pork was absolutely phenomenal. The shrimps & grits wasn't as great as everyone said on yelp. It didn't have very much favoring as you would expected. The appetizer fried greenbeans was on point, especially with the chipotle ranch dipping. Overall, it was a great experience. Everyone should check it out.

It's a great little place with lots of atmosphere. The food is good, not mind blowing, but good. We've been before and we will be back again.

Had lunch there today. Been there several times and have always ordered the meat and three or meat and two lunch that's offered. Food has been average or above average in those past visits. Today, my wife tried a salad for the first time (with grilled chicken) and she thought it was very good. She speculated that it would have been 3 or 4 dollars more in the Nashville/Cool Springs area for something similar. For the first time I tried a sandwich...the patty melt with fries. The patty melt itself was average.....nothing great but typical of what you'd get at most restaurants. The fries that came with it are another matter. They were either oven baked or cooked in one of those hot air fryers....not fried in shortening as I was expecting. They quickly lost their warmth and were limp and unappealing. My suggestion is to skip the fries and substitute another side in their place !!!!!!!!!

We had an amazing breakfast! I had the Texas Two Step which is the brisket hash over a cornbread waffle served with eggs. Just Amazing when you add your hot sauce or bbq sauce of your choice! Our server was funny and friendly on top of great service!

We just left Puckett's after a late lunch/early supper. Even though it was 30 mins until closing, we were greeted and seated with a smile. Our server was exceptional and the food came in quick time. I don't know if all of this is typical or if it was because they were really slow (there were two other tables occupied at the time). I'm gonna say that they're normally pretty good in this area. The food was both ways. We started with the fried green beans. Yum! Highly recommended!!! I had a veggie plate (steamed veggies, mashed sweet potatoes, squash casserole, and turnip greens). They were ok. The Mac n cheese on my daughter's plate was good. My husband had the Tennessee brisket sandwich and fries. He said he really liked it! The fried brownie sundae was out of this world and a must have!!!

Favorite thing here is the fried chicken, baked beans and sweet potato fries. Yum! I also love the chicken and waffles with a side of syrup. I've also had the catfish plate and chicken fried chicken which are both good. Desserts are hit and miss. The Weekend breakfast buffet was also good, huge selection.

Puck's was great when they first opened but we're seeing a steady decline since. My last two visits have probably been, well, my last two visits. One, on a Sunday for lunch, was simply too long to wait for the food. And when I say too late, I mean well over an 45 minutes after ordering. Does your church have evening services? Better not eat here... The second was a weekday morning. Service was exceptional but the food was so mediocre I found myself dreaming of the Shoney's buffet. Puckett's bacon was paper thin (used to be that husky thick-sliced stuff) and the eggs were served hot and fresh...from a grill cleaned maybe sometime last week. Grits arrived in a little ball...dry, dry. Oh my, Pucketts, Pucketts, where have you gone. We've tried to be faithful but this isn't looking good. Hope they survive but I probably won't eat there much anymore. Best wishes.

Could be better. Food is decent, a tad bit over priced for what you get. Forced to pay a cover charge on Friday/Saturday nights for bands that no one wants to see. There are much better places to eat at in Columbia/Spring Hill/Franklin.

Wife and I visiting our daughter and her family who recently moved here... The BLT with fried green tomatoes, the assorted sliders and breaded green beans were outstanding. Delicious sweet potato fries,,,Great pulled pork, delicious fruit ice tea beverage and amazing cookie and brownie desserts...we all shared so got to sample everything and everything was delicious.....waitress, Courtney, was EXCELLENT...sweet, efficient, friendly and so helpful, a real asset to this restaurant...will definitely be back on next visit to daughter and she and her husband already placed it high on their list now that they have relocated here...wonderful atmosphere and fun place.

Stopped in here for the breakfast buffet on Sunday. The food was very fresh and very tasty. Typical breakfast buffet, eggs, bacon , biscuits and gravy. They did have a French Toast Casserole that tastes a lot like bread pudding it was yummy. Our server was really pleasant and very helpful. I love the atmosphere and they even have a stage for live music in the evening.

I've never been to another Puckett's location so I have nothing to compare it to. But based on all the great things I'd always heard about the Franklin location, I was pretty disappointed when I finally tried the Puckett's in Columbia. It's a "neat" atmosphere and the service is good. But the food quite frankly just isn't anything to write home about. I regularly have better dinners at home courtesy of my wife. That said, it's not bad. It's just not that great. I could take it or leave it. I will definitely be back. But if I'm wanting to spend $30-50 on a dinner for two, there are much better options in this town.

We have been here many times since it opened in Columbia and each time it gets worse and worse. The service is always good and everyone is nice. But the kitchen is awful, the sides were barely room temperature, the rice was hard and the portions get smaller and smaller. To top it off by the end of dinner we had flies around our table. Never again.

Just had lunch at Puckett's in Columbia. My first time. I haven't been to other Pucketts. I read the negative reviews and was pleasantly surprised at all aspects of my dining experience. Drink order taken and drinks delivered quickly. Rhonda, our waitress showed up on the heels of our drinks. She gave us the specials and her recommendations. She was very friendly and when asked how food was prepared, she answered our questions thoroughly. Had fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. Aioli was homemade and delicious. We both had catfish with fresh cooked white beans. The crust on catfish was light and seasoned well. I had the turnip greens with my catfish and was surprised how they tasted like my mother's greens. All in all, from the sweet tea to Rhonda to the catfish, greens and white beans, I thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere at Pucketts. Also bought a jar of their famous barbecue sauce. Can't wait until I get back to Seattle to cook with it.

We came in a little late on a Tuesday night so it wasn't that busy. There was a waitress outside washing the windows. We stood in the doorway for a few minutes, watching the hostesses and a waitress gabbing and gossiping instead of attending the door; until a very overworked waitress, Marissa came up and offered her services. While standing there, another patron came up and complained that they had been waiting forever for desert and their waitress "disappeared". Marrissa jumped right on it and took over. We decided to sit our party of three down at the empty bar where we were greeted very promptly and with a smile by Savannah, the bartender. Savannah gave us her whole attention all night, making wonderful suggestions, and with us. Us, having never been to Pucketts before, she gave us some history of the cherry wood smokers. She suggested the Smoked Sausage & Cheese as an appetizer. Oh WOW! It was delish! It has a wonderful wonderful taste to it! The three of us all had BBQ on the brain, (we had heard of Pucketts legendary BBQ platter); I got the Chicken, Big WIllie & Brownie got the Pork. I subbed out my slaw for Sweet Potato Fries. Those were some of the freshest fries I have ever eaten! And the BBQ was DIVINE! We ended our meal each with a slice of Pecan Pie. Yum Yum Yum! What started as a rough experience was quickly turned around and attentive more mature staff and management. Will definitely be eating here again!

Hello owner and manager of Pucketts. Word is spreading that the food at Pucketts in Columbia just isn't as good as the one in Franklin. Similar menu but not coming out the same. Personally I had the shrimp and grits about two weeks ago and it was the saltiest thing. Need to pick it up down there!

Puckett's in Franklin has been a favorite in my family for years. Recently we attended the new Columbia location, hoping the food was as good. We had a large group for a Birthday party so we were concerned about how things would go. Our wait staff did an exceptional job with such a large group (50+). Drinks were always full, orders came out quickly and correct. The Mule room was great for a party. The best part was the food was just as good or better than our memories of Franklin. Big kudos to Puckett's for keeping the quality high at a new location and having great staff. Our experience was awesome in every way. I'm sure most of our party will return again many times over.

Yes, our family has done the Fork and Franklin locations. We tried the Columbia location. They still need lots of training!!!!! We were given a table in the back next to a sliding door that almost all of the employees were walking in and out of,,,, annoying,,, i ordered the ribs... Precooked, these were cold and tough. Folks, in the south we know our BBQ. We will stick with O'Charleys... Our waitress was top notch. The food was not.
