Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Matteo's has gone through a couple of ownership changes and yet some of the core staff has remained from change to change so it hasn't been obvious that it has changed hands. So far the changes have not had any effect on operations and food. The newest change is still new - they are painting and freshening the place up. They are going to add back some seating. I haven't been in since they started the upgrades but have had delivery and everything is still top notch. Consistency is key and they are doing a great job.

Best pizza I've found in this area. Great quality ingredients and never had any problems with my orders. I wish they had a larger space so they could accommodate more dine in guests, but love the staff and taste of the pizzas and that is what reviews should be about. Check it out!

I have to admit, I went on a whim and I had Sabarro from the mall the day before (which totally hit the spot) but I'm so grossed out by super soft crusts on Pizzas. I had a personal size so maybe that was the problem. Anyway, I won't be back. It's bad if I like the crappy mall pizza better...

Best pizza in Franklin! Thin crust is like a cracker crust but is not crispy. They have great specials and the guys at the front desk are always super friendly. I tried almost every pizza place in Franklin since I moved here trying to find a good "go to" and Matteo's it it!

Thin crust pizza was ok- needed more sauce and a little more cook time- friendly help-

Got a recommendation on this place from friend. First impression not good at all Ripped furniture, broken cabinets, no menu, no credit card machine and a hidden health inspection in a broken frame (btw it was 85) all should have you running. Everyone like their pizza a little different, this pizza is super thin crust like a saltine cracker. Meh. I've experienced better.

Tried it for the first time. Had a groupon. Didn't think it was that special. I'm not a thick crust guy, but their crust is thin and kind of waxy. I might give it another try and check out of their specialty pizzas. The 2 ingredient versions were really lacking. Had better. Sorry Matteo's. I went in hoping it was going to be good.

This is excellent thin crust pizza. You can pick up or deliver. They are always consistent and had a wonderful veggie option.

I don't like giving bad reviews but this was the worst pizza ever. Both pizzas were scorched a little and the wings were burned to a crisp. Since the pizza was delivered, I most inconveniently drove back to Matteo's for a refund on the wings. They took a peek and gladly gave a refund with no explanation or sympathy. Do yourself a favor and bypass a rude awakening.

I'm only reviewing the gluten free pizza. It was ok. I've since had better gluten free pizza closer to home. The sauce and toppings were delish, but the crust was just too crunchy for me. I was also dissappointed that it only came in small size. I also wish they had a dining room. But I guess if I lived in the area this would bother me as much.

I really enjoyed the taste of the pizza. Had a Chicago style Taste to it. Better then the other places and chains around cool springs. I Will be back.

We recently stayed at a local hotel and tried this pizza place out. We got an extra large pepperoni and it was aweful. Greasy and the crust was like cardboard. Also when the delivery guy came it was over an hour after we ordered. He told us that our card didnt' work and kept the receipt. After calling my card company and checking on it they said that the company didn't enter the 3 digit code. I didn't tip due to the issues and the awefull condition of the pizza. We got 2 calls from the delivery boy since I didn't apply a tip to the order. I told him why we didn't tip, cold pizza and lousy condition and excessive issues with order. After reviewing my credit card statement I see he decided to give himself a $2 tip anyway. Beware of this company!

My first 5 star review! I love, love, love this place. I have ordered pizza from here many times - two times since we've moved here but four times or so before when we were in town visiting over the last several years. The gluten free pizza crust is made on site, so it's not a frozen crust that they defrost and then serve to you. The crust is so good! They offer 8" and 10" gluten free pizzas (and a wider range for the non-gf pizzas) which works for me. I can eat the 8" in one sitting and the 10" lasts me a meal plus a snack the next day. My absolute favorite pizza is the Rocky Top. It's a hefty pizza with red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, onions and black olives. My mouth is watering just thinking about that pizza! You won't want to sit down in here to eat, although they have one booth. It's more for delivery or pick up. And really, how cool is that? Delivery gluten free pizza? I almost cried thinking about it! They also have gluten free baked goods for sale from Aunt April's bakery. She makes the best gluten free chocolate chip cookie I've ever had. The owner is very nice, which always helps. I've really never had a bad experience here. I'm happy to support this business and cannot wait to place my next order.

When I moved down to the South, I was really worried about finding gluten free foods and Matteo's was my first find. The staff is knowledgeable about celiac/gluten intolerance and very cautious about cross-contamination. Another plus is that the owner is really nice. In my opinion, this is not only the best gluten free pizza in the Nashville area, but a business I enjoy supporting. Thanks!

Drive by this place all the time but never think about it when I want a pizza. Well I finally remembered to try them and they are now my pizza place. The sauce is outstanding!! The toppings tasted very fresh and full of flavor. The price was right on the money. I do think they could add some more toppings and choices but all in all I think they are awesome!

Good pizza.

Not the best pizza, but Matteo's gets four stars from me for being enlightened enough to sell gulten and dairy free pizzas. It is nice of you to go to the trouble for the occasional person who has allergies. Its rerfreshing to find a business that does things for good measure that aren't related to a buck.

Man, what pleasant surprise! It doesn't look like much from the outside so I was not expecting much, boy was I wrong. Great pizza, nice people, quality toppings, PERFECT crust. Will be back next time I'm in town.

If you are looking for an awesome local pizzeria, try this out. Much different from chain store pizza. A little over priced, but worth it. And they deliver...

I really really wanted to like this pizza and was so excited to try it. But it was just mediocre at best. I was so excited to find a gluten and dairy free pizza since discovering my multiple food allergies, but I could make a much more delicious pizza myself at home. But I do appreciate the fact that they do offer gluten free option.

What ya expect from a pizza place in "Brentwood"? Over priced pizza! I just bought 2 large pizza's and it cost me $37.00. Crust is way thin, sauce is tasteless, and the gal at the register was not all willing to use a coupon for this order. I'm new to Brentwood and have never used this establishment. Will not be returning here. Should have went to Publix Grocery Store and bought a couple of frozen Tombstone's. Would have been a better dinner.
