I've been here several times with friends and family and we've always had excellent food. I appreciate the variety of meat-free options and the desserts are wonderful. Well worth the wait if you get there when it's crowded.

Food: I had a bite of the spinach sandwich and it was good but not great. Given the price I was expecting more. I will say their pastries are divine.....and I enjoyed a regular German Coffee. Maybe I need to explore the menu a bit more.... Ambiance: I love the set up and homey feeling this venue provided. It felt like grandmas country home. Customer Service: Horrible, this may be the reason why I never give this place a second chance. The cashier was grumpy, and almost berated me for calling a pastry the wrong name. Friendly staff can make all the difference.

Silke's has great german dishes. I am more a fan of their cakes and pastries. They are delicious and not a sweet as our American cakes and pastries. The prices are a bit high, but well worth it.
(4)Tony F.
German style breads and pastries. Full service restaurant with a small take area that we did. Had their breakfast sandwich- egg, ham and cheese. That was full of favor. The apple strudel was something that puts a smile on your face as soon as it enters your mouth. Great German coffee too.
(5)Theresa M.
I had Phillip's salad. Not much in the way of meat, but I really like the quality of the salad. The bread is fresh and had an awesome taste and texture to it. The coffee that I had with my meal was excellent. I asked for the largest and strongest they had-- I needed a little extra for the day. A touch of chocolate in the coffee with a splash of creamer and 2 packets of Stevia? Amazing German coffee. My friends and I got there too late to look through their cakes and pasteries, but they did have some chocolates in the dining area. I'd go back if I were to revisit Clarksville. :-)
(5)Vickie W.
Exellent!
(5)H T.
Good enough coffee...I was hoping to enjoy food also, but when I arrived, I was turned off by the fact that no one in the cafe' who was preparing food appeared to be wearing gloves. Maybe I'm a germ phobe, but it just grosses me out to see people assembling sandwiches bare-handed. Perhaps they wash their hands well and often... I just wasn't willing to stay to find out.
(2)Laila G.
The breads are absolutely delicious and the best in town. The soups and bread bowls are always a good choice and the tiny children's one is adorable! The very best part of this shop is the kids play area in the cafe. Perfect spot to have coffee and let the kids move around without getting in the way. I also met my closest 'mom friend' here so of course it's a great spot for families. Go! Service is friendly but a bit disorganized and slow.
(4)Sydney W.
Phenomenal. More all-natural than just about any other food in town. A great kids play place. All around, one of my favorites.
(5)Collin D.
Took my German wife. She was skeptical at first because of all the cheap imitation German restaurants, but was impressed with all the bread and desserts made authentic, that you can even order to take home. I recommend it as well.
(5)Candice C.
Their soup in the bread bowl was excellent! I got the veggie sandwich. The best part is their fresh bread. The sandwich was ok. They use iceberg lettuce (a pet peeve of mine) and it could have used condiments of some kind. The hubs got the fromage sandwich with lots of cheese and spinach on focaccia bread. His was better than mine. The lady at the register was very friendly and the service was pretty quick. The desserts looked amazing! We will certainly be back!
(3)Kelly N.
One of Clarksville's best places as far as homey atmosphere and quality of the baked goods. My husband and I have discovered the Mediterranean sandwiches which are delicious and now we get them every time. The fruit is always fresh. The lattes can be a bit sweet, pastry is delicious. I didn't care for a vegan cupcake that I tried on a whim, it was kind of hard to cut through, but I'm chalking it up to the types of ingredients they must use to make it vegan. The breads in the bakery section are delicious, especially the harvest seed rolls, the cheese/poppy sticks and the rosemary bread. My favorite pastry is the cherry cheese danish. The parking lot gets packed fast. Very kid and family friendly.
(5)Morgan S.
I am vegan and it's definitely a struggle to find restaurants in Clarksville that serve vegan food. BUT Silkes does! I had their black bean burger and it was AMAZING. loaded with veggies and super yummy. I also had the chocolate cherry crumble cake which is also vegan and delicious. LOVE. new favorite restaurant.
(5)Patrick S.
Pastries are awesome. Sweet people run this place- pun intended!
(4)Patrice E.
I keep coming back every year. Just recently July 2015. STILL GREAT!! Love this place. OMG and the Vegan cupcakes. I am NOT vegan. I eat anything. But all they had left was a vegan lemon cupcake, I went late in the day & they sell out fast! Man I hesitantly got the cupcake. MMM so good I came back the next day for another! LOVE THEM.

Silkes is one of my favorite places in all of Clarksville, and mainly because of; 1. Their coffee. 2. Their bread. As a European living in the U.S., I crave these two more than anything, since it can be ridiculously hard to find a decent espresso and some REAL bread. Silkes gives me both. Food is absolutely divine, but the coffee is the best part. I warmly recommend their German coffee as well as their espresso, which was very rich and intense; just the way I like it. The atmosphere is very "grandma's summerhouse", which I thoroughly enjoy. Pictures and paintings on the walls are very pretty and contributes to the whole European feeling! Service can be very good and very bad, it really depends on who's there that day. I've been met with both heartwarming smiles and grumpy faces. I've tried a lot of different things from their menu, my favorites being the vegan breakfast delight, the apple/brie-sandwich and their chocolate truffles. A HUGE plus for having a lot of vegetarian and vegan options, something rare in this part of the United State. And like I said; don't miss out on the coffee. Just don't.
(5)JD C.
Want a classic German bakery? This is the place! I've never had the sandwiches and lunch foods, but love the desserts and coffee. It's a great place to get a whole birthday cake, specialty pies, and a german brew of coffee. We will return!
(4)Ashley L.
My husband and I love to try new places so to Silkes we went! First impression of walking in the door, it smelt so good! Just like fresh home cooking. The place was packed and there was a bit of a line, but to me that's a good thing thinking that this place must be that good. Indeed it was! I had the Greek salad and it was divine! Definitely fresh ingredients, the feta was perfect! My husband had the German sandwich and he liked it a lot! We def want to come back and especially when it gets cooler here to try their soups in a bread bowl!
(5)Larry G.
OMG! This is a great place to stop n get a bite. The service was awesome and so is the food. Good old fashion German food. Yummy. You have to try the Almond coffee. Mmmmm
(4)Shelly R.
Their pizza is amazing! Took a bit to come to the table but was well worth it! The workers are extremely sweet also. We actually talked for a little and played with my baby. They also have a children's area so parents get a break. Definitely will return soon to try the sweets!
(5)Adrian B.
Amazing food! Feels like Grandma's kitchen all over again. I highly recommend.
(4)Starry R.
I grew up in Germany in the late 50's and early 60's. Silke's gives me back those great memories.
(5)Anthony C.
Silke is one of those places that once you eat it, you will crave it, and no matter how far you sail the seven seas, you just will not find a place like it. Everything tastes so fresh. The bread is normally fresh out of the over. The sandwiches do not shy away from serving size either like most places. I challenge you to eat more then one more sandwich. They even have pizza that is made from the awesome dough that they use for the large varieties of different bread they have there. The only complaint I can possibly complain about it the slight language barrier here, but that to me makes it more authentic. I don't want some Asian dude selling me German food and vice verse. My favorite thing about this place is you can build up your sandwich however you want it. If you dont go here while your in town, you are missing out my friends.
(5)Christian G.
This place is really great! The staff is all friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the food is damn good. I've gotten cakes, rolls, breads, sweets, and pizza dough here, and I have started coming here for all of my day old bread needs (french toast/bread pudding). There is very little I like about Clarksville, but I truly enjoy coming here and will do so for the rest of the time I live here.
(4)Jessica M.
Good doesn't even begin to describe Silke's. Everything I have eaten here is wonderful. The dressing for the Greek salad is a favorite. I also love their pizzas. They are thin with a perfectly crisp crust and the cheese is pleasantly creamy. The sweets and pastries are out of this world. I have never been to Germany but have been told by many who have that Silke's is as authentic as it gets. Try the bee sting!
(5)Dan A.
Excellent find. Great tasting breads and a better selection of unbelievable deserts, the best since I left NY
(4)Yolanda B.
I love everything here. The deli has got new delicious dishes like the CVC if you are vegetarian, sandwiches for meat lovers, breads and desserts. The restaurant has soups with bread bowls, pizzas, salads, sandwiches, desserts, etc. The german coffee is so good. Everyone here is wonderful and the owner is so sweet and a wonderful artist. A must see and eat place.
(5)Mjg Y.
Very lovely, authentic little place.
(5)Lacy S.
Best local eatery in the Clarksville area! We love the sandwiches and the pizza!! Took my family here when they came to visit and everything was amazing! I also buy the bread for our weekly needs. Atmosphere is clean, and friendly! The sour kraut pizza is by far my favorite, but we've tried many things on the menu and never once didn't like something! Recommended to all who move to the area!
(5)Simone P.
Love the pastries here. Reminds me of being in Munich.
(5)Amanda M.
This place was authentic. The food was good (they were out of what I wanted so I got my second choice). The desserts were good too. We ate it first while we waited for our sandwiches to be made. The seating is limited, but they get people in and out quickly. They also have a small children's area to play.
(5)Tamara F.
Love this place, great menu and vegetarian selections
(5)Ted C.
I'm surprised that for a German place it focuses on a lot of vegetarian/vegan options, but maybe it's just the ugly American stereotype in me that assumes all German food is mostly meats. First visited here with the lady friend and since she's not a big meat eater/bread lover thought she would love it. She loved it from all the fresh baked goods, to the cutesy decor and the friendly service to the fresh made food and bread. I wanted to get the Garden Herb Turkey sandwich but they were out of turkey when I went-which is good and bad. Bad because it was a sandwich I really wanted but a good sign that their food is fresh and therefore in a short supply. I ended up ordering two bratwurst instead while my gf got the veggie sandwich. All in all it was really quite good, my bratwurst was anyway, since I didn't want to eat the veggie sandwich. We also split a small loaf of their cheese bread which had a nice combo of seeds and cheeses baked right in and then ended up walking out with their apple strudel and tiramisu. The strudel-advertised as low in sugar was still delicious, in fact better than most because the apples were still pretty crisp as well as the raisins made things naturally sweet without a whole bunch sugar just pumped in. The tiramisu which carried the warning that it's made with real liquor was also delicious, and be warned you can still taste it-but it's by far the best tiramisu I've ever tasted. I brought my mom and my sis here and I went with the chicken soup in a bread bowl. My first visit they also ran out of soup but when we asked the person behind the counter what her favorite soups are and she picked all veggie/vegan varieties. I had the soup and thought it was just okay and definitely think that a veggie soup might have been a better option. My sis' Reuben though was a salty, meaty sandwich that I wanted more of-I'm usually not a Reuben fan but it was something that I could order again. Overall, it's a nice place to just come in and relax for a moment while eating some finely made food.
(4)Amy C.
Truly AWESOME old world breads made right here in Clarksville! If you make the drive up (and I MUST recommend that you do), they have a wonderful little cafe that serves up some authentic German fare, amazing sandwiches and yes, PIZZA! After you have finished your lunch, you can pick up a loaf or two to take home and then walk it off by strolling thru the neighboring antique store.
(5)Beth P.
Great food. Very eclectic atmosphere. Nice place for breakfast or lunch. Service is quick and polite.
(4)Renee Q.
Pros: Good food Clean dining room Local artwork on display Location Cons: Weird with two locations right next to each other Small eating area Very small menu Did not like the kid area Took forever to place an order ( I wanted a different cheese. The language barrier was a real problem) A little pricey for me
(3)Jenna H.
Best pizza, cute atmosphere, all very fresh ingredients. The menu is somewhat limited, but we love coming here!
(4)Mayra W.
The sandwiches are real good. The place is nice and it is clean. Very family oriented, it's almost like having dinner at your own home.
(5)Lana S.
Silke's is perfect for vegans and people with allergies. Everything is fresh and well labeled. They usually have a tasty selection of vegan muffins and desserts, great for those with egg and milk allergies. And for vegans, they even label bee products. I usually have a soup and the Greek salad here, both substantive portions. The produce is always fresh and the soups are always hot and tasty. Their pepper soup and the cream of asparagus are my favorites, but the selections never disappoint.
(5)Christina S.
Very good food and kid friendly!!!! We love to go here and eat and our kids really enjoy the little play area they have set up. The food is homemade and out of the ordinary! If you want a good, unique meal this is the place! Yum!
(4)Jeffrey K.
One of my favorite restaurants in Middle Tennessee! Atmosphere reminds me of an authentic German Cafe. Soups, Breads and sandwiches are excellent. However I am often drawn to the cheese plate which is great for both breakfast and lunch!
(5)James R.
I go to Silke's every time I come to Clarksville to visit relatives, which has been two to three times a year during the last five years. I have always had a good experience here and love both the food and the super helpful staff. I've tried their sandwichs, salads, and desserts and all of them have been excellent. I also appreciate their options for "make your own" sandwiches which has given me a chance to try a few combos just to taste something new. The desserts I always have to get "to go" to enjoy with relatives later as I'm so stuffed from my meal that the desserts have to wait, but they're always been worth it I particularly like to get a loaf of their Walnut Raisin Sourdough Bread to bring back to DC to share with my co-workers after my travels. Honestly, as a native I can say that a European bakery is about the last thing I ever expect to see in Clarksville, but Silke's is just excellent, and the staff are always very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I'm glad to be able to support this local home-grown gem!!
(5)Tammy B.
Just ate there for lunch today! Brie cheese and apple sandwich - delish!! Actually all their food is!!
(5)Meg A.
Fabulous, locally owned and operated restaurant. Named after it's owner, Silke is pronounced Silk-ah. They offer coffee that is locally roasted in Nashville, and it to die for! The staff is so helpful and really care about the food they are serving. The have an adorable kid's area to keep the little one busy, which our family really appreciates! Definitely give it a try.
(5)Andria C.
I could eat here every day. Authentic German food. The bread is amazing and the service is great. If you aren't a fan of German food, they also offer pizzas, salads, and any sandwich you'd like to put together.
(5)Ryan B.
Best reuben I've ever had. Absolutely delicious with no modifications needed. Excellent bread and meats available.
(5)Janet M.
I've seen the reviews and this place did not disappoint! Food was fabulous! I had the best Reuben of my life and the potato salad was just as it should be. The restaurant has a lot of homey charm to it and even has a little corner with toys for little kids to play with while they wait for their food. Service was very polite too. Their cakes and pastries look amazing. Can't wait to try some next time! As many have mentioned they have several vegan options in both dessert and entrees.
(5)Qbonnbon N.
Yum! The Brie and apple sandwich was wonderful! I also took a risk and got a slice of the honey cake (forgot the name) which my friends and I also loved.
(5)James P.
This was a great stop on our drive home. It's a little out of the way from highway but the food is worth it. Plus the gas at local station was the cheapest we bought from Florida to Chicago. Kid friendly, clean and a great choice!!
(4)Jodie B.
Sweet staff. Delicious fresh breads. Perfectly sized personal pizzas with lots of flavor and fresh veggies! YUM! This is a perfect little breakfast/lunch spot :-)
(4)Katalin V.
A little gem of an authentic German bakery tucked away in Tennessee. Artisan bread, delicious food made from scratch, heavenly desserts. I stop by every time I am in town. Love this place, it so reminds me of Europe.
(5)Evan A.
Great little cafe with European-style (German) influences. Specializes in fresh pastries and bread. Very friendly staff. Clean and pleasant. Ordered the turkey and herb sandwich with a bread bowl of clam chowder. Both were delicious. The bread was fresh, the soup well seasoned and the turkey was moist.
(4)Annalee P.
Love this place! I've been meaning to check this place out for a while now but didn't get a chance to go until a friend of mine visited me from CA two months ago. She adored the place as well. We went for lunch once and both got lattes and turkey sandwiches. The turkey sandwiches were absolutely fantastic! Great bread, great meat, great everything. The lattes were nice as well, but they tasted like they had been sweetened with something, even though we didn't ask for that. Overall, a very cute, cozy little place. I'll definitely be coming back again!
(5)The Yelp-inator W.
I went there today with a group of people and we got several different items....here's my take on the place The prices are reasonable.. Service was a little slow...but not too bad. If I was a vegan...I would love this place. The food was pretty good. .The food is fresh...made there on the spot. My son got the greek pizza....It was good I got a muffalata. It was OK, but not like what I'm used to in LA....not even close. The person sitting next to me got a ruben...said it was one of the best she had in a long time. My wife got a veggie burger. I had a bite...it was very good for a veggie burger and I usually do not care for such things. The desserts looked good but I was too full to get one. I would like to come back and try them all.
(4)Megan T.
I was born in Deutschland, so I have an affinity for all things German. This place is a gem! I tend to eat a mostly vegitarian diet, so I appreciate their menu for the fact that they offer many vegan and vegetarian options. My favorite so far is the muffaletta sandwich... Absolutely delish! Another positive side of this restaurant/cafe is that they have a children's play area... so it's a great place for a play-date and a wonderful change from the chick-fil-a and mcdonalds play place.
(4)Schwag P.
This place is absolutely awesome. We have a 4 year old and a 3 year old and we go there almost every Saturday morning for breakfast. My girls love it! They have a little play area. I am a vegan and this place really delivers on the options and the quality. DELICIOUS! They need a different order triage system. They queue orders which can be delivered immediately (soup) with orders that require cooking (pizza). If you order a soup after a pizza has been ordered, they won't simply pour your soup and hand it to you. You will wait and WAIT forever. It is literally the only thing wrong with this place, but it loses them business (and a 5th star from me).
(4)Jason L.
Excellent brioche, delicious sandwiches, great coffee. Friendly staff. I wish they had Hefeweizen.
(5)Ally A.
have you ever been so hungry that you contemplate chewing off a finger, just to get something in your stomach? i was in this predicament a mere hour ago and now, i am positively BLISSFUL! i headed to silkes on the recommendation of my girl, charley. their whole menu looked DELICIOUS, but i asked the recommendation of the girl behind the counter and was told that the reuben was the way to go. i'm a reuben fan, so i went for it. O. M. G.! this, my friends, is the promised land. i am currently noshing on a HUGE sandwich, loaded with AN INCH of meat, super tasty sauerkraut, thousand island, swiss and DELICIOUS rye bread. oh yeah! PLUS, in the car on the way home, i DEVOURED the vegan chocolate chip and banana muffin that caught my eye. thick, moist, super tasty...yes, virginia, there is a santa. and for christmas, i'm asking for some silke's lunch dates. next time, i'm going early enuf to get soup and leaving with coffee and bread.
(5)Anne O.
Silkes is a unique gem! I used to visit my boyfriend in Clarksville when I lived in Chicago and I would look forward to silkes weekends. 4 or 5 different types of hot coffee to choose from, awesome pizzas, always dessert samples... We treasured breakfast here because it was one place in clarksville that wasn't the standard breakfast menu served at literally every other establishment in town (greasy spoon omelettes and griddle cakes, extra meat, hold the fruits n veggies). The German stuffs a little weird if you're not used to it but the vegan breakfast plate is awesooome. It consists of fresh breads, guacamole, vegan cream cheese spread, vegan butter, a smiley face made out of veggie slices, and some grapes.
(4)Chris S.
This bakery is awesome!!! Do not pass this up! Worth it!
(5)Katrina R.
Love love love this place!! Wish they had a better and bigger place but omg their food rocks!! Must try the desserts! Even if u don't have room, take it home!
(5)Carina N.
One thing Clarksville had been lacking for a while was a good bakery and Silke's definitely has filled that void. Though I haven't sat down for a meal yet, I love their baked goods. Their bread is to die for and so are their pastries, they're some of the best I ever had. And a couple years back I had them make a German cake for my father's birthday and it was amazing. Not only did it taste as great as expected, but it was extremely well done and beautiful.
(5)Ashley C.
We wouldn't have found this place if it weren't for the antique mall next to it! I think this is a great little place. It's separated into two places. One area you can pick up food to go and other you can sit an eat. We've been here 3 or 4 times now and we are always happy with the quality of food and service. The ladies that work there are really great! I think this is a hidden gem in Clarksville. I've had a sandwich with brie and apples which was delicious, the coffee there is great. ALSO they have Vegan options which are surprisingly good! The vegan pastry that we had was the best of the bunch that we got.
(4)S S.
Another winner!! Silke's has character surpassed only by the delicious food..
(4)Kenzi N.
Is this the best place in the world to eat- no, but is the food good? yes. I have been here twice. The first time, I just got bread and deserts. The bread was great, but the deserts tasted old (perhaps because they had been refrigerated?) The second time, I had the Fromage Sandwich. It was pretty good, just messy to eat. This seems like a great place to have lunch with your friends so you can chat and relax. The food prep area is wayyyy to in the open for my tastes- it seems a bit unsanitary. That is just my opinion though.
(3)Jessica L.
ZOMG best German food around here. Their bread is just wonderful and it is always fresh. A bit on the expensive side but it is worth it. I have not gotten the chance to eat anything else there but it does all look so good. They also have a child-safe play area which is great for a small business like this. The environment is just so warm and it smells so great and is definitely a break from all the junk food and grease of the fast foo joints around here.
(5)Amanda M.
Yes, they actually have a few items labeled vegan here... A nice step forward for Clarksville. Basics like pizza with soy cheese, veggie burger, salad. I opted for the Asian Sesame Salad... Which was delicious, but a bit simplistic for 8 dollars. I arrived around 12:30 on a Tuesday, and they were completely out of bread for the day (this IS a bakery, right?!), and they mentioned that the soups came in dried/ powder form and therefore were not certifiably vegan (...yum...). They offer a "vegan platter" at breakfast, maybe worth a try.
(3)Michele T.
this place is as good as it gets! what can i say. if you havent been, where have you been??!! I am a local and its a german family tradition that we all meet here and eat on occassion. so yes it started many years ago for me. but i must tell u. in all these years. nothings changed. and it hasnt needed too. person favorites.... the bee sting! go ahead give it a try. their weeding soup in a bread bowl. and their greek pizza which i take off the artichokes and put on pepperoni. amazing! dont forget all their cheese and meat plates. This place will not disappoint. do take into consideration a few things. their sweets arent super sweet and thats ok because i can eat the whole huge piece. :) they dont add a lot of condiments to the their sandwiches but you can ask for whatever you need. i enjoy nothing but a tid bit of butter to truely taste the meat cheese and freshly baked bread thats delivered every morning. if your sitting here reading the reviews before you go, your just wasting time. GO! decide once you get there and see all the delicious food.
(5)Robb H.
Closest you will get to a real German bakery here in the area. This place has a fantastic menu. There are many different breads to choose from. It's a great place for some fresh bread and really good desserts. I usually go for breakfast, but they have a good lunch menu as well.
(5)Ron D.
Good fresh bread. Their soups, pizzas and sandwhiches are pretty good. Good selection of sweets and coffee.
(4)Jane Q.
I didn't know that Silke's had a restaurant, but one day I drove by and saw "vegan options" on their sign. I never thought I'd see the day when Clarksville would have a vegan option within its borders. Truly a sign of the times. I was excited to try it out. I went there on Thursday and ordered the vegetarian sandwich. I loved it so much that I went back on Saturday, and ordered the Spring Salad. While each of these have cheese, they have other options without dairy and including a vegan pastry or two. I also left with a bag of $20 worth of bread, lol! The workers there are helpful in describing all the different breads. I couldn't pick just one. My favorites are the Squaw bread and the Challah bread, but they do not serve these everyday. They have a variety of soups each day, but run out very quickly, and do not make more once they run out. Each meal comes in a precious basket with a variety of sides, like a bento box. The food tastes very natural and healthy. Their croutons are home made out of their own bread. The environment is kind of rag-tag, but it's cozy. There are local artists on display and it feels like a community hang out. Almost all the workers are authentic Germans. There's a play room in the corner for the kiddies. I only rate it four stars because it takes so long to wait in line and wait for the food. Definitely not a place to go when you are on a schedule (it took 15 minutes to wait in line and another 15 to get the food.) But for a leisurely weekend meal, it's great. Also, the prices are slightly high. I wanted to order the vegan breakfast platter, but it was $9! The sandwiches and salads are a bit more reasonably priced, about $7 each. I will still return to Silke's, though, and recommend it to others.
(4)Hailey D.
OMG This place is awesome!!!! The first time I went there, Chris gave me so many samples and explained everything for me. I did get two slices of cake and of course everything disappeared within an hour. I couldn't help it. I went back there yesterday after my recital at APSU. I ordered chicken and wild rice soup and seeded multigrain pan bread. I was going to eat the bread for breakfast next few days. Nope, they were all gone within a few hours. The soup was soooo yummy!!! And bread...man, I have no words to describe it. I love their croissant poppers. But you will have to let them know you want to buy those poppers 2-3 days in advance. I do want to try their pizza and breakfast. I'll have to go back there for lunch one of the weekdays and breakfast for saturday.
(5)S. H.
A great place to pick up breakfast treats or a relatively quick lunch, Silke's has a nice rotating selection of high quality regional art spanning from that of local amateur enthusiasts to renowned, more established artists' pieces. This place graces Clarksville with authentic and delicious German baked goods--the poppyseed cheese twists are to die for and everything else is worth the potential wait. What's not to love about a place in the Bible Belt that carries a coffee called Organic Orgasmic without trying at all to be ironic or hip?
(4)John V.
Great bread and cakes. Highly recommend.

(3)Amanda M.
(4)Hanna L.
(4)Kelly N.
(5)Ashley L.
Mmmmm
LOVE THEM.
(5)Skye E.
I've been here several times with friends and family and we've always had excellent food. I appreciate the variety of meat-free options and the desserts are wonderful. Well worth the wait if you get there when it's crowded.
(5)Deborah K.
Silke's has great german dishes. I am more a fan of their cakes and pastries. They are delicious and not a sweet as our American cakes and pastries. The prices are a bit high, but well worth it.
(4)Wendy T.
(2)Tony F.
Exellent!
(5)Mjg Y.
Very lovely, authentic little place.
(5)Starry R.
I grew up in Germany in the late 50's and early 60's. Silke's gives me back those great memories.
(5)Shelly R.
(4)Anthony C.
(3)H T.
(5)Tamara F.
Love this place, great menu and vegetarian selections
(5)Amanda M.
This place was authentic. The food was good (they were out of what I wanted so I got my second choice). The desserts were good too. We ate it first while we waited for our sandwiches to be made. The seating is limited, but they get people in and out quickly. They also have a small children's area to play.
(5)Jessica L.
(5)Deborah K.

The breads in the bakery section are delicious, especially the harvest seed rolls, the cheese/poppy sticks and the rosemary bread. My favorite pastry is the cherry cheese danish. The parking lot gets packed fast. Very kid and family friendly.

Mmmmm
(4)Wendy T.
(2)Tony F.
(5)Starry R.
I grew up in Germany in the late 50's and early 60's. Silke's gives me back those great memories.
(5)Shelly R.
(4)Anthony C.
(3)H T.
(5)Mjg Y.
Very lovely, authentic little place.

Exellent!

(4)The Yelp-inator W.
(4)Ron D.
Good fresh bread. Their soups, pizzas and sandwhiches are pretty good. Good selection of sweets and coffee.
(4)Jessica L.
(5)S S.
(3)Jane Q.
