Great sushi. They give good quantities of fish in their sushi. The chicken teriyaki is really good. My family loves the sauce. Bento boxes are of good size and variety too. Nice friendly service.

We tried this place for lunch while we were furniture shopping. The sushi was not fresh and the beef teriyaki was not good. We just moved from California so maybe we are sushi snobs but we will not be going back

Simply put; come here for the don. What's don, you ask? A bowl of yummy goodness, that's what. Hot, filling, Japanese comfort food. It's essentially a bowl of rice with assorted veggies and proteins on top. Yes they do sushi, yes it's fine, but it's easy to find sushi joints that do sushi just fine. It's less common to find a place that does a good don. My personal favorite is the oyakodon, which is chicken and eggs cooked together and mixed with veggies. Chicken and eggs.. it's like eating two generations at once, and it's delicious! Funny enough, the first time I had it here, the waitress asked if I've had it before. Apparently people order it not knowing what to expect, and then send it back because they're off-put by eggs with chicken... and apparently it's happened enough that the servers feel the need to ask this. Please, people, don't be stupid like that. If you don't know what something is, pull out your damn phone and google it before you order it and send it back. Anyway, this is definitely going to be a regular lunch spot for me now, especially when the weather is cold and I want a nice hot bowl of something simple and delicious.

The sushi was surprisingly really good! It's in the little shopping area where there is a publix, Petsmart, Home Depot, a nail salon, furniture shops, etc etc. I live less than 5 minutes away and passed it almost daily and never knew about it. It was a great find!

I ate here for dinner twice in the last three days. Gorgeous food, full flavor, everything very fresh. The tuna on the sushi in particular was creamy and not fishy at all, the avocado was buttery ripe, and everything was at JUST the right temperature. I recommend the Oshitashi as an appetizer, though I was the only one who tried it--and if you like oyakodon, yakisoba, or sukiyaki, you've probably found your new favorite place. Everyone was very polite, and the prices were outstanding--for a meal for two, including two sushi rolls, two appetizers, and a full dinner meal, I paid less than $50. Outstanding.

Really great sushi. The server was prompt and attentive, and the sushi chef on his A game. We had the Boston Roll, the Magic Roll and the Las Vegas Roll. All were full of variety and depth of flavor. Normally we tend to order spicy rolls, but neither of these are and they satisfied well.

Solid Japanese dining, prompt service, and good sushi. Service is excellent and attentive, and pricing is fair. Definitely returning!

Stopped in for lunch. Had soba noodles with stir fried veggies which came with salad and miso soup. The place offers the typical lunch menu and service was good. Overall pleasant but nothing outstanding. I will go back and try other menu items.

HANDS DOWN BEST SUSHI IN TOWN!! I've been to many sushi joints around Nashville and haven't experienced more of a delightful taste like the one eloquently presented by Fuji's. The experience was molded not only by the variety of selections of sushi but also by the unique decor the restaurant has. The new owners definitely took the place to a whole new level! My sushi was delivered to me in a big wooden boat and eating the sushi out of it just made the whole dinner just that more wonderful! If you've never had sushi or Asian cuisine, I highly recommend this place. If you've had sushi or Asian cuisine, I still recommend this place. If you want food, I recommend this place. You can never go wrong with sushi, especially when it tastes as good as the ones here!

Great service in a very comfortable setting. Solid food with a nice selection of items on the menu. Great dumplings, bento box, entrees and good selection of beverages.

The food was ok flavor wise, but there were a couple of things that made me upset. Ok details. They were not friendly. It was that uncomfortable feeling like they just had a big fight and then we walked in. The drinks just made me mad. Some places are serving bottled sodas, but for $1.95 you get one of those tiny bottles. That's not right. I had tea, and the glasses are very small and I never got a refill. One if my pet peeves. They give very small portions. The menu says lunch is served with a cup of rice. We ordered bentos because it was our first visit and we were checking them out. The salad was dinky. The chicken teriyaki had 3 small, thin pieces of chicken, less than a quarter cup of veggies, at most 4 Tbs of rice. This is for a lunch that is $8.95. This is the first time I am slamming a place for portion. It was ridiculous. I will say I saw the rolls coming out, and they seemed to be good sized. We didn't have the time or inclination to order a roll, but my son is saying he needs more food. Just for that, not going back.

Ordered take out and they didn't include the soup or salad, they said they didn't wanted to spend money on more containers!! Really?!! ...And you are... in what kind if business?! When I opened the box the portion was beyond ridiculous. My 8 year old said that she could've gotten more chicken in a happy meal!! Never coming back! Go to shogun across the street. Way better food!

Reviews seemed spotty but it was a Sunday afternoon and I was craving sushi. If you live in the area and are simply looking to fill a sushi craving then this is your spot. I've eaten at Virago and Wild Ginger and while they have good sushi and nicer interiors, they have higher prices as well. Staff was friendly although I get the feeling this is a place for regulars. Had two sushi rolls that were great and the yaki soba had great flavor. If you have a hankering for sushi this place will fill it.

After a couple of visits I can confirm great sushi - fast service. I would certainly recommend

Sashimi sampler agadashi tofu, udon soup, even the token ice berg lettuce salad; these items were all fresh and tasty! One star off for sticky tables and pink industrial soap in bathroom.

Decided to try this place because it was so close to my house and there just aren't that many sushi places in Tennessee. Overall, their fish was decent. It wasn't the freshest in the world, but it wasn't too bad. I'd give it 3.5 stars. So why does it get two stars? We ordered a lot of sushi and I got one of the platters. One of the rolls was supposed to be a "chef's choice". What did they put in it? Cucumbers. What else? NOTHING. It was a cucumber maki. I was appalled. What a rip off! I felt completely cheated. Lesson learned. Don't let that deter you from coming here though, just be weary of any "choices" you can't make!

I think this sushi place is one of the better ones in the area. I've been coming for lunch for years and when I stopped working in the area, I stopped going. I was in the area yesterday and of course I had to eat lunch there. I love their deep fried rolls, udon, and the green tea is wonderful. I've never had anything from the menu I didn't enjoy, and my husband will only eat deep fried sushi rolls from Fuji. He's said he's tried them elsewhere but they just aren't as good, and I agree.
