Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

I've always heard good things about this place, and decided to try it. The owner was present, and she took my order and made the pizza. She was warm and friendly, as was the place itself. Pizza was made from fresh ingredients, and was delicious. While waiting - and the wait did not take long - I spoke with a couple who were enjoying their pizza. They told me they were regular customers of this place, and that it was the best pizza in town. They might be right.

I had a stromboli that was delicious. Staff is friendly. Feels like an authentic NYC pizzaria. Good stuff! I will certainly go back because now I want to try the pizza. Fountain drink choices as well as brewed sweet and unsweet tea. Slices, sandwiches, whole pizzas, bags of chips... lots of choices!

This is a solid pizza joint. I went for lunch and had the lunch special: one slice, salad, and drink for about $7, which was a good deal. The salad was actually pretty good, and the pizza was pretty typical NY-style thin crust. It didn't blow me away, but it's pretty good.

How did I not know this gem was in Collierville. The pizza here is delicious always fresh with fresh ingredients. The guy who owns this place is really sweet and I always chat with him about NYC. . They also have amazing cannolis that they don't fill until you order them so the shell stays crispy. When I crave good pizza this is where I go.

You will not find any better pizza in Collierville! I was asked by the young girl working at the store to try the buffalo chicken pizza and I was delighted that I did. To the point that I had to get another slice to go so my wife would know what I was raving about!! Everyone that I have told about this place loves it and I will continue to go back. They have a deadly combination..Outstanding food quality + Awesome staff = Successful business!!!

My wife and I stopped in here after finding this hidden gem in Carriage Crossing. We had just relocated from New York City (by way of N. Kentucky/Cincinnati) last week and have been desperately trying to find good pizza. Well - we found it! Upon entering this establishment, there was something that seemed well...New York-ish. We saw the various pies in the case (available for those ordering by the slice), and my wife just said "be still my heart" We bellied up to the counter, and my wife just blurted out to the gentleman behind "Are you from New York?" He replied that he was (Bklyn to be exact), and I immediately followed with my order "Large pie, and and order of garlic knots to go". After watching this fine pizza artisan stretch and toss our pizza dough, it was carefully placed in the oven, the garlic knots were packaged up to go after a brief heating, and within 10 minutes, we were back in the car with our treasure. Let me tell you fellow yelpers...If you are looking for authentic New York Pizza, look no further than Milano's. This is by far the best NY Style pizza (complete with the "big as your head slices" that we have found outside of the 5 boroughs. Milano's has won customers for life, and we are looking forward to going back and trying out their white pizza.

i stopped in this location on a lunch time run to return some things at the old navy across the street. i'm not a huge fan of milano's pizza in general, but do like that i can get a slice and a drink quickly and for around $5. i like this location the most out of the others in town i've visited (wolf river blvd., winchester and highway 64). the space itself is bright and clean, the service was fast and friendly and - most importantly - my slice was delicious. the ingredients and the slice itself tasted fresh and were well proportioned. this slice did not come from a pie that had been sitting around for a few hours (big pet peeve of mine), that's for sure. it's too hot outside right now, but the patio will be awesome in the fall. it's a bit of a drive from my office, but i'll return to this location for sure.

Only moderately good pizza, although better than any other pizza joints in the area.
