Diabetics at Jamba Juice:
Eating good food at the right time can control your blood sugar, also stop you from craving wrong sort of food. Jamba Juice offers drinks in three separate sizes: 16, 24, and 32-ounce. You can choose the lowest serving size and cut down on sugars and calorie intake. If you're diabetic and concerned about the sugar intake, then you can opt for the smaller 9.5-ounce smoothies available for kids at Jamba Juice.
Foods to Avoid at Jamba Juice for Diabetics:
Jamba Juice is primarily known for its highly satisfying and nutritive smoothies and juices. Almost every smoothie and juice item on the Jamba Juice menu contains sugar. Diabetics are recommended to opt for smaller serving size while ordering at Jamba Juice. Also, avoid opting for creamy treats as all the smoothies offered in this category contain a load of sugars.
Keep the sugar content below 50g per meal at Jamba Juice and ensure that you don't follow it with a heavy meal. A small size regular smoothie is equivalent to a meal for everyone. Classic smoothies at Jamba Juice are also heavily loaded with sugars. Stay away from that section if you are a diabetic.

This is my favorite place in Sturgis. It should be rated much higher but at one point several years ago it was under different management with the same name and was a completely different place. Now they have more unique dishes and a better atmosphere then your average small town place. Most things are from scratch. Their chicken strips are like homemade fried chicken and their soups are always delicious. The service is excellent, friendly and efficient. Some of my favorite items include the savannah sandwich and the Thai chicken - either the regular wrap or the lettuce wrap appetizer. Anything with their roast beef or house smoked pork is a winner. Steak tips with garlic mashed potatoes are excellent. My whole family gobbles up their homemade potato chips

Agree with most of what was already reviewed. Service here was southern hospitality at its finest! Food was also very delicious. The shrimp po boy and nachos were extremely good. A rare gem in Sturgis!

Came in for lunch. Husband and I left feeling it was just okay...pretty heavy and not a lot of flavor.

Really unique food in a place where you would least expect it. We had lunch and breakfast and have not been disappointed. Outstanding service is the norm. A little pricy but well worth it considering the menu.

This place has delicious breakfast! Great service and food. As well as a great buffet on Sundays!

I loved the atmosphere, and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, they had trouble getting my order right, even though I ordered directly from the menu. I ordered unsweet tea and got sweet, I ordered rice and got mashed potatoes and gravy, and the grilled vegetables are clearly grilled ahead of time and kept in the refrigerator based on the temperature that I received them. They replaced everything quickly and in good humor. I assume because I was dining alone I got very little attention, I had to wave someone down for more crackers to go with my chili, never got any refill on my drink. The food was reasonable though too expensive. They charged a dinner price for a lunch sized portion.

Honestly one of my biggest complaints with the place is claiming they make "soul food". Nothing on the menu resembled anything close to Southern, Cajun or soul food. Just because you stick some gumbo on your menu and decorate the place with weird stuff doesn't mean you have a Southern restaurant. Out of the four of us who went there only one of us left satisfied. There was really nothing special about the place. It was basic frozen food that you could find anywhere.

Stopped in for a late Sunday breakfast on my way through town. The buffet was good if closing down. The two girls serving elevated the experience though. One, Shay, noticed a customer in a wheelchair struggling to see the buffet options. She was straight there, describing everything, helping without overstepping. The other waitress, never did get her name but she was the more buxom one, went to great lengths to ensure the customer knew they were always right. She was also interested in stories from those who've travelled and was a pleasure to talk to, even if she does think all British people go to Hogwarts. A cool, relaxed place, decent food, huge cinnamon rolls and great, attentive waitresses.

All I can say is the food filled the void in my tummy. The ribs were on special for $10. The menu states they smoke their own so I expected I couldn't go wrong. There was only three others eating at the time. The rib meat almost had the consistency of processed meat...rubbery texture, but somewhat tender. Heavily coated in a good sauce, but heavy. They were borderline warm, closer to a cool temp. The fries were good and crisp. I barely touched the small cup of slaw, it lacked flavor of any kind, and I questioned if I would have an issue later in the evening. I had a full mason jar of Shock Top...which was cold, and the staff was friendly. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but would try a burger for lunch.

ok...this is my favorite place in Sturgis. ..as a local. however, Sturgis, as a city has the worst food I have ever tasted. I come from the East coast. this area has a lot to learn.

Their gumbo rivals any that you would get in the Mississippi Delta. Friendly staff. Great po-boy sand which and good cold local beer, what more do you need?

I have been on the road all day, seen some Very Large Heads of past presidents, seen alligators in a land locked state, seen a giant rock carving of Crazy Horse, and Bear Country... what else? Just off the highway in Sturgis is a Cajun restaurant - is it another tourist trap I wonder? Is this another displaced fellow in the Black Hills trying to find himself? Either way - this place serves some pretty good Food! We stopped in here looking to satisfy hunger. We have been back three times. On each occasion, we have had great service - the team there makes you feel like you have been a resident of this small town your entire life. We have had seafood, pasta, salad and chicken - all were great. See you soon Jambonz!
