Bruegger's Bagels bakers bake the best bagels in Brentwood. Can you say that fast ten times? Near the great expensive grocer Fresh Market, this is also convenient to most of the rest of Brentwood destinations.

So this was a quick stop on the way out of town. Although the restaurant was a little less clean than we would have expected, we came right after a Sunday morning breakfast rush. I've been a longtime fan of Breuggers ad they have excellent bagels and sandwiches. The whole family was happy and we were in and out in 20 minutes.

Friendly service, good coffee, and the Chorizo Jack sandwich is the biggety bomb!...but please allow me to go back to friendly service. Since this is a chain, there's always something you typically expect...food at a certain level of flavor and variety. In other words, you're not going to find anything extremely unique. However, what makes this chain different is the great attitude I've found the two times I've visited. Customer service is important, but especially so in the morning : ) So...I will certainly return for an expected bagel and coffee, but more so for the unexpected friendliness from a chain...oh, and the Chorizo Jack.

I've loved Bruegger's Bagels since I was little, in the days of the no-longer-available chocolate chip bagel with chocolate chip cream cheese. I've now moved on to more grown up choices like the garlic or everything bagel with scallion bacon or jalapeño cream cheese and coffee. Great food... if you get there before your favorite bagel sells out. On this particular visit (New Years Eve), I was not a huge fan of the staff or the extremely picked-over bagel selection. One of the staff at the ordering station was extremely rude to a man in front of me. He asked for one of the burger bagels, to which she rudely replied they didn't have today (I guess because of the holiday?). When he asked for a suggestion, she rolled her eyes and pointed to the breakfast menu and said "breakfast sandwiches, bagels". In my opinion, if someone asks for a suggestion after the item they wanted isn't available, you make a particular and friendly suggestion to make up for the fact that you can't provide their first choice. I felt bad for the man. I'm a strong believer in good service, and was quite irked by what I saw at this location today.

I've always enjoyed coming to Breugger's to have a quick breakfast...I have been here several times and service was always great! The bagels are fresh and delicious...I normally just put cream cheese on mine, but there are some days where I replace the cream cheese with jelly. Always yummy! I will definitely come back!

This is the only place in Nashville that I've found that has salt bagels. Smear on that delicious salmon cream cheese and you shall see Jesus eyes.

I know they are known for their bagels, but I really like the muffins. I especially like the cranberry walnut one. Yum. I see lots of people getting breakfast sandwiches, but I usually just stick to muffins or bagels. The bacon scallion cream cheese is my favorite.

I normally go to a different Bruegger's but I was in the area and wanted to get a quick lunch. It was awful. It was lunchtime and only had three people working; one girl took my order and continued to do something else so another person took the rest of my order. He had no idea how to make the sandwich, was very confused and didn't ask me if I needed anything else. When I went to eat the sandwich, I found a hair but didn't bother going back because of how bad the service was. I'll be sticking to my normal Bruegger's.

My blueberry bagel was pretty good, even though they were out of my first two choices. They had a nice selection of different cream cheese. I wish they had more of a selection of coffees and drinks. I got a chai- but it was not fresh brewed. It came out of a machine like they have at a gas station with very sweet pre made mix.

Visited after church on a Sunday. Expected a much better selection and service. They had only three choices of bagels and overall they were disorganized in their service. Disappointed...still looking to find a great local niche bagel shop in the area.

Yummy! Coffee is always fresh. Employees know the regulars by name and welcome all their guest with open arms. I usually get the panini with tomato paste and chicken with cheese sprouts and all the fixins! Lunch time they seem to be busy but they get you through the line pretty quickly. Love this place, great for a quick bite, grab and go, or to sip your coffee and digest your food all while working on the pc yup thats right, free wifi!

Bagels are one of those breads that beg to be bought at a bagel bakery like Bruegger's. (That was 8 b's in case you were counting.) For some reason bagels from the grocery store just aren't as good as the ones bought in stores like this. I've only had Bruegger's wheat bagel. It's not just wheat flour. It has other grains like small nuts and millet mixed it. The truly whole grain nature of this bagel gives me permission to soak my bagel in European butter: decedent and delicious. The bagels are cheap: $1 and some change for one without any toppings. They also put signs up to let you know which bagels are hot. SOLD!

Ok, today I'm going to whine a wee bit. I love Bruegger's. I loved Bruegger's for about 7 years when I lived in Franklin - I would get myself a ham and cheese bagel for lunch, and a plain bagel for my youngest to gnaw on/teethe on, haha. I missed Bruegger's oh so much when we lived in Tampa for 5 years and never found a suitable replacement for it. It was Bruegger's or nothing. So, we've been in Brentwood 5 years now, and I'm loving them again. My whine is the limited hours. I realize bagels tend to be a breakfast item, but my stomach dictates when I want a bagel and cream cheese. I am not a morning person AT ALL! And, i don't do breakfast? in fact, many times i don't eat anything until mid-day and its practically closing time for y'all by then!! I can't tell you how many times my family and I have wanted to nosh there, but we are too late. Bagels are a great food for athletes to eat, and my boys would be downing quite a few if you stayed open later. Even staying open til just like 7 PM would be a huge help and enable us to ingest more of your scrumptious morsels. We just want more of you, Bruegger's.

Best bagel in town. Period. The coffee is Green Mountain Coffee and pretty darn good. However, back the bagels. They have all the flavors that are popular...but this place masters the right texture of a bagel. Too many places in Nashville make rolls in the form of a bagel and most peeps around here don't even know what a real bagel should feel like in terms of texture. The outside requires a bit of a bite to break through slightly tough texture. However, the inside has the right density and chewiness that makes a piece of dough a true bagel. The bagels are made on site from mixing, proofing, water bath, time in the oven and served up piping hot. In fact, look for the "HOT" label they hang on a basket of freshly made bagels. I don't care what the flavor is...I get the hot one. If you miss the "right place at the right time" have no fear, just order up a bagel and they will slice it and toast it for you. They have a full menu of sandwiches and soups...but, I have only done the bfast thing. Tam, the cashier, is the best. She will soon remember your coffee order and will prepare it before you even hit the counter. She' rocks. This could be a 5 Star Joint if two things occurred: comfortable chairs to camp in and the egg for the bagels were cooked to order. This is my spot! Love it.

Toasted cinnamon and sugar bagel with honey and walnut cream cheese and a water $2.65. Although Panera IMHO is better, this location has a chattier atmosphere and is less cumbersome if you are in the mood for a bagel. Wifi was plenty fast, and regular customers were friendly.

So after an early morning drive to get my fiance to work, famished and half-way home, I decided to stop and get a bagel with something on it and spend no more than 5 to 6 dollar for it and a morning drink. Now I don't know about most people; but when it comes to breakfast, I have a very picky stomach in the morning. All I will say is that if I eat food that is to greasy or to much dairy, I get a very upset stomach. So walking in I saw a board filled with bagel sandwiches laden with all sorts of meats and cheeses, all of which I am sure were quite tasty, but would not sit well with me. In the end I decided on a sesame seed bagel with a slice of cheddar cheese, egg-whites (I think they were poached or lightly fried), and a smear of sun-dried tomato spread, along side a glass of orange juice. The sandwich was amazing, and nice and hot too. The flavors blended perfectly and the juice was fresh and full of pulp, which is how I like it. As for the service, the staff was very nice and welcoming. The guy who prepared my breakfast was patient waiting for me to decide and even when I could not locate the sesame bagels on the rack, he knew exactly where to look. I might return here some time... or at the very least, try to replicate the sandwich at home. This was definitely one of the best breakfasts I have had for under $6 in a long time.

Possibly the best bagel spot in Nashville. The smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel is just about the best one I've had since moving to Nashville. The coffee is really good too. If you like a good bagel and coffee for breakfast then Bruegger's is a must.

Besides having a motley crew of workers (one worker is particularly flirtatious and hilarious), I'm not mad about this place at all. It's super fast, relatively cheap, and a great lunch place to frequent. I got the Herby Turkey sandwich on a bagel, and it was really tasty. The only thing I will do differently next time is to get sliced bread instead. Every time i took a bite of the bagel sandwich, I had to reassemble. I also had the Chicken Spaetzle soup, and it was delish! Do try it out!

Had to satisfy my bagel craving... Moved to Murfreesboro from Michigan and used to eat at big apple all the time. Tried Brueggers and it was great! The bagels were VERY small though, that would be my only complaint but I will be back
