Westbound on I 90, we were looking for a place for dinner, found Claudia's Cafe via Yelp. Food was great. I had a Patty Melt & fries. Thick burger done just right with grilled onions & cheese. My wife had Broasted Chicken. 2 pieces, baked potato & salad. She said it was VERY good & the salad was fresh. The ambiance is small town diner, which we we liked. Everyone.....restaurant staff & fellow patrons.....we're quite pleasant. Well worth an exit at White Lake, SD.

My brother and sister-in-law own and operate this cafe and sometimes I'm in the kitchen. I've had folks from Australia say that they just ate the best burger ever and have not had anyone complain about the food. I have had people complain that they didn't want the green peppers in their breakfast burrito, and did have one person state that the flavor of a certain chicken dish was not what they expected. That's the worst of it. The best is that you'll get some great food smack in the middle of nowhere.
