Awesome place to eat. I think my family eats there once a week. They offer a lot of variety to please any diet. They are famous for their excellent burger. Fries are the best as well. My current favorite is the pineapple chicken skewers with fries. They also have live music most Sunday nights.

I've been coming to Hueys in Collierville for a long time. I've generally found it to be great pub food, with a lot of options for the whole family. Also, service tends to be on point most of the time (the staff does magical things when it gets busy). But as a bartender/server that works in town, I was pissed off about my experience at the restaurant today. After placing a to-go order over the phone I walked up to the bar and sat for a long time before I was even given a glance by several staff walking in and out of the bar area. I was literally 1 of three people sitting at the bar. A "hey I see you, I will be with you shortly" smile is all I wanted. Fine, maybe you were busy. When I pulled out my cash, I was finally seen by the bartender in a low cut top with long hair extensions, fairly young. So at least she greeted me. She was fast and prompt. When I waited on my change she ignored my held out hand and smacked it down on the bar top and walked off without a goodbye or thanks or anything. I stared after her wondering if I'd done something wrong. It seriously pained me to not leave a tip on a to-go. But I refuse to reward shitty service. Can you maybe just look me in the eye and say thanks, or come back, or can I be of anymore service? Big breasts and fake hair are kind of not going to replace good hospitality. Management, please take inventory.

Huey's is the local "bar and burger" place with a family vibe. There's a full bar, entertainment on the weekends, and plenty of tables and booths where they serve up tasty burgers. I go to this location the most as it is close to home, but all of them serve up the same quality food with fast friendly service. It is the service that makes Huey's stand out. Generally prompt service staff, food comes out quickly, and in the rare case of a problem it is quickly rectified. It's not unusual for a manager to ask you about your meal, and they really do seem to care. Burgers are the main star, with my favorite being a Smokey Melt. They also have some nice salads, a few seafood dishes, and some "oddballs" like the Tamale plate. There really should be something on the menu for everyone. Prices are quite reasonable, in particular for high quality food. In Collierville it's the best place to get a burger.

I've tried this place twice, now. The first time i ordered the French dip, which was dry and tasteless. The second time I tried the nachos, which were good, but I barely got a quarter of the way through it before my stomach turned, and I felt sick the rest of the night. If all you want is a cold beer and outdoor seating, then it's fine, Otherwise, buyer beware with the food.

Another famous Memphis staple that I find to be too pricey for the quality of their offerings and surroundings. The Collierville location is especially dingy and malodorous. Even the vinyl tablecloths and laminated menus (simple to wipe down after each party) are sticky and covered in drips and smears. The food is usually something I could do equally well or better at home for a lot less $. The drinks are watered down or taste vile because the pipes aren't clean or something about the water is off. The steak on a stick is extremely salty, though tender. There are better places to eat for a better value.

Visiting Huey's is routine for me. The atmosphere is fun and laid back. There's live music on Sunday's and the workers are always very friendly. The food service is fast and the food itself is always delicious. I love the hot wings, chicken philly, and you can never go wrong with a burger here. I also love how they have healthy alternatives. And this place has some of the best ranch in Memphis. Huey's is a great place to eat at with your family.

Sameo, sameo as all the other locations regarding menu, service, etc. However, this location is always super crowded and there are not nearly enough parking spaces in this plaza. I have had to choose another place to eat because I could not find a parking space. True story! Shout out - I LOVE their tamales with chili. Yummy awesomeness warms my soul during these cold winter days.

Love the Senior Huey, it is really the best burger in Memphis. Huey's is somewhat of a regular weekly lunch stop, but during the week, I am staying pretty heart healthy and going with the grilled tuna salad or the Mahi plate - both are great. But when it is time for a break to get spoiled, nothing hits home like the Senior Huey and a Ghost River draft. in Collierville, the staff is great, and it is always busy. If Dallas is around, she will treat you great, ask for her!

Tried the chicken salad on croissant for lunch yesterday. It was very good, with large chunks of white meat. The croissant was very fresh. The size was generous; I ate half and took half home. I didn't order any sides on this visit, but have liked the fries in the past. Our server was very friendly and pleasant. An enjoyable lunch.

Huey, one of the most overrated places in town... What about their burger is famous? Sorry, I have to ask that question. I went here with one of my friends to this Huey. Now, he's a Huey fan. In the end, he was trying to convince me that this Huey is simply not as good as the one in East Memphis, due to the staff here. So, okay, I may need to try other Huey's... I also took him to Belmont Grille on Forest Hill later, so he definitely know what I was getting at about the overrated stuff. Sure, Huey is better than backyard burgers, why I still eat here! But anyway, the location is simply run by teenagers or college students. The best time I've ever had here is when I was setting at the bar. An adult waiter makes a load of difference in service here! The phillies here are actually my favorites when I used to eat cheese. Now I have to eat the burgers and I would say that, after trying every burger on the menu, I like the classic "famous" Huey burger the best... Maybe that's why it's famous. The fries here are them thick steak fries, which goes very well with chili. I actually get a cup of chili here (no cheese) to dip the fries in. My biggest reason for eating here is convenience and them being open late.

This place is ok. I grew up coming here but since I'm not a big burger person it's not somewhere I'd go to often. I ordered takeout here and got the Low Fat Huey Burger with tomato basil vinaigrette and fried mushrooms. I wasn't fond of the vinaigrette nor the mushrooms (Zaxby's has the best fried mushrooms) but the burger was good. I've gotten their cheese fries with ranch before as well and they made me feel sick to my stomach. I've been told to try the cheese and sausage appetizer so I will have to do so next time. I will definitely be back. While I'm not fond of burgers, they're very reasonably priced here and have a nice variety. I'm sure I'll find something else I like besides the low fat one. Loved: - Grilled Chicken and Pineapple Kabob Snack - Low Fat Huey Burger - Malibu Rum with pineapple - Nachos (without meat) Ok: - Sweet Potato Fries

Ok so I came for one drink at 3... I'm sitting here now it's 4:05 I've had ONE drink and still no service or check. I am a Huey's lover, but I am so disappointed in the Collierville location today. This is interrupting me getting my drink on!

I must be missing something after reading the other reviews because I made the mistake of convincing the wife to there for dinner. The good news is the Onion Rings are awesome! That is all! The place is ridiculously loud! I was waiting for 'The What Would You Do ?' Host to come out. Who plays acid rock in a restaurant?!? Wl Huey's does. And they also leave the windows uncovered so you have a constant glare in your face even though your sitting at the back of the place. The grunge look is definitely the look of the day for the wait staff as well.

My wife & I have been back many times since my last review. Our experiences have gotten better and better. A popular neighborhood bar with way too many kids for my liking. My wife loves their burgers because she likes hers rare and they do a great job cooking your burger the way you want it. I love the grilled chicken sandwich, always cooked to perfection and never dried out. Their french fries, while plentiful, are frozen and, thus, lacking in flavor, COLD beer and a large selection of both draft and bottles. Prices are reasonable and fair. The waitstaff are friendly and efficient. We usually sit at the bar (less kids up there) and the bartender knows our favorites without asking. I have eaten at the location downtown and enjoyed it many times but this location is our neighborhood bar. Try it, you'll like it! Just don't bring your kids.

Fun pub/burger joint....with sandwiches and the other typical misc. pub type offerings. Good service, good food. The Burgers were great. they have several burgers with neat toppings. Giant onion rings. Fries...not so good. There is a laid back friendly welcoming atmosphere here. toothpick stick in the ceiling is their gimmick...but it works. While I ate dinner, Zach Randolph "Z Bo" from the Grizzlies came in to eat....he grabbed a few pics with some kids..and then got a table like everyone else. while the Bulls and Heat were playing a game in TV.

Burgers at Huey's are awesome and at least 1/2 an inch thick. If you're looking for something other than a burger, there are better places. Toothpicks in the ceiling, atmosphere and other aspects make this place feel a little "divey" but was well worth stopping in for a cheap burger.

Absolutely no difference from East Memphis Huey's. Same menu, floor plan, and toothpicks on ceiling. All this to say: good. The burgers are great, of course. They also have a wonderful Thai Chicken Salad with peanut dressing. The onion rings incredible, if not sinful. They have a good choice of appetizers, but really, the usual pub grub, which is fitting. Service on a recent Sunday after church was great - attentive, even though it was crowded. All locations are a great, casual, Memphis institution - plan to run into friends. Enjoy a burger and onion rings. And then hit the gym a few hours later.

We popped in here after the zoo for a quick lunch. We didn't realize it was a bar but the service was good and our kids didn't seem to be an issue. I ordered a drink and the bartender who was serving us didn't seem entirely knowledgable of the vodkas he had. He also brought me lemons vs limes. The waitress that took over was much better and great with our kids. We had chips and queso which were great. My husband and I shared the chicken and pineapple kabobs which were delicious and my kids had chicken and fries. Food was good all around, surprising for what I expected when we walked in.

Huey's has great bar food along with drinks. I've never seen onion rings so large in my life. They are so big and juicy, I could eat them all day. Poopsie and I ended up at Huey's in Collierville late-ish last night after the Roller Derby. We both enjoyed our meal and our drinks. They have a new kind of beer, A Huey's beer, brewed for them by Abita. It's pretty good. A little sweeter than my usual fare, bordering on the 'girlie beer' a bit. Poopsie had a burger with onion rings. Nice thing about Huey's, you can tell them exactly how you want your burger and that's how you'll get it. She likes the onion rings, I'm not a big fan. I had my usual dilemma, burger, nachos, burger, nachos, burger,.. anyway you get the picture. Nachos won. I ordered them light on the lettuce and beans and extra jalapenos. It was perfect except that nobody really understands extra jalapenos.I mean lots. Anyway, another serving about made it right. Love them jalapenos, but you feel them again about 12 hours later. Great waiter, cheery, attentive, we were well taken care of. Now for the stoopid thing. I had to finish drinking beer at 11:45. Not allowed to get another beer after that time. I could drink hard liquor until my eyes fell out, but no beer. Apparently this is a Collierville law designed to... make the town look provincial and backwards?

I love Huey's, I really do. I've been to the original, but I like this one just as much, and it's much closer to me. I've never had a bad meal here. The burgers and the club are usually what I get. The place is laid-back, consistent, and decently priced-everything I want. It can get pretty crowded here on weekend nights-so be warned!

This restaurant is one of the few places my husband will go to over and over. The food is always cooked well, the service is always spectacular and it ambiance is quite fun. The only quibble I have about Huey's is that I've been there too much and there isn't a whole lot of variety on the menu.

A decent burger place and a local chain. This is not the original location but is certainly easier to get to if you are east of midtown off of Poplar. Right over the Germantown/Collierville line on the left if you are heading east to Collierville, right at intersection of Houston Levee. Food and Service- Ok overall. Service is consistent- not great/not bad either. It is usually seat yourself and whne this place gets busy, it is crazy busy. Burgers are good and I can get mine done medium rare and it comes out that way. Onion rings are big. Grilled chicken sandwich is pretty good. DO NOT GET the fried shrimp. I admit I am a seafood snob since I grew up in Massachusetts and have eaten seafood since I was about 3. However, they were over fried and the shrimp were small. More fry than shrimp. Not worth it. I give this one a three because the food is good and consistent but not outstanding.

My family and I eat here almost every Friday, and have for a really long time. Huey's has good food, and it's clean. The service is always great as well. It's a great place to pick up some relatively quick food, and an exepensive drink.

I love Hueys! let me recommend the Hot Wings for and appetizer! the chicken Philly sandwich is also a great choice! The cheesburgers and fries are good here as well. Fun/laid back atmosphere. I like to eat here atleast every couple of weeks!
