Decided to try this place out with my girlfriend in hopes of finding a good hibachi style cuisine. She ordered a house salad to start off with and could not even finish it due to how bad it tasted. She typically loves ginger dressing, but said it tasted more like onion sauce with a hint of ginger. When we told the waitress she wouldn't remove it from our ticket, but instead responded with a "well other people like it" comment. For entrees I ordered the shrimp and steak combo with fried rice. The steak tasted like a cheap low-grade flank steak with subpar seasoning. She had the chicken combo with fried rice and could not finish the meal before becoming ill. About 20 minutes after eating my entree I too became sick to my stomach. We spent the rest of a beautiful sunny day laying in bed sick as dogs. How the hell Steven L. came up with 5 stars is a bafflement to us (;

After trying a few other dishes and going during busier hours I have found the food to be much better and fresher.

My Favorite is the Pad Thai! I could eat here every single day of the year and love it!

Love this place. The food has always been great. It is great to finally have a place in Cleveland that serves Thai food. I have been waiting for years for a place like this to open. This place is always packed during lunch time. I have never had a bad experience at this restaurant. It is also quick which is great at lunch time. The owners remember me every time that I go to eat. They have also always been very friendly and have also offered to make any Thai dish even if it isn't on the menu.

Good looking place on the inside. Wait service was not impressive. Maybe it was her 1st job. Kitchen was quick to fill the order. But with the size of the plate it shouldn't have took long. Taste was OK. But I've had better.

When you are in a hurry at lunch and want some good food quickly, this is the place to go. The food is excellent. I have been many times and have tried many different dishes. They have all been very good. You can't beat the price either.

The food is great, service is fast and friendly, place is clean, prices are outrageously affordable! Definitely will come here again. Try the RAD-NAH, it's good. And if you like your sweet tea really sweet, this place is the real deal. You'll have to bring some insulin for that sugar spike, you don't need to be diabetic.

The place looks really small in the front, at the end of the small strip mall. In fact I missed it going down the road and had to double back. Signage is a little confusing, I was not sure if the signs leaning against the front outside were in the process of being hung, or if that was the normal thing. Inside was nice. I would suggest they get rid of the Coca Cola hanging lamps, as they do not match, and instead use inexpensive Japanese paper lamps. It would make the place look much better. Also spend a little time cleaning the floors, chairs. Just my 2 cents. Looking for vegan or vegetarian, we wanted to try this place (I saw menu pics on their facebook site... I do not think they have a webpage). facebook.com/fujiteriyak… On their facebook you can see pics of the menus. I noted that they offer tofu in their Thai dishes and they have vegetable spring rolls. So cool. I wish they had other Japanese dishes we could eat, but the options were limited. The rolls are cheap, at $1.00 each. And they are very tasty and were served blazing hot fresh from the oil. But they are small. Order two. I think even if small, at that price they are a good deal. Nice peppery taste. When we ordered, we told the server we wanted it hot... at first she did not believe us, which means it will be mild. But they did make the food thai hot and it was spicy and good. She also brought out more ground peppers we could add. I noted they have Siracha, and Chili Oil and a few other things including some creamy sauce. We ordered the green curry with tofu and the drunken noodles with tofu. Strangely, the curry dish was surprisingly small (and I am not one to really uprate restaurants that serve huge dishes). But it was ins a small bowl and served with a good amount of rice. Now for me, this is how I would eat it at home. Lots of white rice and a little bit of the curry dish. But be aware if you want more. On the other hand, the drunken noodles was a huge plate. The food was good. Drunken noodles had a nice slightly smoky taste with a good mix of mushrooms (wish there were more of those!) and bell peppers, onions, carrots. Note if vegan, the noodles include egg and you will want to ask for no egg. For me, the sweet tea was way to sweet. I know some people like it like this. All in all, a pretty good option in Cleveland. I am not sure if it is really just 3 stars or maybe should be bumped up to 4. I will go back and try Fuji again.

After trying various things on the menu, I have to say that I find some of the Japanese food to be a little lackluster (maybe this is just my taste) but it seems a bit bland. This is the only reason I could see justifying putting 4 instead of 5 stars. If, however, you are in the mood for Thai food, come here! Pad Thai, drunken noodle, Thai fried rice, Pho, these are all outstanding dishes. I have never once left this place hungry, and they never disappoint if you want something hot. Oh, and by the way, the white sauce? It's the best in town. Best I've ever had, in fact. I've heard the owner makes it herself. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and delicious food (not to mention, you can normally eat your fill for around $10.) What's not to like? I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone. 5 stars. Try the Pad Thai or drunken noodle if it's your first time.

This restaurant is nicer than I thought. It's bigger inside than it looks when pulling up. The food items are at reasonable prices as I got the chicken combo for just $5.48. I would get it with sweet tea. The amount of food for the value price ranks high here. I will be back.
