Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

The food is decent . I mainly go for the hibachi grill ( get my stuff freshly made from the grill) hot and sour soup and crab Rangoon . I use to go here all the time but stop going because the place always felt dirty in there . Like they need to redecorate and throw away the blinds and chairs and get new ones ( you'll know what I'm talking about when you go) Sometimes you can tell when the food is old like they had it out over night . Not a bad place to go if you're in the area I guess .

WARNING: No! Just plain no. Some of the food tasted good, but it feels like a dirty place. Some sort of windowless warehouse. Can't miss the loading dock at the front door. Should have turned back there, but NO, I had to go in. DOH!

I hate to say this but I was really disappointed. Bad quality food. The sushi looked like it was sitting there for days. Not even the cake was worth it..

Rice noodles rock hard - the place is run down and no so clean - honestly - I wouldn't bring my family here anymore.

Okay. That's really all I can say about this place. The food isn't great. I had a full plate of sweet and sour chicken and I can say I've had much better. The chicken wasn't crispy, just somewhat soft. If you like your chicken like that you'd love this place. The atmosphere is even worse. Imagine your average strip mall Chinese place, then take away all the Chinese aspects save for a koi pond and two or three Chinese characters on the walls. However, my entire family loves this place. Maybe, I just have too high tastes (Joke)

It's a low-priced all-you-can-eat buffet. Keep that in mind and you'll be happy. My friends and I go there pretty often for lunch and leave fat and happy. I like the underused grill where they'll cook the raw ingredients you choose. I grab a plate of sushi, which I really like, and by the time I'm done my grilled food is ready. I also like the egg drop soup and a couple of dishes with fake krab. The mushrooms, too. I generally avoid food that's supposed to be crispy, like egg rolls, because they'll never be great on a steam table. The rest of the food is what-you-see-is-what-you-get. I pass over the stuff that doesn't look appealing, fill my plate with a sampling of things that look fresh and tasty, and then get seconds on the stuff that tastes great. That's how you work a buffet.

The food is ok. It needs renovation. For the same price I can go to different local buffets that has opened in the area and have better and more food. The sushi selection is very narrow in here. And they have hibachi.

I would skip this place and go to Koi in Hermitage. I haven't dined here in well over two yrs mainly because they got a failing grade with the health inspection. However I decided to give them another shot. 1. Your child, a toddler, should never be at work with you much less allowed to roam freely screaming touching everything. There is no tell where her hands have been. 2. I got there right at opening. Can someone tell me why the chicken on a stick tasted like it was a week old and tough as nails? 3. I got absolutely no service because my server was chasing the child around. I had to get up and go to the front telling the counter person I need to go. Needless to say I left no tip! 4. The tempura chicken for sweet and sour chicken were huge. This wouldn't be a problem if there was actual chicken in there instead of raw tempura batter. I guess it's needless to say that I gave it another try and this will be my last time here. I know it's an Asian buffet and should expect mediocre food, but this wasn't even near that level. The service sucks, the food is probably just reheated from the night before, and there are much better options for Asian buffet food here in Nashville.

We have vistited this restaurant twice. It is right across the street from us so we thought we would give it a try. They have a massive variety of different foods on the buffet which I really liked. I like being able to try a little bit of everything. Some of the items were not very good at all. I have definitely had better at other Chinese restaurants. Every now and then I would choose an item that was really good! The setup of the restaurant is really appealing. They have a small pond and a big tree in there. I think that is a fun touch that they added. I just wish they would work on perfecting some of their food. If they could get more of the selections right, this place would be perfect. As it is now, it is just mediocre. Not a place I want to visit often.

Been there many time but tonight was different. Everything was good till a roach ran across the table. That means we'll have to find a new place to eat.

The past 2 times I've visited China Pan, it's just been ho hum. My excitement for it has waned. Today the things that were supposed to be crispy on the outside (spring rolls, sesame chicken) were soggy--and dishes were crusty (pepper chicken) that shouldn't have been. The water tasted like dish soap but my server ignored me. Fortunately, I happened to have my own water with me. The hibachi grill was still pretty decent but the chef wouldn't even make eye contact with me so I could specify sauces. The raw mushrooms also had not been cleaned! Ohhhh welllll....

Its not gourmet but it fills the need for Chinese. I enjoy their Lo Mein Noodles and crab rangoon. Good value for the money.

It appears I'm odd woman out here, but I do like this place. No it's not authentic and yes it's buffett, but let's just allow the place to be what it is. It's a chinese buffet. Besides the standard fare, they have a pretty good selection of sushi in here, more than I would ever expect from a place like this. Considering you'll pay four dollars for a couple pieces of sushi at some places, being able to throw ten peices on top of your buffet selections is awesome. They have a koi pond up front, which I have mixed feelings about. It has smelt fishy before, but I couldn't tell they were there at all during my last visit. You can't tell unless you're right next to it though. I'd say it's worth a try.

I've only been here for the lunch buffet, which seems to be a theme. I didn't love it and I probably won't go back, but it wasn't bad. They had more food than I could possibly imagine, it's divided into chicken, seafood, beef, dessert, I think. Some of the food was pretty good, and some of it was pretty lousy. I liked the fried rice and sesame chicken. The egg roles were okay too. I stayed away from the seafood and beef entirely. They have this ice cream bar... were you literally go up, get a scooper and dig out your own ice cream from cartons. It was really weird. The waitress was really attentive though, and kept our drinks coming and cleared our used plates quickly. I don't remember how much I spent, but it wasn't too bad.

I have been here a couple of times now for carry-out, and have been very pleased with the menu, food, and staff. It is Americanized Chinese food, so don't go expecting authenticity, but if you want hot fast Chinese-American comfort food to go then it's perfect. I'll definitely be back.

In the grand scale of Chinese buffets, this place isn't bad, but then it's not great either. Their dessert section is actually fantastic for a Chinese buffet. Their ice creams are just your standard fare. Their sushi is actually not bad, hibachi is fast and the guy working there is responsive to what you want. Do not eat whatever they're trying to pass off as dim sum. Everything else is just, y'know, your average Americanized Chinese food. Their fruit section left a lot to be desired, though, and they had this disgusting, rubbery, inedible, vaguely yellow stuff labeled "flan". That's insulting to flan, and insulting to me as a customer. Service is very prompt and responsive, though, and their mei fun isn't bad.

Don't get your hopes up or travel long distances to eat here. This place is a normal Chinese Buffet. The food is not bad. They have a larger amount of Sushi than most buffets. I was'nt to satisfied with it. But that's me. Mongolian Chicken is great, General Tso's Chicken, thumbs up!!! It had a little kick like its supposed to. The chicken and broccolli was wierd tasting. Basically this is a normal buffet that has pizza, french fries and fried chicken for kids. Than the Chinese part thats pretty good. Better than some buffets. They also have the grill where the chef will cook you up some meat/fish/vegatables on the grill.

I have no idea how I stumbled across this weird hole in the wall Asian eatery. This place could clearly benefit from some better management. It is your standard all you can eat Chinese buffet. They also have a menu, but I don't know anyone who goes to places like this to order off of the menu. The food was mediocre at best. Of course they have fried shrimp, General Taos chicken, wanton soup, etc. The fried shrimp was exceptionally soggy and biting into it was not a pleasant experience. To my surprise, the mixed vegetables that they offered were *surprisingly* crisp and fresh tasting. Overall, next time I am lost around this area, I think I might just go to the Chic-Fil-A at the next exit.
