I've now been to this place 3 times for dinner and can honestly say it's my new favorite Italian restaurant in Memphis metro. The location is cozy and charming, in an old house by the railroad on the Collierville Square. The atmosphere is elegant yet casual. I find the service to be consistently friendly, professional, and very focused. The menu has a variety of Italian options, with my favorite being the pizza. 3 people can split one of the large pizzas. And the salads are big. They can be split too. They have wine but no liquor. Usually I'd deduct a star if I can't have my martini apertif, but this place is too good.

I just don't get it. The building is charming, and, sadly, that's really all I didn't regret about my decision to try this. For the prices, one should expect a much higher quality from the food than I experienced. We started with the bruschetta and the artichoke dip. The bruschetta was made on stale toast rounds...with CANNED tomatoes, rather than fresh!!! It was warm and unpleasant. The artichoke dip was warm and gooey and lacked flavor. For my entree I chose the blue crab ravioli, which was really disappointing. The crab was sparse. The homemade pasta was cooked slightly shy of al dente, which resulted in a chewy weirdness that I'd prefer to never experience again. And the Alfredo sauce was salty and strange, more like an ultra-creamy béchamel with a hint of Parmesan than a traditional Alfredo sauce. The bottom line: nothing special and the price isn't right for just "meh."

The restaurant itself is really cute and homey. It's like your sitting in your own home eating dinner. Service was great and their food was pretty good as well. I really liked their toasted meat ravioli as I have never eaten that before. Overall, great service , nice atmosphere, and good food.

Tried Cafe Piazza a second time and honestly it's such a shame...the service is excellent and the restaurant itself is charming but the food is just ok...the first time my wife and I dinned there my pasta was undercooked. The second visit was just like the first. Had the smoked chicken ravioli and a side of meatballs. The meatballs were very good and the marinara sauce was good but the ravioli was undercooked taking al dente to a new level. The chicken stuffing was very dry. I know they make their own pasta but this was like machine made out of a bag...sorry. My wife had a chicken panini which also was very disappointing. The chicken was very dry and the sandwich was bland. I will say, once again, that the service is outstanding and the atmosphere is very comfortable and romantic...great place for a date or night out with your significant other. The pizza looked good and many of the entrees we watched coming out of the kitchen looked good as well. They're worth a try.

We shared a salad and the Smoked Chicken with Ravioli; it was very good. During the meal, we added the Bread Sticks filled with cheese accompanied with sauce. The Bread was good, but actually the bread that came with the meal, seemed to have better flavor. The sauce with the bread was extremely hot, burn the mouth type temperatures, had hoped they would regulate that better. Completed the meal with a Berry Cobbler, it was very good, would do it again. On our next visit, we will probably go down the Pizza route, with the Salad once more.

Amazing !! Came here with my date and I fell in love with the homemade meatballs and spaghetti. Had meatballs elsewhere but these are something else. And I don't remember the name of the dessert but it was chocolate and raspberry? Melt in your mouth goodness!

Hubby used to work here so I came to visit him with my sister once. It's this really cool and adorable little place just off the Historic Collierville Towne Square. We really weren't impressed. It's a really cute place and I really wanted to like it, but I just wasn't impressed with the food and neither was my family. It's just ok and it's a bit expensive for the quality. I doubt we will try this place again simply because my entire family had bad experiences at different times and there are just so many other pizza places in the area. It's a beautiful place and the atmosphere is just gorgeous but it's a shame the food does not match the quality of the decor.

Service is excellent, food is k to good. Appetizer I had the Brioche and wow that was delicious! I wish I had ordered more for my dinner instead of the lobster ravioli. Lobster ravioli was extremely fishy tasting and it was like biting into crunchy shells sometimes.

I just got back from a date night at Cafe Piazza, and wasn't disappointed. To start, we had the crab& artichoke dip, which was great. It was creamy, but not obnoxiously cheesy. The bread was also excellent. For the main course, I got the Southwestern pizza, and would recommend it. The pizza itself is very good: think crust and crunches. It's not greasy at all. The toppings were tasty, as well. My girlfriend had a salad, which was good, but unremarkable. For dessert, we had the banana pudding was cake, which is exactly what it sounds like: cake with banana pudding on top. It was fantastic, very moist with real bananas, not just flavoring. The only downside was a not-so-great table right by the door, which took away from the atmosphere a little. All in all, it's a great local restaurant serving some great food!

This restaurant is located in a house on thr Collierville square. It is kind of nice inside, but I also felt like the floors were not quite level. The food was Italian based. We had an artichoke dip and anti pastas platter for starters. Bother were excellent. Then we had a pizza (not so good...hard cracker like crust....my son described it as the complete oposite of Chicago style pizza...and not in a good way). Then we had dessert. Terimisu and Millionaire Cake. These were both pretty good too.The service was good. This place was kind of pricey. If I ever come back I will not get the pizza.

My friend and I had a great experience here. We had vegetable pizza with pesto, spaghetti with meatballs, and chocolate caramel cheesecake. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was charming, and the service was outstanding.

Delicious artichoke crab meat dip! Enjoyed the albacore salad as well. Nice little spot on the town square. Stop and stroll and then enjoy lunch here.

Our first time at Cafe Piazza and everything from service, to atmosphere, to food is five star. We highly recommend this place!

The food is good but a little bit heavy for my liking. I had the crab cake panini and it was just too rich. Pizzas are tasty but unless you get a lunch special they can be pricey. decent sized piece of cake though, couldn't get through even a third of it.

This place is a little jewel right off of the Collierville Town Square. Last saturday my mother and I had lunch here after we had gotten our nails done. I have been here before with my family for dinner so this was not my first time to eat at this quaint place. It was such a treat to eat here with my mother. We both enjoyed a glass of wine while we waited on our meal. We both ordered the roasted red pepper and gouda bisque soup. Let me just tell you...it was to die for!! It was the BEST soup I have had in quit sometime. I was sad when it was all gone. When I get sad when my food is gone, I know I love it and want more! So good. We shared the Piazza pizza. We were going to get our own pizza but so glad we shared. One of their pizza's is enough for two people. We ate it all! It was so delicious. I highly recommend this place and can not wait to go back for more!

This was one of my favorite restaurants in Collierville, however I can no longer support a business whose owner has no sense of customer service and who drives his patrons away. I'm getting married, and we are having a very small ceremony. Because this restaurant holds special value to my fiancé and me, we wanted to have a group of 10 here for dinner after the ceremony. The owner declined our request for a reservation even after explaining how we chose this place specially. He said we would sit too long. Let's not forget that we would be spending tons of money on food and alcohol and would be spreading the word, but no. He was ugly and rude on the phone, and I suggest no one goes to this restaurant anymore and instead go somewhere you as a paying customer are appreciated.

Very cozy atmosphere, as if you were right at home! The restrooms are clean and well-kept. Staff is very friendly. Although a bit pricey, the food is delicious. Especially the desserts, I would highly recommend the tiramisu or cannoli. Overall, I would absolutely come back!

my husband and i love this place! we were so pleased with ourselves the first time we found it, but apparently the secret has been out for some time! highly recommend the meatball pizza. it's the sort of manfood a woman stabs her husband over. also delightful is the spinach artichoke dip, Parmesan peppercorn dressing, and all of the desserts. weak links in our opinion have been the crab ravioli and mozzarella breadsticks. decent wine list, and Stella is on draft. staff is very friendly and welcoming. be prepared for a wait during prime hours on weekends. it's nice to see local businesses thriving in the suburbs!

Food and service are good. The only problem with this establishment is the lack of space to stand or sit while waiting to be seated - and waits can be long during busy time. The restaurant also offers carry-out which may be easier than waiting sometimes.

I took the wife out on a date night...... The atmosphere was nice, service good, food was good, the waiter share my name so easy to remember always a plus, and a overall good experience. Parking can use an upgrade. The crust of the pizza was so thin but supportive and tasty. Wanted to try some of the apps, but soon realized they run out of things fast. We will be back to try more and enjoy ourselves. Try it!

Great food. Great service. Warm setting. Had the bleu salad and added grilled chicken. Artichoke/crab dip is great, too. Will return.

Adorable, unassuming, and peaceful place to lunch. Lot's of natural light, jazz, and the owners make up part of the wait staff which makes the place more home-y and special. The artichoke dip is delicious and so are the salads! Definitely a good place to be if you want to eat clean and light

The food was very good, they in fact customised the pesto afredo fettucini pasta for us. How sweet!

I can only speak of their salad and pizza, but what else do you need? This is such a cozy little restaurant with a friendly staff. Try to get a table in the front and hope for a train to pass by.

I took a friend for a birthday dinner. The service was very good. I wish I could say the same for the food.. Because it was her birthday, I didn't say anything, but called the next day and talked to the owner about my disappointment with the food. I was promised he would send a gift certificate so that we could try again. Still waiting for that 6 months later. Guess it isn't coming. I really hate that because I wanted to go back and try again. It was a nice atmosphere. We had pasta and I wished later we had tried the pizza. The only thing more upsetting than the food was being told a lie.

Whenever I'm traveling, I check for good local pizza places, and I really enjoyed Cafe Piazza. They have a great menu, and it's upscale without being uncomfortable. The service was average, and it did seem like the food took a little longer to get to the table than at a chain restaurant. But it's not a chain, and the food was definitely a reminder of that. The pizza is a thin crust but well done, and the different cheeses available made them stand out. Wish I had room for dessert, but maybe next time.

The food was delicious, and the restaurant was cozy. The service was stellar. I was hugely impressed at how accommodating they were for our catering order. Made sure we had everything we needed and called afterwards to make sure all went okay. Very nice people, and I would definitely visit/do business with them again!

This restaurant was fantastic! First of the restaurant itself is in a beautiful old house. Beautiful large windows, white table clothes, the decor was perfect. I could very much see the decor of this restaurant be photographed and repinned over and over on Pintrest. Our server was extremely personable, fun and helpful. My dinner party order a bottle of white zinfandel and all had different Italian entrees. I serious recommend this restaurant.

I wouldn't label this restaurant as pizza. It's Itallian. They have a lot more besides pizza and sandwiches. The food is excellent as well as the service. It's located in a former house. It almost feels like having dinner at a friend's or relative's home.

Why can't this be closer to my house?!?! When I think of the best pizza I've had in Memphis, this is definitely the meal I remember. It's an old house converted into a restaurant but they don't take reservations so if you try on a Friday/Saturday - you may have a wait. It was definitely worth it for us - we had two pizzas and two deserts along with wine and beers and it was great! I highly recommend it if you are in the area!

With its cozy atmosphere, Cafe Piazza is a delightful place to dine. Overlooking the town square of Collierville, the views from the front room add an extra special ambiance. Cafe Piazza has speciality pizzas, panina sandwiches, salads and pasta dishes. I've eaten there about half a dozen times and have loved the food and dining experience every single time. The pizzas are a homemade, thin crust (edges are almost cracker-like in crunchy texture). My positively favorite pizza is the Polo Alfredo. It has alfredo sauce, generous strips of grilled chicken, portabella mushrooms, sundried tomatoes and of course, cheeses. The flavors blend to make a wonderful taste sensation! This restaurant also has the BEST artichoke dip on the planet! I definitely recommend this restaurant!
