Wow wow wow! Place is amazing. Jerk chicken or jerk pork is my go-to but their sandwiches are nothing to ignore either. The food is wonderfully seasoned to make you want more. Service is quick. I don't live in Chattanooga but whenever I come to town, I make sure to stop here.

Truly a diamond in the rough. Service A+. This has become a regular visit for us. The reggae rolls are a favorite, super spicy. Vegetarian options are available. The Shrimp Curry was super yummy.

We had an awesome lunch at Mrs. B's. We all ordered something different so we got to sample a lot of the things on menu. I had the oxtail which was tender and very flavorful. My hubby had the special of sweet and sour pork. It was really tasty. We were also able to try the snapper which was flaky and most. We really wanted to try dessert as it looked wonderful but we were stuffed!!

Stopped by on my way down Lookout after a nice run. Placed a to-go order of the ribs. WOW, they were amazing. Very spicy but nothing a cold beer wont wash down. I cant wait to go back and try something else.

I love Jamaican/Caribbean food. I was excited to read reviews about Mrs B's and anticipated having a great meal. Met up with a couple of friends and none of us had been here before. Went in and it was pretty quiet, only a couple of people there so I had the pick of the table. Our server was a very nice young man and promptly asked us for our drink orders. Great start. There were specials on the board, one of which was Cuban Black Bean Soup. I love Cuban black beans. My mom makes some mean Cuban black beans. So I knew I was ordering that. Well, we looked over the menu and chatted a bit but realized it had been awhile since our server had come over and we hadn't even ordered yet. I had to flag him down and say we were ready. Ok, no problem. It's a laid back kind of place. I get it. I ordered the soup, and the other special of the day, braised oxtail. Yum. Friend ordered an appetizer for us to share and then each ordered their entrée. It didn't take long for our food to come. The appetizer was called the Reggae Rolls with chicken. Kind of like a egg roll. It was tasty and had some nice spices in it and the dipping sauce was really tasty and a bit spicy. The Cuban Black Bean soup was pretty good. Very thick and soupy, good flavors, just needed a bit of salt. I enjoyed it. (Not as good as Mom's though.) My braised oxtail dish came and my two sides were white rice and plantains. The oxtail was delicious. Lots of mean on those bones. It was very stew like with veggies in it. Again, needed a dash of salt though. The rice was a bit off, like it was parboiled rice or something. Not bad, just nothing special. The plantains were good. Very nice caramelization on them, they were sweet. The food was very good, but service was a tad slow. I'd definitely go back. I want to try their curry.

Absolutely incredible flavor to savor off of Broad Street on the south side. Marinades happen overnight and the classic Red Stripe is available to serenade your afternoon. The staff are great hosts and the owners have a lot of experience to draw from while still maintaining customer contact and enthusiasm. 5 start entrees and great deserts.

Try the fish tea, it is awesome makes you want to exercise. The menu is authentic Jamaican food and the sounds system is heavy w/reggae beats as proclaimed in the name of this little joint on Broadway. Hope best things dor this family owned eatery

Terrible excuse for any caribbean food. Everything was sorry especially for the price of it. No flavor at all for the jerk. Just bland baked leg and piece of thigh that was not grilled at all. The rice portion of rice and peas is a palm full. The curry goat is nothing close to anything curry. This was $30 down the drain. My husband is from the caribbean and he knows this type of food. Maybe we have been spoiled with the best jamaican cuisine from where we live, but DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I can't eat this food and will have to find something else to eat. My husband says the jerk plate should be $2.99. Very disappointing to say the least!

Sooooo good! Everything we ate, which was most of the menu with our group, was outstanding!

This place has put Chattanooga Jamaican dining ahead of anything you can get in Atlanta. The oxtails are the best I have ever had!!

Excellent legit Jamaican cuisine! I have been to Jamaica and this is still possibly the best Jamaican food I've had. Had the jerk chicken, veggies, and plantains and all was excellent. We tried the rum cake which was a bit rich for me, but I've never had rum cake and didn't know what to expect. Also tried the banana cheesecake and it was great. Great service as well!

Very delicious. I've waited for a Jamaican restaurant in Chattanooga for years, and Mrs. Bs has met my expectations. Chef Neville is a true artist. I usually go on Fridays to get their goat, but I got oxtail today (Thursday). I look forward to the day when they can offer goat and oxtail every day. I wish they had roti, but I believe that's more Trinidadian than Jamaican, so I understand. Their meat is always succulent and juicy. The cabbage is delicious! The plantains are sweet and plump, and the caramel rum cake made me want to smack someone in the face, open palm--so delicious. I think it's a little on the pricy side, so I only go once in a while. Some of it is a little spicy, which I like, but if you're not into Jamaican spices you won't like this place. If you've never had Jamaican spices, give Mrs Bs a try!

A taste of home, with a gourmet flair. Great personable owners, great atmosphere. It use to be I could only get authentic tasting Jamaican food when in ATL. No longer! So glad Mrs B's is here in Chattanooga!!

I have been a long-time lover of Carribean food. Having a best friend from Trinidad when I was young, makes me long for that flavor. I was convinced that my only option as to cook it myself, until now. I was overwhelmed by the hospitality of the owners and, thier willingness to discuss their passion and love for food! Then, the proof that they put on the plate had me convinced! I did not order from the menu. I asked that they just cooked me what they loved. Boy, did they bring the love! This place is a must. Even if your not familiar with this cuisine, trust, you will want to be!

Finally decent Caribbean food in chattanooga. Great place for lunch. Specials change daily. Spicy Jamaican curry Goat is the reason I came back because it was awesome but it's only served on Friday and Saturdays. Combo plate of jerk pork and chicken was a protein overload but everything was cooked perfectly! Chattanooga needs more of this!
(5)Gary G.
Mrs. B's was mildly disappointing. I had the chicken and pork jerk combination, I found it to be very bland, almost too sweet, with none of the earthy spiciness associated with jerk seasoning. Fried plantains were very good and the rice ok. One reviewer was surprised at the lack of Jamaican decor, I was surprised at the lack of Jamaican flavor in the food. The service was very good and the staff was very friendly. Might go back for one more try.

Awesome find! I was passing through Chattanooga and came across this place while browsing Yelp for nearby spots. Very small and simple, with great service and food. I had a bowl of the tripe stew for an appetizer, ox tail for my main, and a slice of some kind of ridiculously good cake poured over with a warm caramel sauce -- all excellent. This is a great off-the-beaten-path kind of spot run by very good people serving up very good food.

My family and I came across this quaint little restaurant with the nicest people and some really good food. I'm happy to say if you ever visit the Tennessee Aquarium, travel just 2 short miles and check out this Jamaican spot. You shall not be disappointed

Had the jerk chicken, red beans and rice and Jamaican slaw. Food was fantastic, Chef Neville is a great personality who can bring it in the kitchen! Friday and Saturday's menue is goat. I can't wait to swing by and give it a try.

The food is simply amazing!!!! I usually travel to Atlanta to get Caribbean food, but the food at Mrs Bs will have me coming back often.
(5)Tayton E.
Food is excellent!! Service is great!! The owner will tell you about the whole history, story, and culture if you ask! The music and fresh flowers set the environment for an ideal family lunch. Fresh apples go into their delicious homemade deep dish Apple pie which was absolutely jaw dropping. Must try Mrs. B's for yourself!!

This restaurant is great! The food was delicious and tasted like real jamaican food. We met the chef and his wife. They are really nice people a family owned business. You won't be disappointed

Warm friendly people and excellent Jamaican food. They even have Jamaican ginger ale with a real ginger bite. Easy to come down from Rock City and have a really decent meal! I wish they were closer than 900 miles away.
