Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Slow service. Salsa was okay. Food was below average. Margarita was not mixed. We would not eat here again.

Poor poor poor service. Only one guy working at 1pm. No management to be found. Sad day since Armando left, service now sucks.. only 2 tables of customers and it still took 17 minutes to get service..BUT I will say it was totally worth the wait. Food is awesome and lots of it. The new waiter is still learning but I think he will be a real asset.

Their margaritas are good and it's great they're served in pitchers. The guacamole seemed to just be avocado. I love avocado but expect my guac to have more flavor. I had the chicken chimichangas for dinner. I'm pretty sure they gave me food poisoning because I was sick by the time I left (I only had 2 small margaritas over a 4 hour span so I promise I wasn't drunk). The service was slow. it was the thursday of the Clarksville fireworks so I get it was busy but they need to anticipate that and bring in more staff if their staff can't handle it. I repeatedly saw every server but ours (we were on the patio). A kid also knocked over one the tiki lamps and almost set one of my friends on fire and they just brushed it off and put out the lamp. I will not be going back.

It's right between a three and a four for this place. I think if I went a few more times and they continued on the pace they will be upgraded to a four. I knew they had to be decent when I walked in and noticed a nice mexican family ordering dinner in spanish. This is a perfect mexican feel. Cheep looking almost fast food style booths. The servers were helpful and funny. Ours told us a good old-fashioned BJ joke. Decent price for dinner. Try it out and see what you think.

Daniel (our server) has a great personality! Salsa and chip are yummy. My favorite meal is tacos de carne Masada with corn tortillas! The frozen margs are the best in town!!

The litmus test for me is the chile relleno, if they use a pablano pepper, it's got to be good. Sure enough, they use the pepper and it was good! This place has my vote.. Good setting and atmosphere..

This is a decent Mexican place. Guacamole was just avocado (that's not a bad thing, just different than what I'm used to) and portions are huge! My boyfriend and I spilt the double order of fajitas and it was way more than we could eat. Everything was good, but nothing overly special. Service was also decent, the server was polite and attentive.

There are better places to go in Clarksville. I have been checking out all the Mexican place and this has been my least favorite...maybe I just got them on an off day...but I doubt I will go back...ever. watery cheese sauce salsa not very good either

I give this place 4stars just because of the fact it makes me think of a fast food restaurant when I walk in. The food overall is very good I have not had a bad experience yet. They also give military and student discounts which is always a plus in my book.

This place had really good. The salsa wasn't the best but the food was fast. We went at lunch and the place was only about half full so we were seated very quickly.

I enjoyed this place. The decor is fun and there was no waiting. My only gripe was the the food seemed to take forever considering there were like 5 people there. I can't imagine what its like when busy. I really liked the salsa, very fresh tasting. I ordered nachos and they were good and didn't skimp on the queso like every other place in Clarksville. The 'Rita was pretty tasty also. I'll def be back.

We were headed to the Riverside for some family time early on the 4th of July. We arrived early, around 5pm. We were initially seated without menus. The waiter had no sense of urgency and brought us one menu for four guests. It took over 10 mins to get our drinks and three more menus. At the time There were only four other families in the restaurant with two parties on the outside deck. In other words, they were not terribly busy when we arrived. The waiter took our order then We got our chips and salsa but ran out quickly. We asked for more and never received them. When our food was brought out, only three meals made it to our table. They had to quickly make my son's meal which arrived about 10 mins after ours. At this point my husband asked for more chips for my son to snack on since he was waiting on his meal and once again we did not receive them. He also asked for refills, which came very slowly. At this point the dinner rush had started. Our waiter was too busy talking with other tables to provide good customer service. The food was decent but the service was horrible. Once we got the check (1.5 hours later) we asked for four to-go drinks. We waited over 15 mins for them and decided to leave. When we paid for our check we told the manager we were waiting on the drinks and he said , " sorry, we are really busy!" I guess they were too busy to care about serving patrons. If you cannot staff your restaurant properly, how is this my fault? As we were walking out, the waiter flagged us down to give us our drinks. I understand is was July 4th and they did become pretty busy about one hour after our arrival but the wait time for the food/menus and the poor customer service for mediocre food is just not worth it.

I went 10 miles out of my way to eat at this restaurant- very disappointed. I order caso dip and it was given to me cold. The server did reheat it with dried up cheese on the top. I ordered the chicken and been fajitas and was very disappointed- not good. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.
