Typical of other Mexican restaurants in the Tri-Cities. However something did stand out on the menu, fish tacos, I ordered one ala carte, it was a nice change, worth doing again, not sure if I would order the platter. I ordered the taco salad, a step above others in the area. Service was fine, we were taken care of. Would return.

This is a great place. The food is good and the margaritas are also tasty. They have a very comfortable dining room and a brick open patio during the nice weather. A great place to get together with friends.

Best fajita veggie burrito I've ever seen. You have to ask for it without cheese sauce if your vegan, but it's still terrific and a huge serving of veggies! The salsa is pretty good, and they are fast and cheap!

I came here about 3 years ago and thought the food was too salty, so I have never come back until I recently checked Yelp and saw many 5 stars. So I thought I would give it another try and went tonight (Tuesday at 8 pm). I really don't understand how this place has such high ratings. It was not super busy but the service was extremely slow, and the tap beer was very flat and the house margarita was too sweet and missing the lime big time. There were four of us, and one of our order came wrong. I ordered Ceviche and it was too salty that I couldn't eat more than a few bites. To make the records clear though, I love salt and can tolerate normal restaurant seasoning level. But it was just overbearing that I felt like I was drinking sea brine. Quesadilla Ranchero was quite good and was seasoned perfectly on the other hand, I couldn't believe these items came from the same kitchen. I doubt that I will be coming back here, as it seems they make decent Quesadillas and burritos but anything beyond that level are poorly executed.

Always great service here. Love their salsa and this creamy peppery type dip they bring with the complimentary chips. My favorite place for a chicken chimichanga. They have a fairly extensive menu, but for some reason I stick to the same thing every time. The one gripe I have is the guacamole. Its just not thick enough. Stop thinning down the guacamole. Prices are reasonable, portions are large..And of course great happy hour prices.

We enjoyed our meals and the refried beans were delicious. Usually, I find them bland and most places. I had a rib eye cooked just how I like it, medium rare with shrimp. I'm not sure what happened, but I had some intestinal issues the next morning. That is all we ate the night before, so I have to blame to this meal. I would not be afraid to go back though. It was probably a fluke thing.

I'm traveling and I looked up a place for dinner - the places I picked were closed and so thought I'd try this one as it had pretty good rating. It was a pleasant surprise. Waiter was sooo nice, it was sort of mom and pop Mexican decorated, and the menu was extensive. The chips were fresh and the salsa was tasty. I ordered El Grande as it had a variety and it was a TON of food! Muy grande! LOL. Everything was pretty good to very good. I especially liked the chili rellano. It was not expensive at all and I took half my food with me. Like I said, pleasant surprise!

After several long hours on the road we looked up Mexican food on yelp, I went by the reviews an decided to try this place. We were NOT disappointed!!! Our waiter was the sweetest most friendly efficient waiter I think I have ever had! A++ all the way. The food was very good, the salsa and chips were good. Everything about this place rocked. As a family we all agreed that Casa Mexicana is on our must stop list when going through Bristol. Try it, you won't be sorry.

Ate there last October. Sysco food - not authentic, but satisfactory and portion size was good. Fair price for the food.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
