Good family owned restaurant. Staff is VERY VERY friendly. Very fast service! Prices are cheap too!

This is an old diner. It has been here for 50+ years I was told?this place is old style diner with the kitchen right there in front of you. You sit at the counter and almost touch for your food being cooked. The two ladies there were super nice and so was the food. I also might add that their coffee is really good. Not so foo foo mocha coco latta. It was just good coffee. My omelet was nicely cooked soft, airy, and had plenty of cheese, onions, peppers, and some beef too. Then there was also biscuit n gravy to complete my breakfast. All of this above mentioned food for a whopping 7.50.now find somewhere else in town that you can get that!!!

TLDR: This is a little diner, sort of like a locally owned waffle house but with more character. I've been here for breakfast twice and the food is pretty solid. It's not the best breakfast I've had but still really good. The service is what you would expect, nice country folk, but fast and efficient. Prices are a little high for what it is. Full Review: The building is very oddly shaped. It has the look of a route 66 roadside stop in the west from the sixties. Modern for then, but odd looking now. The inside has a small number of tables, all two-top and a bar. If you have more than two people, the bar is basically your only option. This place is a diner that I feel like Waffle House was trying to emulate. The service and the cooks are good southern ladies. with plenty of sass for each other and regulars, but friendly, fast, and efficient service for everyone else. I've had bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits both times because they were just fantastic. The biscuit was moist and fluffy, not crumbly, the bacon crispy, the cheese standard, and the eggs gloriously soft-cooked creaminess. What Waffle House would call hash browns, these folks just call taters. If you order hash browns, you are asking for those deep fried triangle hashbrowns, which they also have and even offer under eggs for their Longhorn breakfast. The food here is a little expensive for what it is. I expect a diner to be on the cheap side. My wife and I ate breakfast there (scrambled eggs grits and a biscuit, bacon egg & cheese biscuit and taters, and one coffee) for $20. This seems high to me. I would eat here occasionally. They also have lunch too, but I haven't tried it.

Classic diner. Apparently has been around since 1950. Small, local place. I've only been for breakfast, but the western omelet was really good. Wait staff were super nice. I don't live in the area, but if I did, I would certainly be back!

Perfectly funky little diner. The food was good, the service was good, and the clientele was about as diverse as I've seen on a Saturday morning anywhere.

No need for a long review here. The atmosphere: Straight up 50's diner with round swivel stools at a bar. Tile floor and one long row of two person booths. The food: I have only been in for breakfast but it is an outstanding value. Wonderfully prepared food with great servers and good hot coffee. The staff: I struck up a conversation one morning and the junior member of the staff had been working there for 13 years. If you like cookie cutter chain restaurants or are really wide you may not like this place. ***Updated*** This place used to be cash only, but they can take a credit card or check card for a 0.75 fee. My wife and I order whatever we want for breakfast and the total with a generous tip has always been less than $25.00. And for breakfast they have pancakes, waffles, gravy biscuits, biscuit sandwiches, hashbrowns and other typical breakfast fare. Give this place a shot!

Skip the Waffle House one Saturday morning and stop in here instead. Great black coffee, best biscuits in town with homemade sausage gravy, and a friendly staff that will remember your name and your order starting the third time you eat there. Sit at the counter, read the sports page, and get your Chattanooga swerve on.
