Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Food was good but definitely not the best place in town. Seemed to be higher prices than other places in town also for the exact same thing. Biggest complaint was the service. Took a few min for somebody to deliver chips and salsa and then a couple more min for somebody to take drink orders. Also forgot a couple of things we had to ask again for and also what drinks we ordered and had to come back to ask again. But overall not a bad place to eat but won't be my first stop if wanting Mexican food.

This is an update of a previous review. O.K. Maguey is still our favorite Mexican Restaurant to eat. They have reduced the amount of Jalapeño peppers they put in their salsa so it is now favorable with just a little kick. We have discovered that Seniors can order off of the children's menu and save $$$. There is a limited selection, but good portions. It was enough to satisfy both of us. If you haven't been here yet, give them a try. I don't think you will be disappointed. When I went to checkout I saw a sign that informs their customers they now offer catering.

Still good, but sadly most people around here dislike real spice so the salsa is now more bland. Service was very spotty. They were indeed busy and this seemed to throw them off. I ordered the veggie fajitas, but fajitas without tortillas is just a pile of grilled veggies. I waited and finally asked another server for the tortillas. She brought me out two of the smallest flour tortillas I have ever seen. Sigh....

I'm not saying that it is bad. Because it wasn't. But I wasn't super impressed. If you want run of the mill Mexican food, then you won't be disappointed. But don't think that they will rock your world. The food is typical Mexican restaurant. Not bad, just not memorable. There are better options in the area if you just need a Mexican food fix.

Not one of the best in town. Being at the mall this place can get slammed at times by movie crowds, which can overwhelm the service staff. So beware. The staff works hard to get you through fast. Not a fan of their chips and salsa. Chips are thin and salsa too spicy for my taste. But I do prefer very mild or no spice so depends on your taste. Both of us had the chimichanga which was ok

Ok I don't how to rate this one. It's in a brand new building and they just relocated to it new spot in the food court that are working on. We sat at the window where you can see across the mall where another new restaurant,
