We had stopped visiting Waffle House restaurants after a stop at one in Tempe. To begin with we had noticed prices jumped big time on their menus. Well, at least on the one we visited in Arizona. However, not so at this place. The food was good as was the service. So, maybe we'll be stopping at other Waffle House restaurants too. Not really too much to say about a Waffle House. Other than a price change here and there, the food and service is pretty much the same I think. This was a typical Waffle House.

Went to here for the first time. We walked right in and sat down. Waited about 5 mixtures before anyone actually saw us. The waitress took our drink orders the came back took the food orders. In no time she came back with out food. I was very surprised it was actually pretty good. I had the cheese burger with hash browns. I usually don't get hash browns but I figured I would give them a try. Boy was I glad that I did they was the best I ever had. I would definitely come back here and the staff was excellent best service I had in a long time.

We arrived around 10:00am and the place was packed. We waited for about 2 minutes and got our table fairly quick. We ordered right away since we already knew what we wanted. The order came out extremely fast and accurate. The lady had great customer service skills, refills, taking plates out of the table as we finish with them. Absolutely the best service I got in clarksville so far, and it came from a Waffle House, second by Olive Garden. I was amazed at how they were able to serve so many customers at that speed. I woke up craving waffles so we had The All Star Special, a little bit of everything. Good service is hard to find now days, so when you find that you need to encourage it (Tip).

There must be a golden rule to waffle house and that is to never order steak there. I ordered an 8 oz ribeye medium rare at this waffle house. I see them take the frozen steak out of the freezer, and they quickly cooked it. The istant that I saw my steak, I knew that it was undercooked. It was brown on the outside and raw in the inside. The only reason I am giving this place a 2 star is because the waitress seemed like she cared that I got my food how I wanted it. She took the steak from my plate and recooked it. The steak came back, and it was still undercooked. The eggs were rubbery and greasy. I will never come back to any waffle house again. The people there are nice, but the food is poorly prepared.

I won't give more than 3 stars to a Waffle House but this is probably the best Waffle House in the Clarksville area. I know that it sounds like being the valedictorian of summer school but honestly there's always a 'good' Waffle House in town that's cleaner, the service is better and the food is better. This is that Waffle House and for some strange reason my sister thinks that no trip to the south is complete until a trip to the Waffle House has been made, preferably late at night, preferably drunk. Well, 2 out of 3 isn't bad and they also put country gravy on hash browns 'all the way' now. When did they do this? But more importantly, WHY did I choose to eat hash browns all the way with country gravy?

Wafflehouse's are the best. breakfasts. ever. Destination place whenever im in the south. This one i have frequented numerous times. Friendly, simple, folk lookin for a hardy meal. I try and watch my figure...even when at waffle houses. I get the chees grits with diced (raw) tomatoes. weird, yes, but also extremely delicious and easy on the stomach. If you've never been to a waffle house...go.

Good food, not a fan of the omelets however. What makes this place better than most, are the people who work here, they made me feel right at home..
