We have been to this establishment twice: and they haven't disappointed us yet! Amazing steaks! And drinks! Steak (ribeye) is so juicy and tender. The sweet potato was cooked to perfection and the salad had very crisp fresh lettuce. Very happy and will continue to go here!

Worst Prime Rib I've ever eaten. Dry and tasteless. What they did to this piece of meat was a sin. The green beans tasted fresh, from the can. The Buffalo Chips I had were the best part of the meal. I sat at the bar and service was slow but the bartender was very busy. They were very busy for a Sunday night. There was a line to get in. At least the beer was cold. 40$ with tip. Awesome.

We have been on the road for 2 weeks and having to eat at all sorts of places. So we decided to treat ourselves to a steak. Hands down one of the best steaks I've ever had. The filet was so tender and juicy. It was cooked to perfection. Great service and squeaky clean. Good job guys!

This recently opened in Mitchell. Very good! Full bar, excellent staff and customer service. It's only open for dinner, and doesn't take reservations, so get there before you're hungry! You can order drinks and wait (or eat) at the bar or take your drinks outside or to the entry area. We had stuffed mushrooms and buffalo chips for the appetizers. Very good! Our first night we had the bacon wrapped fillet and too sirloin. We ordered medium- and they came out perfectly! Juicy, seasoning not overwhelming. Our second night there we are later- the steaks were over done per our requests- could be because we ate later....not ideal though. I had the prime rib: HOLY COW! Get the prime rib! You won't regret it! We had green beans for sides- fresh, and not slathered in butter. Salads come out as a mini salad bar, where you can add toppings yourself. The red blend wine is very good. Smooth. Not too dry. Chocolate cake desert: amazing! Customer service is excellent. 4 stars due to our second visit there with the steaks being over done.

Back home for the holidays to see my family and as usual banter goes I asked my Father what was new in town. He mentioned a few new shopping stores and couple that closed and then said, "Hey there is a new steakhouse and we got a gift certificate from a friend. We should go check it out!" We arrived around 6pm and the place was half full. It was a brand new rectangular building that was wide open with booths on the perimeter and tables in the middle. Reminded me of a school cafeteria but with old farming antiques nailed to the walls. I was excited to try a steak before I saw the menu. I love a well seasoned and prepared NY strip. But the menu was simple, any sized top sirloin or prime rib you want as well as a few burger options. Top sirloin is my least favorite cut so I decided to have a mushroom and swiss burger instead. I ordered the burger medium and the rest of the table order theirs well-done, so mine came well-done along with everyone else's. The mushrooms were of the canned variety and sautéed in a little butter and the Swiss cheese was the Kraft singles style. My side were the buffalo fries which were tasty. Our server was great and the prices were average, but I think there are better places in Mitchell to get a steak or burger.

Ate at Cattleman's tonight and was not too impressed. There was not a wait to be seated but we still sat for 7 minutes without service. After we ordered, we sat a few more before getting our beverages. The servers appeared to have no restaurant knowledge, teamwork, or personality. The meals did not take too long to receive. The prime rib and steak were cooked and seasoned amazingly. We did tip well; however next time our tip will go to the chefs instead of the waitress.

The dinner salad is why this is a one star review. You get luke-warm dishes filled with cheese, onions, and such that are passed from table to table. This is a disgusting practice. The spoon for the cheese had ranch or mayonnaise covering the handle. Needless to say I did not eat my salad. The server didn't even comment on my lack of interest in the salad. Never got the refill I asked for :( We were waiting to be seated at the bar, where the bartender was nice and attentive. They were not too busy but there were so many dirty tables, which is why we couldn't be seated. The menu is very basic. I had a burger. It was...meh. The menu is mostly fried food. I won't return. If you are looking for fried food, go to the closest bar or gas station as they no doubt carry the same cheese balls and onion rings. If you are looking for a steak, I suggest Whiskey Creek.

Came here while passing through on a cross-county drive. I had the prime rib, and my dad had the top sirloin. Both were fantastic. The prime rib was practically falling apart on the plate it was so tender, and the sirloin was perfectly seasoned. If I didn't live a thousand miles away, I'd be back again soon.

I had a fantastic experience the minute I walked in the door. Super friendly staff and very accommodating for a larger group. The food didn't disappoint. The prime rib was as good as everyone described it...great cocktails as well. I'm looking forward to going back soon.

The best steakhouse and prime rib in town! Great service and a family friendly atmosphere! Wide variety of steaks, prime rib, burgers as well as a kids menu. Full bar and wine list as well. Top pick for a date night or night out with friends or family!

This is my second visit here. This time the prime rib was very favorable but the side dishes were not so good. My sweet potato was cooked to death and the green beans were canned. Next visit I am going to try Louis's.

I ate here when they first opened last fall and it was ok. I've been back several times since then and everything has been great. It's a pretty basic place but the people are always friendly and it's probably the best steaks I've ever had.

The atmosphere was ok. Cheap chairs and tables surrounded by a nice new building. As I have heard they ran out of the premium cuts so you settle for a cheaper cut of meat or monster big steak. The steak was over charred, tasteless unless you consider the pound of salt , and only one of 5 was correctly cooked. The soup and sides were excellent. I also will commend the excellent staff.
