At Wall Drug I was lucky enough to find the right lady to ask where to get a steak in town. When I asked her she said, "Well, I don't think too highly of the food in town but down the road I'm quite fond of the food at the Two Bit, and it just so happens they serve their full menu today." Well, following her directions I found my way to the Two Bit Saloon and Steakhouse in Quinn and I'm glad I did. I was also lucky enough to make it on a Friday because they only serve the full menu on Friday and Saturday. I had the 12 ounce ribeye with mashed potatoes, which came with the salad bar. I started with the cheeseballs, which were essentially fried cheese curds. The steak was perfectly cooked and a generous size. The homemade mashed potatoes were better than the best thanksgiving mashers. I promptly devoured the steak and potatoes leaving a completely cleaned plate. The people there were extremely friendly, and the service rivaled that of the best restaurants even with only one server working. The cook came out and spoke with us and asked how our meal was, but I let my clean plate speak for itself. The cook explained that even though the full menu is only Friday and Saturday, the is a special and limited menu every day. If I'm ever in Wall, South Dakota again or near Quinn, I would come back without hesitation.

A wonderful place for dinner!!!! Fresh delicious Salads! The soup was homemade and the steaks and potatoes with onions and peppers were delicious. It is clean and everyone was friendly and welcoming. You can sit on the bar side to eat dinner on the restaurant side

Thanks to other yelpers we found this place and agree--it's the best thing going for a good meal near the Badlands! Worth the drive out for the local flare and great food. My boyfriend had the prime rib and couldn't stop raving about it. Not eating meat in that part of the country can be difficult but they offer grilled shrimp that were really very good--even the bartender said it was one of his favorites on the menu!

Well we were visiting Wall, SD and wanted to eat out. We read the reviews and thought this would be a good place. Service was ok the waitress friendly but that is where it ends. The salad bar had only 3 or 4 items and soup. We ordered a 12 ounce rib eye for $22.95 and about 6 ounces of it was fat. My 7 ounce sirloin was almost raw and was more like 5 ounces. We will not go back very disappointing.

The food at the Two Bit is awesome! Great staff! Fantastic prices. Stopped while visiting from Pennsylvania. Would definitely stop here again. Beef tips and cheese balls were off the hook!

This place is a great example of why Yelp exists. I was visiting badlands and couldn't find a decent place to eat dinner. If you stay in Wall, there's absolutely nothing worth trying. This place is perfect for anyone who lives in a big city (e.g., NYC, LA, Vancouver, Toronto) and wants try some local food while passing through South Dakota. Quirky, friendly vibe. Real locals drinking at the bar. No families or kids. Simple but decent meat-oriented menu. I had the prime rib sandwich, which was minimalist in presentation but delicious. The sandwich portions are small so order 2 (they're only $5 each). Don't be thrown off by the nondescript exterior and the 5 minute drive to Quinn. This place is worth it!
