Just finished lunch here, and although the food was decent for a chain restaurant - the service was non-existent. There were only 3 of us, and we didn't receive a single refill, any bread whatsoever and only saw our server when we asked someone else to go get her. We only ate here because an out of town guest requested it....next time we will talk them into going somewhere else.

Do not order the catfish! It was undercooked, so after 10 minutes trying to find a waiter, we finally sent back 2 large pieces of undercooked fish. 15 minutes later, the waiter returned with 1 very small piece of fish, and the rest of our party had already finished eating. No apologies, no price cut on the check despite the fact that we paid for 2 pieces of fish, and not even a refill of our rolls while we waited for the fish to be cooked. We have frequented this OCharleys for over a decade, but lately the service and quality has been lacking.

Been here numerous times. Today I went for one of their traditional favorites... Chicken tenders, fries...and those awesome rolls. Waitress was nice and pleasant. I wasn't fond of the smell coming from the back-of-bar/bathroom-area. Ugh.

Went to O'charley's with family for dinner and was seated quickly, the waiter was new but was extremely pleasant to deal with we all ordered items from salmon to chicken fried steak and chicken everything was really good except the chicken was rubbery. The waiter quickly asked if he could get something else for that person and even sent the manager down to us to make sure we were happy. They all did a fantastic job, he mentioned they had new people in the kitchen so that may be why that occurred, over all the food and drinks were pretty good and I would surely go back at any time , in fact when I go back home to my area I will visit the Oc'harley's near me. Good food, great people and not to stuffy of a atmosphere. I would surely recommend this place to my friends. Oh dessert pie is great!

I never thought I would have nothing good to say about O'Charley's but even the rolls were slow coming out and tough. My baked potato was hard - it had been microwaved not baked so don't call it a baked potato folks. It was cold so obviously it had been nuked earlier. The second one they brought out wasn't much better. Hubby ordered the fried chicken tender salad - something you can never go wrong with but it went wrong, very wrong. His chicken was cold and hard like it had been cooked and recooked or reheated in a microwave or maybe even left over from lunch or something. They brought out more chicken tenders, not much better. Truly was a sad night when you can't count on O'Charley's chicken tenders.

Once again an excellent piece of salmon. I don't know why this chain can do it so well when high end restaurants can't. The service was good but a little slow.

If you want a restaurant with horrible service and a lack of leadership from management - then this is the restaurant for you! O'charleys used to be a favorite. After the bad experience here - I won't go back to any.

The service can be slow sometimes, but the food is amazing. We had the chicken tenders + cheese nachos + loaded potato skins & it was the best. The management is amazing & the manager was walking around observing the service. Totally recommended to try.

Not overly impressed, server was nice but a bit scattered. Friend ordered the tatertot appetizer (yuck, nothing but oil and processed cheese). Ordered the strip steak medium rare and was very clear that I did not want it over cooked! Salad came out out just before meal, a little slow. And my steak was almost well done? Potatoes were cold and tasted odd? I have never had much luck with this chain food restaurant, have no intention of going back and if I did I would not waste my money on their steaks! The best thing I had was the side salad. I think part of the problem is the management, but have been to 3 or 4 different locations over the past dozen years and never very good?

My bartender Brandon is awesome. Chicken pot pie wasn't bad either. Had a very well cooked ribeye last night. I also love the local Yazoo brew served here. Too bad I leave to head back to Houston tomorrow or I would be here tomorrow. Thank you Brandon for the wonderful service.

Very disappointed in this location I took my party from out of town thinking Brentwood was a good place to eat. The server dumped all of our lunch on the side of my head ruining my shirt and a bunch of honey mustard in my hair and on my shoulder. The server was shocked and apologized which was fair they comped the meal we didn't really get that much ruined my shirt and had to stop by the washing house then Go Take A Shower Totally Ruined My day

Very attentive staff. It seems that they increase their staff size depending on the day of the week. Both the management and the table servers see to it that the customer is taken care of from the time of entry through to exit time. Our server, Trish was taking notice of even the smallest details, such as my daughter taking croutons from my salad. Trish brought my daughter her own small dish of croutons.
Yes, I realize this is a chain restaurant, but there are not these where I am from so this was a new experience for me. This location had a good sized parking lot and it was packed on a Wednesday night. We waited about 15 minutes and were seated with our party of 7. Our server was prompt and understanding with the kids and all. This is the perfect place to bring kids. They had a $9.99 menu and it was comprehensive. I had the shrimp special that day and it did the trick. It was on par with a TGIF, or Applebee's, or Chili's. We were in and out and the ambiance was satisfactory.

Well my girlfriends and I popped into the Brentwood O'Charleys mainly because the drinks are especially affordable and it is open late, like few other places in Brentwood. It had been a long time for one of us and not so long (like lunch earlier that day) for others. We were quickly seated, good thing because the preceeding salsa class had made us peckish and thirsty! Then we sat there for 10 mins without being acknowleded! The manager even walked by a couple of times, and we tried to get her attention without coming right out of our seat, to no avail. Finally Tom, came by and apologized for the delay, explained he wasn't our server, but that ours, pointing to our server, Adam, is very talkative, so he would get our first round of drinks ordered up. The visit took a turn for the much better after the initial introduction. We discussed life, politics, and food, homegrown and chain restaurant variety - thats the friends and both servers. We did have to send back the nachos, first effort was pretty bad, the rest was about par and the 2nd try a the nachos was more like you would expect from a local corner pub. They split the bill evenly three ways and all was good. We will be back.

Went on Wednesdat for lunch. My friend and I were served two rolls from the "bottomless basket." She had to remind the server several times for a drink refill. When my club sandswich arrived, the bottom bread of my sandwich was soggy and stuck to my plate. The free pie Wednesday was not offered to us-we had to inquire. Finally, mid way through our meal the server brought our check to us, before my friend had even been offered a refill on her "endless" bowl of soup. The only reason I gave this place two stars is because her second bowl came out very hot and fresh. I really doubt I will be going to o'charleys again. I definitely will not return to the Brentwood location.

This location is below average for this chain and compared to similar restaurants in this area. Service is friendly, but SLOW. There are numerous little errors (wrong drink, wrong salad dressing, missing sides, that sort of thing). Combined with slow service, things become even slower. I've been here probably 10 times over the last couple of years (latest was this week), and it's not the cleanest. Today, my rimmed salad bowl had smudging of unidentifiable particles dissolved in some greasy substance. Was it just some salad dressing? No, it was the wrong color, and was not part of my food (most likely whatever food was on the servers thumb?). The food is okay, but not special. TIP: AVOID THE HARVEST CHICKEN SOUP. It's so thick, it's almost gelatinous. I suffered a single bite and it was just inedible. It was uniformly yellowish - the cream, the chicken, the noodles, everything, with no sign of veg. Sorry, but disgusting.
My wife and I were stuck in Brentwood for two days due to an ice storm. Thankfully we could walk to this O'Charley's from our hotel. We had dinner at the bar two nights in a row. The meals were a terrific value, the drinks were good and the bar crowd was a friendly adult group of regulars who enjoyed themselves in a classy manner. Thank you O'Charley's!

We were with a large party who reserved 2 weeks in advance. So what did they do? Seated another party in our area. Then we were here for almost AN HOUR before we got rolls, and the first batch were lukewarm. They were not prepared for our 30 guests. That overwhelmed any positives about the food. My other beef was the response that my child's mac and cheese and cheetos would be delivered when it was ready. Really? To heat up mac and cheese and put a BAG of cheetos on a plate? Thumbs down.

Using up the last of Pablo's gift vouchers from clients we hit this O'Charleys. Service was very good from such a young lad. I had a burger, held the bun and wrapped it in lettuce, the lad took the request and delivered perfectly without fuss. Pabs had the Teriyaki chicken and rice with oodles of 'shrooms and the sauce while sweet was not too sweet and a massive portion. Lashings of club soda and we were out with .36 cents to spare on the $25 gift-card.

I returned here for lunch, on a very busy day at that, a few weeks ago. I must say they were going at full steam. For the lunch rush, we were seated relatively quickly and from there, the wait staff was on very much on top of things, taking our orders, and getting our food and drink to us very fast. This time I tried the new nachos, which, while not as good as El Rey's, Moe's or Chili's, are still very good. I look forward to our next visit. Oh, again, I also did not see any problem with the cleanliness or promptness of the service. O'Charley's is a great local business. We need to support local businesses.

I use to love coming here for their California Chicken salad - my fav! However, my last visit was a HUGE disappointment. It appears they are skimping on quality by filling it with the kind of salad mix you buy at the grocery store that has slivers of carrots and chunks of bitter, white lettuce. This salad use to be made with a tasty spring mix that went very well with the other ingredients - grilled chicken, strawberries etc... and now they place very little spring mix over the other to give it the same appearance as before. Poor quality with the same price tag as when it was great ... shame.

There was a time a few years ago that if you would have suggested going to O'Charley's I would have not been to happy. However, I have been very surprised and excited. The O'Charlye's here in Brentwood is outstanding. I have been here several times over the last few weeks and I am constantly impressed! Way to bring it back O'Charley's. Great food, Great service, and great atmosphere! If you haven't been here in a while, I recommend you try it again. I think you'll be impressed!

The only reason this doesn't get a 1 is that when I called and talked to Dennis he was polite and seemed sincerely apologetic. The "9 oz filet, medium" was more like a "shoe insole, well done." I got 1 refill on my soda, as clearly my location right next to the kitchen made me hard to get to for refills.

Went in there looking for red meat therapy, came out having had it. Got the prime rib with broccoli, and it was pretty good. The flavor was a bit off from what I was expecting. It seems that they keep their meat soaking in a broth (pork, it tasted like) to keep it soft during the long day. That being said, it came out fast, and they gave me lots of butter, just how I like it for my prime rib. The salad that came with the meal was tasty as well. And the bread! It was soft and sweet and milky and very, very, very tasty. I barely kept myself from eating it all. The service was attentive without being intrusive, which is always nice.

Don't bother to order take out. The kids working this detail don't care, don't care about you, don't care about getting your food out to you hot and fresh. After being exactly on time at the time we were given, and waiting ten minutes to even be approached (which we were not, and neither was anyone else), my son went inside to check on our meal. They wouldn't even talk to him. He returned to the car saying, "they don't have their act together." So, I went inside, now almost 25 minutes after the appointed time, only to find our meal was sitting on a shelf just waiting there. When we got it home, most everything was at best luke warm, and the fries were all soggy and cold. The meal was just as bad as the service, and especially so for the seventy bucks we paid.

I met some people here for lunch the other day. We got there at 11 which was good because before long the place was packed. The food was good all around, much improved since my last visit two years ago. I had a black and blue salad and ordered the steak rare because in most places that is considered medium. Here rare is rare, which was fine with me because I like my steak cold in the center, but I am sure that it would have been sent back by the majority of customers there. My gripe was with the staff. They were super nice, and attentive, but can I complain about them being TOO attentive. We were there for less than an hour and we had no fewer than 3 people check in on us at least 2 times each. It's not like we were a huge party ordering complicated meals. How many times do you need to ask me if my salad was okay. It's a salad, it doesn't change as I eat it. One guy, who I assume was a manager because he was dressed differently, actually excused himself to interrupt our conversation TWICE to see if everything was okay. I get it they want to make sure we are happy, but I don't need to be asked every 5 minutes. We were all on different expense accounts so they accommodated the separate checks for all four of us with out hesitation, in fact, asked us before we ordered if we wanted to do that, which I guess is standard in that area for lunch time. I know it sounds like I am complaining about nothing, and sure I probably am, but I would recommend going here again.

This is apparently the place to go for Sunday brunch in Brentwood. I happened upon it a few weeks back and was astonished. A friend of mine claimed they had a wonderful brunch, but I was skeptical. We got there and had to wait 30 minutes to beat seated, a shock. It's a chain, and that's pretty much how the food is, but the brunch was okay. I won't say it's my favorite, but if it's all you got, it's not bad. I'd say it's on the same level as a Perkins, just without the bakery.

I have been a long time customer here. But this weekend I went and after a long wait I finally sat around the bar, where I normally get great friendly service. After a long time the server came to my table. They were slow, unfriendly and it took along time to get my drink and even longer to get my food. To make matters worst the management was even worst. I have notice that this OC seems to be going down hill and I will not be going back.

Went here on a Monday night around 8 in a really good mood and knowing a local fav. is usually crowded on Mondays. So I thought I'd give this place another try after eating here on a weekday around 1 pm a few months back where the service and overall spirit seemed very average or below. Anyway I sat at the bar and they had 2 bartenders so that was better than the one woman last time. This time the bar was about the same - 1/3rd crowded. Took them a couple minutes to get my drink and give me a menu. After taking a minute I put my menu down and took another few minutes till they saw me I guess since I wasn't a regular or something? So after takng my order a regular guy they knew comes in and orders a to-go order and they tell him about the specials and offer him chips neither which they offered me. Heard them offer chips to someone else too? Anyway after a long wait they bring this other guy his to-go order and she tells me my order is coming real soon (a simple grilled chicken breast with veggies). In the meantime she never brought me out rolls all the time I'm waiting. Also did I mention they didn't do a good job of cleaning the bar from food crumbs from the last people there though I didn't bring that up. She then brings my food and finally some rolls with that. So I'm eating and the food is fine (no complaints there - but place like Cross Corner I feel now is much better). I drink my water and ask for a refill. Then another customer comes in and she forgets about me in the meantime so then after a few minutes I ask the guy bartender for a refill after my glass has been sitting theere empty on the edge. This place is too corporate or something. There wasn't a survey on the receipt or any manager I saw while there or when leaving otherwise I would of said something.

We had the chicken parmesan pasta and the Big Easy Seafood Combo. Both were excellent. Service was great. Can't wait to go back and try something else. I suggest deciding up front if you are going to eat the rolls. Asking the server to not bring rolls helped us to avoid the temptation.

I joined the e-CLUB of O'Charley's restaurant and got a free gift, and they even said they'd send another. Anyway I like this O'Charley's since it's convenient off I-65 Old Hickory exit near Franklin Rd. The Sunday Brunch 'till 3pm is my favorite time to dine here.

On Saturday we were out and about in Brentwood. We drove past the O'Charley's on Old Hickory and noticed they had put up a new sign and the outside of the building has been redone. We thought we'd check it out. The inside of this restaurant looks very different than it did just a few weeks earlier, very open new colors which gave off a very welcoming vibe. They've added a few new things to the menu we tried the new hush puppies. They've taken a standard old item that you would find in shack and made a very interesting dusting it in a sugar bacon seasoning that has a little heat, very good! The experience here was very good, food was prepared as ordered, service was excellent and the manager stopped by a couple times to see how things were going. Will be back. Check before tip, $27.59, 2 entrées, appetizer and soft drinks.

Visiting from out of town and this was a close spot for dinner. Friday night about 6 no wait and the service was great. The food however was Amazing!! Never heard of this chain before but we will definitely look for this one again.
