This is Starbucks at it's best. Friendly and efficient and plentiful baristas with a speedy line at drive thru and a clear ordering process. Plenty of parking and always a full house inside. Especially appreciate warm pastry samples and personal service of Pam Mary Ray and Josh. Drinks are made to Starbucks high standards and they are not afraid or disgruntled by any modifications to your triple shot extra hot venti etc drink. This is my favorite Starbucks; we have been coming so often my baby exclaims "Mommy's coffee" every time we drive by!

Starbucks is pretty straight forward but this one has exceptional service and we've never gotten "burnt" drinks. We always drive through and sometimes (think holiday season) the line is insane but it never stops moving. We get quick service with a smile and usually a kind comment - even when they're clearly swamped. The Starbucks near our house has a bad habit of over doing it on the heat - we frequently get drinks that taste burnt. This location (our shopping Starbucks) does not have that issue.

Once every few Saturdays, I will buy myself a WSJ Weekend Edition just to get a glimse into the good life of the 1%. As far as I know, Starbucks and Fresh Market are the only two places that carry it in this part of town. If I happen to be in the mood for a Green Tea Latte, I will go to Starbucks to fetch my paper. On a side note: I have not found a comparable Green Tea Latte in other coffee/tea houses. Fortunately, after years of indulgence, now I can actually get by just fine without it. Not all Starbucks are created equal. This particular location lacks ambiance and the store layout is rather lame. I can either sit on one of the uncomfortable-looking hard chairs and hurt my lazy back or squeeze in between two strangers and find myself an awkward spot on the sofa. Nah, I think I will do my reading or web-surfing else where.

Super nice staff, great at making drink's (mine's a little complicated and they get it right every time). They always have food which is a big plus. I love bagels and their spinach feta egg wrap is divine. The drive through is fast as well if you're on the way to the mall.

It's a chain. The service is good the coffee is what one would expect from a chain. Is there any place in Memphis where one can get a true cappuccino or latte made by a true Master Barista? If they can do it in Europe, they can do it here. Not much else to say... Comfortable place to go and relax before work or play. Service is good and they make pretty good deserts.

I'm giving this location four stars for being the best car dealership waiting room I know. When my fine Ford product needs service, I drop it off early-morning at Landers (corner of Houston Levee and Poplar) and play the five-minute reality version of Frogger, crossing the road to this Starbucks location. The core staff has been the same for a long time, and they're always so friendly. Today, I'm trying their Chicken Sausage Breakfast wrap, and it's really good. A subtle burst of spice from the peppers. It's hot, and from all appearances, healthy. I would add a couple more positive comments, but... The service dude just called so it's time for me to play the next level of Reality Frogger. Helpful Hint: Bring your "pod" of choice and headphones if you come. Sometimes the music selection may not suit.

Not a great location. I'm from Seattle and I was really unhappy with the service and quality of the stuff we ordered. Just wasn't great... Starbucks needs to get their employees re-trained here at this one. They are always frustrated and never smiling and hard to get a good drink here that is right.

Indifferent employees, terrible parking lot, not very much seating, not terribly clean. Just hit the drive thru and save the lounging for a bigger nicer store.
