Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Perfect shopping day when you can stop for a glass of wine and lunch! The food, service, and atmosphere were all great! I had the soup of the day, asparagus bisque with lobster meat, and half Tuscan chicken panini. I didn't leave a bite! Our server, Nina, was perfect. Highly recommended, even if you're not here for the shopping!

I used to hate coming here when I was a kid because my mother would drag me around antique shopping all day. My how the table has turned!! I love it here! You can shop for a while, grab some food and wine, get a little buzz, and continue shopping! The asparagus lobster bisque was incredible. So creamy with the perfect amount of lobster. For my main course- butternut squash ravioli topped with pumpkin pesto sauce. There are no words to properly describe how delicious that was. I love the close knit community atmosphere with the big city dish selection. Perfect break from all the chains around town :)

A local treasure! Cool atmosphere - if you have to wait to be seated, you can get a drink from the bar and look around the antique mall. Good service, great food.

This has to be one of my new favorite Italian places. It's a cute little place tucked inside the Collierville Antiques store so we have often forgotten about it. Also the hours are a bit strange so we usually can't go. We came in with a coupon from the Memphis Entertainment Book for Valentine's Day Lunch. I got the Sampler Trio with soup and hubby got a panini. I'd read on here about the Asparagus Bisque so gave it a shot. We also got an appetizer and our waiter suggested the ravioli instead of the bruschetta. The soup was AMAZING! I expected chunks of asparagus but instead it had been blended in with the soup. I could still taste it in the soup and the lobster complemented it well. The lasagna was ok (not a big fan in general) but the manicotti was good. The alfredo- OH THE ALFREDO! It was amazing! Unlike anything I had ever tasted. Hubby complained that all he could taste of the alfredo was the pesto- couldn't even taste the bacon. I had completely forgotten there even was bacon in the meal. But hey, I still loved it completely. And I will definitely be trying an alfredo recipe with pesto sometime soon! Loved: - Asparagus Bisque with Lobster Meat - Chicken Alfredo - Toasted Ravioli - Tuscan Chicken Panini Ok: - Manicotti - Sampler Trio Disliked: - Lasagna

What a hidden GEM! This is some amazing food in a really unique location. Both my wife and I cannot WAIT to return here. Make sure to call and get a reservation, as space is limited.

I am still in awe of how wonderful Ronnie Grisanti's was. My grandmother has mentioned multiple times how wonderful the little restaurant in the back of Sheffield's is, but I never imagined it to be THAT good. I was SO wrong! It's a quaint little bar and restaurant in the back of Sheffield's. The decor is bland, reminds me of an Olive Garden. I really wasn't to excited about eating here. I was with a couple of girlfriends who were just starving, so I gave in. The service was amazing and so quick. We started with wine (yes, WINE in the back of a antique mall). We listened to the specials and all three of us decided to order the lobster asparagus cream soup. OH MY, was it good. I cannot wait to go back! It's such a great little local spot hidden in Collierville!

The atmosphere in the back of an antique mall is okay, they do a good job of isolation. Our waiter Johnny was pleasant and attendant, and we found a nice Italian sparkling moscato by Bella Serra. The specials sounded great but we went with a calamari appetizer, egg plant and pollo parmesan. They were quite good, but the marinara was really thick and devoid of spice sadly. Overall they get a ,3,.and just need to add some garlic and spice, which is a sad comment for an Italian restaurant with a chef. Side note, bring your own wine because 30.00 for a 13.00 muscato is a little greedy, just saying. So, the lack of spice, little pricey items and overpriced wine gets a 3, but a higher rating would be easily attained with not a lot of tweaks. We enjoyed the food and had a very pleasant date night.

We've been wanting to try this for a long time- just forget about it being there. Inside the Sheffields antique mall is why I guess. The service was good and the food was good atmosphere was fine. I guess that mainly sums it up. It was all fine ....., but not fantastic considering lunch for 3 people with tip was $93. No dessert, only 2 ice teas to drink an entree and salad each. That seems very expensive for a lunch in this location and regular food and portion sizes. We've tried it and it was fine but won't be hurrying to spend that again.

Nice location. Working our way through Sheffield antique mall, when we were just about to leave for dinner when we noticed Grisanti's. Very quaint, non descrpit, and out of the way. We showed up 5 minutes before they opened and we're immediately seated. Small table in the corner. Waitress was out immediately for our drinks and toasted ravioli. Food was awesome. Came out quick and hot. Very attentive waitress, friendly and down to earth. Had so much couldn't finish it all. Had some garlic bread with that was excellent. Bill was a bit pricy for 2 but worth it IMHO. After we finished our mall romp we swung back by and all tables and small bar was full with a wait to get in.

I actually never thought i'd eat inside of an antique mall, but this place is by far, the best restaurant i've been to in Memphis. Yes, even better than the places i've checked in to about 30 times. I got their fresh tilapia with asparagus risotto. DELICIOUS. The last time I was there, they didn't have it so I tried the half Chicken Chipotle panini and Asparagus soup with a chili lime reduction.
