Healthy Meal suggestions for Cracker Barrel

Well first we were greeted with smiles and doors being opened for us as if we were royalty. Then was placed with the most friendliest server named Leslie. I had a mixture of cornbread and biscuits, soft butter and strawberry jelly.

Service was a little slow but food is always good. Directions have you taking exit 9 it's 11.

I love Cracker Barrels. They've got so much good food for such a great price. They've got such nice people that work there. The candy and gift shop makes me feel like a kid again. Almost like a kid in a candy shop!

I wish we had a Cracker Barrel close! I love it so much. Momma's French Toast Breakfast is my favorite! The triangle peg board game is another reason I like to go. I always enjoy my time at a Cracker Barrel. The only little complaint I have with this location was our waitress didn't bring out or ask us if we wanted any condiments (hot sauce, ketchup, etc.) Not a big deal but I get asked so often or it's automatically brought out, that it just seems odd when you don't get any. The struggle...

Absolutely love this place. How can you go wrong. It feels like your at your grandma's house. If I could I would eat here everyday. Friendly staff. Little piece of home every time.

I love me some Cracker Barrel. Is it the best food ever, no, but the ambience and the kitschy-ness of it, I just dig it. Now the food isn't bad, the breakfast is good. The mac and cheese is good. But it's just good old comfort food. We don't have these back in California where I'm originally from, so to be in a land full of Cracker Barrels everywhere I go around here, is a dream come true. The service is almost always fantastic and friendly. It's just comforting. And those rocking chairs...love love love them.

Went here with my sister for dinner. There are so many menu options and breakfast is available all day and night! They close at 11pm and that was great because we had a long day and were not able to eat until around 9pm and we didn't want fast food. Staff was very friendly, quick service, and great food! If I'm in the area again I will defiantly be going back!

Cracker Barrel had made a few changes in recent months, and with these changes, the service and the food quality has diminished greatly. First of all, please, please do not make me have to wait for a drink refill for my tea; especially if you are only waiting on two (2) tables. The catfish was dry, and had more breading than fish in some parts, the green beans need to go back to being served in a bowl, rather than on a plate where everything else is drenched by the bean juice, the portion sizes are now smaller, you must now request butter to be served with the biscuits or cornbread muffins, and the biscuits are hardly even cook, they come out about the same color as they go in the oven. The quit carrying molasses in both the restaurant and in the retail store.

I love this restaurant, but the experience really is hit or miss, depending on which server you have. I took my aunt and grandmother here every single Thursday for more than a year, as they both loved the Thursday night turkey dinner special. Why did we stop? Because we repeatedly were placed in a section that was staffed by a trainee or otherwise inexperienced employee. Additionally, since this location is right off of I-75, we were frequently surrounded by tour bus visitors, who demanded all of the waitstaff attention, and were loud and inconsiderate of the other guests. The food is consistent, if you are lucky enough to get it while it is still steaming and fresh. The service, sadly, is all over the place.

Ah, Cracker Barrel. Do you ever find yourself in the mood for sitting around vintage merchandise in a shadowbox frame, sucking on sweet tea, while telling yarns about that time you nearly shot a 10 point buck? Well have you come to the right place! The good thing about Cracker Barrel is you can go into anyone across this nation and find yourself in front of the same consistent plate of food. The bad thing is you can go into anyone across this nation and find yourself in front of the same consistent plate of food. Now if you're like me, you like greens because your grandma made you eat those suckers until you learned to love them. My big issue at Cracker Barrel is you get more hog in your bowl than greens. The carrots are boiled in butter and their green beans have the sweet bujeezus cooked out of 'em. (Which ain't always a bad thing.) Their hasbrown casserole is almost always simultaneously slightly burned and tepid. Which is a miracle of modern kitchen science, I tell ya. But hey, at least they have good fried okra! Come for the smoked sausage and leave with a jar of apple butter. Just like eating at your great aunt's second cousins twice-removed son-in-laws uncle's sisters house!

Took my parents here to eat while they visited me and my husband. We had the breakfast menu. Great food overall and fast and friendly service! Will come back again

First time in any cracker barrel. Great price, good menu, very fast service, and good staff. The food was tasty and healthy enough for me. I liked that I was able to go in, order, eat, and be out in a little more than 1/2 hour. I did this three nights. Waiter named Justin...I saw him when he wasn't serving food, wiping down not just table, but picking up chairs and wiping down legs and back and everything. That was neat. Made me feel good about where I was sitting. If other Cracker barrels are like this, they've won a fan.

We were on a road trip. Of course we stopped at Cracker Barrel. Of course we got a huge greasy breakfast. It was just want was needed before a long leg of driving. I think every Cracker Barrel is identical: fireplace, checkerboard table, that tabletop golf tee game, and a gift shop full of an impressive assortment of...crap. The meals are the same at every location, which is fine with me. The food is perfectly okay-I'm not really looking for gourmet meals when I'm driving for hours that day. I like knowing what to expect. The coffee was hot and the pancakes were good, I left full and happy.

If you haven't been to a Cracker Barrel, you should atleast go once. This chain restaurant is your classic southern food - from breakfast to country style lunch and dinner. I wouldn't plan on eating too healthy here but getting well fed! Environment is cozy and kid friendly. Each Cracker Barrel has a store that has many childhood memory toys and candy.
