Sushi California is definitely a great place to eat and very busy during lunch. Had a lot of different stuff here. Good variety on the menu: sushi, sashimi, udon, chirashi, I think katsu as well. This is my second favorite Japanese restaurant in town. The main man, the head chef in the back knows what he's doing. The rice is awesome just wow. Pros: huge variety, sushi rice is great, good prices, Cons: no alcohol, smaller restaurant really packed at lunch. Extremely great place to eat. I'd recommend it to any one that wants the best sushi at the best price.

First meal in Clarksville. After reviewing Yelp and filtering by highest reviews, Sushi California came out on top. Arrived 30 minutes before the place closed, and the sushi and fried rice was amazing...so yummy!

Sushi is good, miso soup is better. Been a few times and can't complain. Service was good and fairly quick.

Nice place to have a relaxing lunch or dinner. The food is good and the lady that does the waitressing is really sweet.
(4)Sara D.
My husband and I went and absolutely loved it!! So freakin yummy!! We had the golden bridge roll, the half moon and the power roll. All awesome!
(4)Cristian S.
This place is awesome. It's serves the food fast and the staff is amazing. The only con is that it is pricey, but your paying for quality, trust me it's worth it.

Yum! This is a great spot for lunch with coworkers I've been there at least a dozen times and have never been let down. I usually order the California roll and Veggie roll combo with extra ginger and was so impressed when the waitress remembered this on my third visit! The waitstaff is always friendly and the actual facility and bathroom is very clean. I'm a loyal fan.

I have tried just about every sushi place on Ft Campbell Blvd and nothing beats this place. The food is very good and always consistent. I love the place, it has a cozy atmosphere and one of the owners is always there to make sure we are satisfied with our meal. There were a few times that I had gone in with both of my kids and she went to great lengths to make sure that they were happy.

I love the food here! It's so delicious and the atmosphere is nice. My husband and I go here all the time. Sadly miso soup is only served free at lunch time (I think). I would recommend this place to anyone!

The restaurant is very pretty and calm. It feels perfect for a date or a little family dinner. The servers are very kind and attentive. Always ready to answer my questions. The only reason I'm giving 3stars us because the sushi is nothing out of this world, it tastes very average. Especially the pricey ones, they don't taste as great having a high price. That's why I just eat the simple rolls whenever I come here to save the money because the roll is not worth that money in my opinion. The lower prices sushi rolls match up to the price, such as the Philadelphia roll- $4.35. I like this roll, it's very simple and straight to the point and great with some spicy mayo sauce.
(3)Chantel S.
I come here often on my lunch break. Food is good and filling. Service is great! Close to post so they're generally busy! With that being said, it doesn't take long at all to get your food! I always get sushi, seaweed salad and a sweet tea! Can't beat their lunch prices! 2 sushi rolls, and soup or salad for 7.99!
(4)Aaron F.
Moderate selection of sushi, not great. Good quality food that's a bit nicer than the standard buffet. Good for lunch, better options for dinner.
(3)Codie C.
Surprisingly good. Delicious food, nice staff and great service (but the place was empty since we went during the ice storm). Fujiyama is still #1 Clarksville sushi (wider sushi roll selection) but this place definitely is competition. The rolls do not disappoint. We had the hurricane roll, Philadelphia, and salmon (can't remember exact name but it was a "special roll"). We also ordered some noodles (again, sorry, don't exactly know what it's called the waitress kinda just brought it). Everything was yummy! The salmon was supa fresh. We ended up loving the noodles. Definitely a better tasting Asian food restaurant. And if you live in Clarksville, you know there are many. We will definitely be going back.

I had never tried this place before, but I decided to give it a try. I placed an order for pick up over the phone and the lady I spoke with was extremely nice. I ordered udon soup made spicy and an Apache roll. My husband picked up the order and commented to me that the place looked really nice and the staff was really friendly. The food was wonderful! The soup was great and spicy as ordered and the Apache roll was wonderful. We will definitely be frequenting this establishment!
(5)Kyla P.
It's Korean influenced Japanese food. Yakiniku tastes like bulgogi too me. Other than that, I enjoyed dining here.
(4)Davong X.
Average sushi place. Decent for the area. This place would be out of business if it was in California.
(3)Andria C.
I wasn't pleased with our meal at all. The sushi was just okay. I enjoy dipping my sushi in a sweet and sour sauce or something similar and they had nothing alike. The teryaki chicken wasn't great either and the fried rice was the least appealing I have ever had.
(2)Chad H.
I did not know this place even existed. I'm so glad it does. All the other places cost too much, or force you to eat in some weird atmosphere that is not comfortable. I love this place. Even when I made a mistake filling out my sushi menu they gave me what I wanted and did not charge me for the mistake. Awesome!!! Prices are as to be expected. This sushi is beautiful. The people very nice. Five stars!
(5)D C.
Very good sushi. The sushi rice is good, which plays as important as the fish. Would go back again.
(4)Roque T.
This place is great, intimate atmosphere. But the chef is amazing, his rice for the sushi is something to be experience. The menu isn't complicated and try anything on the menu it's all tasty. The food you eat here is like a great show when it's over you want more. 5 stars isn't enough for This great restaurant
(5)Renee Q.
First time here. Really enjoyed it. Inside is really nice and open. Staff was really friendly and helpful. We ordered a variety of rolls. Best: tuna roll salmon roll spicy tune crunchy shrimp Worst: salmon skin (mushy for some reason) Good but overpriced: Shrimp tempura rainbow roll
(4)Lavon E.
Great place! One of the few gems in the Clarksville/ fort Campbell area. Everything I've tried is delicious and made fresh! My favorites are their sushi and shrimp fried rice!
(5)Joline P.
The waitress we met was nice but overloaded with work. They are understaffed at the moment so I cannot comment negatively against the poor service; I like to think of myself as an understanding individual. I cannot, however, say anything for the sushi. This is all my husband and I purchased when we came here. We ordered the spicy tuna roll, power roll, philadelphia roll and kamikaze roll. All of our rolls had rice falling off of the nori as if it were rushed in the making, the spicy tuna rolls especially were intensely squeezed and very, very chewy as if they were sitting out for a long period of time before given to us... we were given our food after two other people had come in and been seated as well as given their food... so that explains that? Literally the only sushi roll that was keeping its form was the power roll and I'm assuming that may have something to do with it being deep-battered and fried? I've been to both this restaurant and Kohana and I can say there's no comparison in service, food or decor. I was hoping it would be at least up to par because of the convenience in location since we live on base but I was unfortunately let down. It may just be this time but also may just be a preference in taste.

Simple, Elegant , Delicious . From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. Each plate , bowl and sushi platter is prepared with the out most care and elegance by a true professorial who takes pride in his culinary art. I have yet to order a dish that has disappointed my taste buds. Fair prices and portions that never leave me wanting continue to bring me back to this fine establishment. Good for a quick lunch but better for a relaxing dinner while I listen to asian instrumental renditions of The Beatles anthology TL;DR: Chill place , good food
(5)Courtnee T.
This is a nice place. A quiet intimate setting. The waitstaff is very nice and the place is very clean. I usually don't eat sushi just anywhere but I took a chance and it paid off. The miso soup has huge flavor and the sushi is fresh and taste great. Have been here at least 3 times in the last 3 weeks.
(4)Hailey D.
For the location and what it appeared to look like, it was pretty decent. The price was reasonable, and service was alright. My friend had a lunch box and I had two kinds of rolls. She said the lunch box here wasn't as good as the one from Sakura's. Rolls were just about the same. For a quick lunch, it's not so far from the base, I see myself going there a few times a month.
(3)Jimmy M.
Not the best sushi bar that I have been to but for this area it is outstanding!!! The food was great, the wait staff were awesome, and the atmosphere was very nice. Especially for being in Oak Grove, KY. I definitely recommend it to anyone.
