Cracker Barrel has been around for a while, and while they continually serve up a good meal (usually). They seem to always be crowded with vacationers travelling, and have really gotten complacent (in my view) and no longer offer anything original. Their take on southern comfort food is just average at best. My recent experiences here have left me wondering... Why????

Stopped here on our way back from Chattanooga to Atlanta. Christina (our waitress) was simply amazing. The food was awesome. I am a fan.

This is one of our favorite Cracker Barrels. Service has always been the best as they really take care of us. We usually get a meat and two vegetables. Their cornbread and biscuits are the best. We have also learned to ask for their sour dough bread. So be sure to get that.

The food here is very delicious. I love the fact you can shop for novelties after you eat. The place is very clean. What I love is the fact they have audio books that you can buy at one Crackel Barrel and return it at another on when done. I will come back here again.

Great breakfast and best grits! They truly know how to make over medium well eggs without over cooking! French toast with blackberries is the best. Love the general store. Service is the best example of southern hospitality!

Good food, great service, only complaint I have is that the food came out way too quick! As in food that's already cooked and has been sitting there! Usually like their fried okra is really fresh and tender, today it was tough and chewy. If your going to send out food that's been sitting there, at least nuke it in the microwave before sending it out. Other then that, the rest of my food was good and the service was good also.

All Cracker Barrels are the same, but this one deserves high marks for one reason. Our server was one of the best we've ever had. Attentive, efficient, and extremely kind. His nametag said Jason R, and his apron said "Rising Star". However, after the service he provided myself, my wife and our two (slightly erratic) young children, he should get an apron that just says "Star".

We went here on a Sunday night about 7. They were pretty busy but usually CB does a good job with crowds. We did get seated right away by a nice host. Another waitress came by and asked if our waitress had been by-she hadn't-and explained that our gal had been triple sat so she took our order and said our girl would come over to introduce herself. We got our drinks delivered by another person. Then our food came delivered by another person. My wife for eggs and biscuits but bread wasn't brought with our food! We told the server that brought our food. Then we had to flag down another server to say we didn't get our bread. Our real waitress came to the table only once for the hour and half that we were there! Had to flag down another server for water refills. My wife did talk to a manager about some plastic in her eggs and was offered new eggs. Very dissatisfied with this restraunt.

My boyfriend and I decided to try out Cracker Barrel for lunch today. Our waitress was friendly enough and we both ordered their burgers and fries. It wasn't a busy time of day however it took quite awhile to get our food. I took one bite of the fries and they were clearly freezer burned. Same with the hamburger. I told the waitress and she offered to get the manager. He came over to our table in a very defensive stance and seemed annoyed to have to deal with customers and when I told him my concern he said "well we mass produce so it's gonna happen sometimes" which is a little ridiculous especially if you're asking almost 10.00 for a burger. He did take the food back and brought us something different however from this experience I will not be returning to this Cracker Barrel for any reason

Always a solid breakfast spot and amazing pancakes. Service has always been good. Just need to figure out a way to get my wife back out without going through the gift shop.

I'm from the California, and Cracker Barrel has been on my list of places to visit for several years now. It's a nice place to eat, with generous portions. Good food.

oh this was a fun meal. From the cold soupy macoroni and cheese to the stem vegetable casserol ... a waitress who brought my meal out in sections ... but didn't figure out untensils would be needed until I mentioned it ... then took two minutes retriving me some. Staff just seemed to be there getting a check. I have eaten in several Cracker Barrels, some quite good. This wasn't one of them ...

I love Cracker Barrel! I love that they are all pretty consistent. I absolutely love their mac & cheese. If I could just have that all the time I would. The biscuits are always good too and this time they were exceptionally good, or I was just starving. No, they really were good. Hot, and moist and the butter and jelly just melted in. I had worked all day and it was 2:00 and I hadn't had anything to eat yet that day. Those were the best biscuits I've ever had there. I ordered the chicken and dumplings, which I really like, except for the chicken. It's usually too dry. So I really just ate the dumplings and the sides. I should have just ordered mac and cheese as my entrée. Next time I will. Our server was super friendly and attentive.
