Didn't think it was that bad for breakfast. Stopped here in the morning before heading to Mt. Rushmore, was quick and service was good. Don't know what everyone else is talking about, I wouldn't mind coming here again.

We had breakfast on our way to see Mt Rushmore and other sites in the Black Hills. The food was good, as was the service. Prices typical for the area.

If I could give them a -* I would. This place was the WORST meal weve had on our 10 day trip so far. We were both hungry for fried chicken & this place had a sign that said "Home Cooking" so we decided to go here for dinner. The fried chicken was inedible!!!! Have you ever warmed up fried chicken & left it in the oven 4 times longer than you should??? That would be this so called chicken. I got about 2 bites out of 3 pieces. People next to us ordered burgers & they were pre formed frozen burgers that had been nuked!!! Do NOT go to this place!!!!!

Breakfast was, fast, good and reasonable in price. I am sure glad I did not read any reviews on this place before hand. LOL ! They must have fired the previous cook. We were there during slow season but, it was a cute little place and it was clean. It passed my wife's scrutiny tests. (not easy) I had the biscuits and gravy, $5.95 (ding) ! My wife had a short stack of pancakes, with a side of good, crisp bacon. (ding-ding) Good coffee also. We will return ! In the peak season, I can't imagine how busy things must be, and the general public, can be real morons !

Was seated quickly, but the service and food was horrid! Food took 45 minutes to come out after we ordered, flies were EVERYWHERE, the food was cold, and the waitress was very slow. We asked for a manager to come out to comment on the food, so they had the chef come out. There's no manger on the site so we were given a card with a number to call. When the chef came out, we told him what was wrong with the good and all he said was "it just came off the grill" instead of trying to correct the error. Never going here again....I DON'T recommend this place. Choose the place across the street that's not over priced.

One start is generous for this place. Walked in and was seated at a table too small. Then we moved and the service was slow. After looking at the buffet we decided to leave. The food looked old, dried out and just not very good. Then we went across the street to Teddy's Deli and had a much better meal for a lot less money. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Although the servicer was friendly and the fast, the fried chicken I ordered was terribly dry. Mashed potatoes/gravy were good but the green beans were right out of a can. To be fair, the waitress did ask a couple of times if everything was ok and I said "ok" so this is really not a fair review since I did not speak up & give them an opportunity to make the food right. My wife wasn't crazy about her chicken fried steak--too much breading. We both would not recommend this place.

Do not eat here.. You will get sick for sure... They never wash their hands. The bathroom is nasty no soap no towels.. And the nasty bitch the is the host is the worst.. This place was so bad we walked out..

Quickly seated. That's the only good thing. Our waiter was slower than a turtle going uphill. We ordered 2 Pepsi and 1 diet Pepsi. He brought 2 drinks and walked off. We asked for the third drink and he just said "we don't have diet Pepsi". He started to leave and I said can I maybe get some orange juice? The people beside us were equally frustrated at the slow service. Food never came and the straw that broke the camels back was watching our waiter take the trash out at the door by the buffet then go back to the kitchen and handle the plates / food without even washing his hands! We left $5 for our drinks we never finished and walked out. NEVER AGAIN . Someone should be fired....perhaps the owner? I'm giving a 1 star only because yelp will not save my review without a rating. Wish there was a negative star.

Ordered the breakfast buffet. Expensive for what is offered. Food was typical buffet experience. The biscuits were really fresh and yummy! Don't expect a lot of choices. Some fresh fruit, but mostly canned. Waitstaff was nice but the guy at the register was rude. He seemed inconvenienced that we were there, barely spoke. Wrong guy to have up front! Bathrooms clean.
