Located in what looks like an old Pizza Hut building, the restaurant looks a bit sketchy, but does have a 95 on their health score. Definitely no thrills dining. I ordered the lunch special which happened to be my usual chicken joint meal; 2 piece spicy dark with 2 sides and a drink. It came with mashed potatoes with gravy, coleslaw and a biscuit. The potatoes were of the reconstituted powdered variety, the coleslaw was pre-made food service slaw, and the biscuit was probably a Pillsbury frozen bake off (which I happen to like). The potatoes were not particularly tasty and the "gravy" made them worse. The slaw was edible but not note worthy. I ate all of the biscuit. The spice level on the chicken was good; I got the mid level "spicy" and it was where I expected it to be on the heat scale. Both pieces were cooked through with a OK breading. My main problem with the chicken was that it had been a little too long under the heat lamp and, while not soggy, had lost some crunch. I had hoped for better since it was only 12:15 they were doing a steady take out business. I think I will stick to Popeye's or Bojangles for spicy chicken from a chain store.
