We stayed in Keystone for three nights and we had dinner at Big Time Pizza twice. It's that good. The crust is just the perfect amount of thickness and softness, the cheese tastes like real cheese... it's wonderful. Our first night we ate here just because it was on the first floor of our hotel and we were exhausted. Pizza sounded great. We went with the 16" pizza (1/2 cheese and pepperoni) and devoured it. Our last night in town my kids wanted to go back to Big Time Pizza again. We decided to get the largest pizza, and that was a bit ambitious, but we still finished it. We had a long chat with one of the owners. She was having a Russian beer and rolling silverware and we struck up a conversation. She's pretty awesome, and we left feeling like we had all the local scoop. The beer selection here is fun. Russian beers (you can get a pitcher of one type for only $8). We tried a few different ones and liked them, however the pitcher has a bit of a peculiar taste. Probably tastes better after you've had a few of the others first. Even though this is a generally touristy town Big Time Pizza will make you feel like a local. It's no fuss and super tasty.

The best pizza in the Black Hills! Big Time Pizza is the perfect place to stop while vacationing in South Dakota. Just minutes from Mount Rushmore, it is a convenient place to stop. The pizza is delicious and affordably priced! My favorite is the Firehouse Pizza which has, jalapenos, banana peppers, and pepperoni. The Buffalo pizza is another great choice! I highly recommend Big Time Pizza, you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu.

Great pizza not a fancy place but great. Had to get own drinks located inside hotel. We had a large group and food was delivered fast.

One of the top 10 best pizzas I've ever tried. We tried the Buffalo pizza with mushrooms and green peppers and it was great. Staff was also very friendly. Will definitely come back soon.

This place serves up some pretty delicious pizza. The Russian beer, Baltika, was pretty good and priced reasonably ($8 per pitcher). The women running the place were very friendly and had a great sense of humor.

  • Meghan P.

The pizza was ok, not bad but not amazing. It was solidly ok pizza. It was though just what was needed. The Russian beer was surprisingly good!

  • Toni P.

The pizza is to die for. We ordered the Firehouse. Jalapeños pepperoni banana peppers onions and crushed red pepper. And to drink. A Baltika beer #9. Extra lager. Get the pitcher. The crust is perfect all the way to the middle of the pie.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! We ordered to go and the very nice lady working the counter & waiting tables offered to bring the pizza out to the parking lot where my family was waiting in the Suburban. The place smelled great and it reminded me of the East coast pizza joints I grew up going to in Pennsylvania. We took it back to our rental and it was WONDERFUL. It's everything you could want in a NY style of pizza. Granted, it was pricey...a 20" pizza half pepperoni & cheese and the other half Hawaiian cost $35.00 BUT when you're in a tourist town, you've got to pay to play. The pizza was delicious and the service was great.

Great pizza! Friendly environment. A little slow, but the service was kind and pizza was delicious. Also, I hear they are wanting to sell...

Not bad! Lots of cheese. Ingredients tasted yummy. The crust just tasted too healthy.. Lol! But I would go back again when revisiting the mount rushmore area! :-) :-) :-)

You want to know how awesome this pizza is? I drove from Hermosa Beach, CA twice to eat there. Ok, I was driving across the country and this was a via point, but still... I made it a point to drive through keystone and hit up Big Time. Bottome line: The pizza is thick and super filling with fresh toppings. Also, they sell Baltica #9 on tap and by the pitcher. I've never been to a place in the US that does that. Give it a try. It's got to be better than the touristy garbage around Rushmore.

  • DJ L.

Pizza was really good! Lady at counter extremely friendly. Some restrictions on which pizzas can be split half and half made it impossible for my family to get what they wanted though. Also we got there at 2.15pm and, for some reason, they had closed the inside seating area and so we had to sit outside (which was hot!). I guess I would go back for the pizza again though.

  • Chris H.

Absolutely amazing pizza! Wow probably the best pizza I have ever had. It tasted fresh and homemade. If you are close by skip everything u are doing and come grab a pizza!

We made the mistake of going in later in the evening, and unfortunately I think this speaks to why our experience was less than impressive. First, pizza was on point! Second- everything else was not... Spaghetti order with meat balls that were semi frozen in the middle, and salad bar was scraps of what was left from the day.

  • Kate H.

This is the best pizza I have ever had!!!! My whole family thinks so too. The crust is thin in the middle but puffy on the edges, light on the sauce, and had plenty of cheese and toppings. It is the best and the prices are reasonable too. We paid $41 for a 20 in. pizza that had 4 sections called The Quad. Pepperoni, Supreme, Cheese, and Meat Combo. It was perfect for our family of 5. The shop is conveniently located on the first floor of the Roosevelt Inn and Suites where we were staying. The owners roamed around talking to the guests and they and the rest of the staff were pleasant and efficient. I wish they were a chain and had a store here in So Cal. LOVED! LOVED! LOVED!

Pizza is ok, Freschetta frozen is better. Those who said the pizza is "that good" may not eat pizza more than a couple times a year.

Worth the walk in the rain ! Another pizza place in town was backed up ( a lot of people ordering delivery probably because of the rain ) we walked the 5 blocks or so to Have pizza . We were promptly seated and the pizza and drink menu explained . We ordered the quad and it was fantastic ! One of the best pizzas I ever had . You could tell they used quality ingredients and there was a ton of toppings and cheese on all the right places . My favorite slice was an all meat slice . The pepperoni was slightly spicy and added a great flavor . The cheese pizza was extra gooey and we loved it . Now I am not a crust eater it will usually go to waste but there's was great reminded me of bread sticks and had some seasoning on it . The staff was fantastic the waitress always came by to see if we needed anything . Other staff came by to make sure we were doing ok and made sure we had no issues . Jokingly we asked our server if she would get our car and she said not a problem , we then told her it was blocks away and she seemed concerned we had to walk that far in the rain and offered us trash bags to "wear" as ponchos so we wouldn't get wet . Very friendly , I'm sure on our next return visit we will stop by again !

It was just fine. We had finished a fantastic morning at the tree aerial course across the street so we were hungry and it was pizza! It's Keystone, not a lot of quality options to start with and down the hill from the big attraction of Mt. Rushmore. Figuring pizza was their specialty we stuck with that and didn't try anything else. My instincts told me the salads here might be disappointing.

  • Fred S.

Pizza wasn't bad but service and setting left a little to be desired. The old couple that own the place are trying to sell it and made it a point to tell us how hard work it was and that they are ready to retire. Not great marketing. Place was basically empty when we were there for lunch.

    (3)
  • Leah R.

Hands down the best pizza we have ever had (in the USA)!!! The quad had a favorite for everyone in the family. If you find yourself at Mt Rushmore stop by. Also they had some excellent beer-- from Russia of all places... Unique and excellent experience! We'll be back if we find ourselves in Keystone again. Oh and it's "for sale by owner" so if you buy it don't mess it up!

    (5)
  • Kaley S.

Casual pizza joint for locals & tourists alike. This was one of the only spots open during Mt. Rushmore's "shoulder season" (pre-tourists). Family-owned with super casual atmosphere, good spot to get good pizza and a beer and watch the game! They only have this Russian beer Baltika (I think the owner is Russian) which you order by the number, there's nine of them -- our waitress really, really, pushed the highest ABV over and over--and we tried a couple different ones, they were all decent. The Good: Homemade pizza & Russian beer! The Bad: Nothing was bad, yay! Pizza was slow (see the sign!) but that's ok, it's homemade. The Food: Pizza was tasty and homemade, no complaints! The Service: Friendly if somewhat, er, tipsy...(we were one of the last tables though) Overall: Recommended if you're in the area, there's not tons of food options around and this is a good spot for homemade pizza.

    (3)
  • Jennifer C.

The pizza is amazing and their service is friendly and attentive. We ordered a 16" pepperoni with drinks and spent less than McDonalds!! We look forward to dining again on our next visit to Keystone.

  • Lindsey-Star D.

Best pizza in town and SD, hands down. What more needs to be said?! No local discount, but worth every penny. Closes in winter like everything else in Keystone.

  • Blayne H.

I hate myself for how much I enjoy this pizza. The women who owns it is always in front, working the counter and complaining about how low staffed they are. I've never seen another employee working in the many guilty pleasure pizza pickups, so she's probably got a valid concern. On my first visit, she even complained about how much business get were getting! Understandably, this turned me off slightly. I decided, since I was already there, I should just go for it. The wait was long, but not unreasonable, because I'm sure it was all made to order. It was so worth the wait. God damnit, it's so good. The crust is like fired in the oven they must have built out of stone or some shit because it's perfectly crispy every time. The sauce isn't too sweet, isn't too flat, it's just right. Just thinking about the melty cheese brings a tear to my eye. I've had pizzas in NYC, in Chicago, and none have even compared to how absurdly good this thing was. The restaurant itself is really nothing special. But if you don't stop in here on your way through Keystone, you've really missed out.

This town has more pizza places than NY, at least seems that way. This one was in our hotel, so it made it easy to choose. The quad was the way to go for our family and it was great. Crust had a nice crunch, but not hard. Plenty of cheese and sauce, nice ratio. They are generous with the toppings. Great beer selection too.

    (5)
  • Mitchell D.

Meh. It was about what I expect for non-NY pizza. Crust was a little too thick & spongy, cheese had a chewy texture, sauce unimpressive. Closer on the spectrum to DiGiornos. Still pizza though, so it'll always do. We had the quad, to get a good variety of toppings. One quarter was meat lovers. It included those little balls that I think are sausage. It reminded me of the winner of the contest to identify last night's dinner in the movie Meatballs ("some kind of meat"). Service was ok but not friendly.

My family and I came to Keystone mainly to see Mount Rushmore. On our first night we ate at Big Time Pizza. Being born and raised in New York City, I knew Big Time Pizza had a lot to live up to since I've had my fair share of good pizzas all my life. I normally am a thin crust pizza girl, but their crust was the complete opposite, and I didn't mind it! It was thick, fluffy, and with a hint of garlic. I definitely recommend Big Time Pizza for it's flavor and crust!

  • Karen O.

Good pizza. Even better subs. We got the Quad for the family- which had something for everyone.

  • Kristina M.

Great food. Great service. Mary and her husband were very nice. We stayed in the Roosevelt Inn that is attached to the pizza place so it was very convenient!

    (5)
  • Tess B.

Great pizza to the last bite. Sauce and crust are just as good as the fresh toppings. Fun choice of Russian beers. Great service. Only complaint I wish thy had some appetizers.

  • Mark H.

Poor service. Think gas station atmosphere and menu, except no broasted items. Messed up order, blamed computer, finally corrected it. Told them we would take the original pizza for a discount. Said they had already sold it. WE TOOK THE PIZZA TO OUR CAR BEFORE WE CHECKED TO SEE IF THEY GOT THE ORDER RIGHT! HOW CAN THEY SELL IT TO SOMEONE ELSE? Missed 1st half of World Cup game waiting on corrected pizza. No TV. After we finally got our pizza, it was good. They refunded our money after unloading their problems to my wife. Can't recommend going again.

This was a nice little restaurant near Mount Rushmore and had some of the best pizza I've ever had. With that being said, this place had huge potential, but did not really execute to the best of its potential. They do not have a lot of tables, so we had to wait for about five minutes before getting a table. It was not too bad, but you got the feel they are not this crowded a lot. On top of that, they got our order wrong and did not bring the right pizza out to us. Twice. Food: 5/5 Service: 2/5

  • Amanda J.

Super delicious pizza! It took a bit of time but well worth the wait. Clearly they make it all fresh. They were very accommodating as well because my sister is lactose intolerant and they were willing to make her a cheese less pizza. Perfect amount of sauce and cheese on my normal one. Would come back again for sure!

The pizza was great. We loved it. A bit pricey. But wellll worth the price. A locol turned us on to it.

Pizza is alright, similar to Domino's Pizza. Leftovers hit the spot the next day, perfect for a picnic in Badland National Park. My honey liked one of the Russian beers that they serve.

    (3)
  • Peggy R.

This was really good pizza! Fresh crisp crust and great ingredients. We shared a supreme and had some of the Russian beer (liked that so much we took some home!!) Service was friendly and expedient. We would go back!

  • Sam R.

We walk in and the first thing they say is "we have pizza and salads but no sandwiches, oh wait we don't have salads either". Really? all we wanted was a pizza. I found the menu too restricted, no half's on buffalo or this one comes in only one size. Pizza come out and it was good but not 4 stars good. Overall we liked it but never came back in our 4 day stay in the hotel right next door. BTW why cant you deliver? Keystone is only a mile long. Please reconsider

Just 5 mins from Mt Rushmore, this is a great spot for dinner! Family friendly atmosphere, a genuine Mom & Pop owned restaurant. The daughter was our server and spent some time chatting with us about the beer and the town as well the mom stopped by the table and was extremely friendly and a legit down to earth person. I can't go on enough about the family friendly atmosphere and the staff but let me tell u about the pizza. Simply Amazing! We ordered the quad 20 inch and I guess I wasn't thinking it would actually be 20 inches because it was crazy big. The crust was perfect, not soggy, chewy or to Overton just perfect! We had a 2 side salads which were just the right size for an appetizer and order a pitcher of their Russian beer (Baltika) which was great. The pizza is hand made which takes a bit longer to make but so worth it. The beer has a flavor all its own, it's not bitter like a pilsner and has a great after taste that holds that summer sweet taste! If u are in town this is for sure the place to go for a great family dinner! We could have feed at least 2 more people with the quad but it's always better to have more than less lol. If we are ever in this area again we will for sure come here!

Really rich, tasty pizza. A nice surprise to be found in such a tiny, tourist town where actors dress up like Wild West Cowboys and walk the street. Make sure you try the Russian beer featured here, and they sell bottles of wine for cheap as well. How cool is that? I notice Andrew G comparing it to the Za found in Chicago. I don't think this is a very fair comparison. It would be like me going to Chicago and complaining about the lack of beautiful rock formations. OMG WHERE ARE THEY?! People no doubt travel to big cities like Chicago for delicious food. At the same time people travel to beautiful tiny towns like Keystone for the gorgeous views and fresh air. The fact they have a very solid pizza place here is just a bonus. I look forward to returning to this place the next time I'm nearby.

After rolling into town from Chicago in the wake of being on the road for 15 hours, the family was ravenously hungry and the first thing that appeared when checking our phones for pizza was Big Time Pizza. There's some saying, I believe, that being hungry makes food taste exceptionally better than it otherwise would. Yet, if that's the case, I hate to imagine what the pizza we would have been like under normal circumstances. For the sake of full disclosure, it should be noted that we ordered the pizza to go since we were rushing to get to our hotel, eat and get settling in briefly before heading to watch the evening lighting at Mount Rushmore. Thus, the review is not reflective of the service at the restaurant. However, the pizza was definitely sub-par from what I've come to expect having grown up in the Windy City. After all, Chicago has some of the best pizza on the face of the planet. It doesn't matter what the ingredients on the pie are or, for the most part, where you order from. Though, if you order from a chain like Papa John's when there are a plethora of alternatives, you deserve that disappointment. But Big Time Pizza, without a doubt, offered small time flavor. We ordered the biggest pizza we could with nothing on it but bacon, somehow, this was still bland. Had I possessed barbecue, ranch or sriracha sauce, this dismal offering could have been rescued from the jaws of defeat. Unfortunately, without any outside help, taking this particular pizza as it is was little more than an exercise of hungered frustration and disappointment. Even the crust lacked any pop to make the meal feel worthwhile. I imagine what it must be like for the people who have never had the opportunity to savor a Chicago-style pizza with every last amazing thing that comes with that sacred verbal contract when ordering a slice or a whole pie, and I can't help but weep somewhat for the denizens of Keystone, South Dakota if this is the only offering in this particular culinary genre.

They don't open until 1pm! That is nuts! In a tourist town. . Really? No wonder Eno's Pizza is so busy at lunch! Sad that we had to settle for Eno's. . Too pricey. Open your doors to the hungry masses!

  • Beth E.

Really light, fluffy pizza dough with plenty of cheese and yummy toppings to match. I'm from Illinois, home of the famous Chicago pizza, and I thought it was delicious. I would highly recommend stopping here. Interesting Russian beers, would recommend # 7. Fantastic, friendly service as well.

    (5)
  • Scott S.

We absolutely love the pizza here, and the staff are friendly as well. They have stories to tell and customers who keep coming back year after year when they tour the Mount Rushmore/Crazy Horse/Custer area. There wasn't much open in Keystone (as we arrived after Labor Day), but this place was great!

    (5)
  • Brent T.

Pizza is merely adequate. Very similar to a DiGiorno's frozen pizza in crust and sauce quality. Don't expect more and you will be happy. I guess Keystone has trouble finding local employees as the town is full of foreign college age workers. They worked hard but are sometimes hard to understand. They promote a Russian beer that is pricey. For a little less I recommend the Moose Drool, which is a tasty Porter-type beer.

We visited this place on 17 June 14 at 1045. They did not have stuff on the menu available and the staff was rude. Would not recommend this place and will never come here again

Great food ! Awesome comfort food! Service could be better though

  • Jerry S.

We stopped in while on vacation in the area. Our pizza order was not prepared to our request but did not want to wait for it to be redone. Also toppings and cheese are only in the center of the pizza so you end up eating a lot of plain crust or wasting it which we did because the crust was just average. The middle of the pizza was good and the service was okay. But we did not go back in the 4 days we were in the area. Wouldn't recommend it but if you really want thick crust pizza with lots of crust give it a try.

After all the praiseworthy yelps on here, I finally decided to give this place a whirl. Firstly, I was a bit dubious because 1. it's in Keystone, a tourist trap 2. It's in a motel. However, it's a gem. Their pizzas are a bit spendy, and they don't have a personal extra small pizza, nor individual slabs of pizza. But that's OK. Let me describe their pizza in detail. It's a slightly thicker crust (not heavy), but very light with a buttery bottom. The sauce tastes homemade and slightly chunky and sweet. Their signature pizza is a pizza divided up into quadrants with no substitutions. You get pepperoni on one quarter, your choice of meat on another then take your pick for the other two. We wanted a designer pizza, so we chose the "Cheeseburger Special." It had a combo of cheeses on it with no filler cheese, dill pickles, big chunks of onions, tomatoes, big chunks of fried bacon (not crummy commerical precooked bacon, but GOOD bacon) and cooked hamburger. We got a medium and I had two pieces while my friend ate four or five pieces, it was that good. One thing I really liked about this pizzeria, is that for ONCE I didn't have to ask for extra cheese. The Cheeseburger Pizza has plenty of cheese for cheeselovers. A lovely surprise was their offerings of Russian beer. Simply divine. I nominate this place the best pizza and beer in South Dakota. Spendy. With two root beers, one Russian beer, and the medium Cheeseburger, it was around $30'ish. I had Baltika Extra Lager number 9, an almost champagne style of beer. But I tell you, it was worth it.

  • Bradley C.

We were desperate, so I think it tasted better than it was. But I will say that the pizza is not worth the price. It is good pizza (not excellent, but a solid good) but the price is high. One pizza on the menu is $55! And we are not talking any special ingredients here. Decent pizza, terrible prices.

    (3)
  • Chris H.

Good pizza, glad I saw the reviews on this in yelp! Awkward way of ordering, you buy your beverage ie 2 litter of pop instead of glass and refills. Parking sucks but worth the pizza.

    (4)
  • Rachel S.

This is a no brainier. Fresh, plenty of toppings, reasonable price for quality, ready quickly, hot when we ate it, delicious crust. We got the quad and ate it all. We had Henry Weinhard's Root Beer to wash it down which is the best root beer bar none.

    (5)
  • Cassandra R.

We were tired and hungry after flying in to Rapid City, so after we checked in at our hotel, we wanted some decent food. The pizza is good (not the best I've ever had, but this isn't NYC). My boyfriend thought the server was rude because she joked about how he didn't want any alcohol and how she questioned my ID (I'm 15 1/2 years old in my drivers license picture, which was taken more than 10 years ago!). But I thought she was just being friendly in her own way. I'd recommend this place.

  • Bugs C.

Ordered the Buffalo Stampede pizza, which was AWESOME! I also tried one of the Russian beers. I have had lots of pizza from many places, but this one rocks! Don't hesitate - go eat there! Very friendly staff, too.

    (4)
  • Jonathan C.

This place is good. I'll give it 3.5 stars. I had the Tunaka (sp?) pizza with buffalo and onions (I ordered mine without green pepper). If you get take-out, make sure to ask for knives and forks! Also, I tried the Baltika beer...I think I had the extra lager. It weighs in at 8% alcohol but it didn't taste that way. Great beer. It's a little pricey, but you're in a tourist town. Deal with it!

    (3)
  • Annie C.

Really, the pizza is only 3 stars but I bumped them up because they were one of a few restaurants that were up during off season. Staff was friendly, you really get a small town vibe in there. The pizza came out fairly quickly even though they were packed. They were serving pizza only at the time, we got pepperoni and big kahuna. Definitely not the best pizza I've ever had. But not bad for a small tourist town.

On a three week road trip with the family; hubby, four kids, grandma and the family dog. This was day three in South Dakota, had passed through Keystone the day before on the way back from Rushmore. Decided on the pizza joint based on reviews from other yelpers and overall satisfaction pizza generally proves on the family. We were not disappointed by the food, the crust was A-MA-ZING! Ordered two pizzas a 16" and a 12" (I believe, we didn't order the biggest one I know that) and there was nothing left for later. Also had two salads, they weren't bad the dressing was delish! Loved the 2 liter option on the soda, works well for a large family. The service was friendly as well. The family talked about this pizza the rest of the trip, and every pizza slice we have had since has been compared to this.

The pizza, the Russian beer (#9 is tasty) really hit the spot with my family! Great choice--hit it a few times during vacation..

Good buffalo pizza, my husband and i finished the 14 inch, cost $25. Good Russian beer too. Very friendly owners, showed us The Crazy Horse DVD while we were eating, as we were the last customers of the day.

  • Darla D.

Very good pizza-thicker crust with good sauce. We ordered a 16 inch for 4 (2 teenage boys) and didn't quite finish it! Decent price for a tourist town. Service was friendly.

I came across this place while vacationing last year. It was across the street from my hotel. I wasn't in the mood for pizza but it looked way too homely for me to pass by so I went in for a bite. The pizza was great and they were incredibly friendly. I don't know if I'll ever be up in Keystone again, but if I am, I will definitely make my way to this place.

    (5)
  • Mary D.

Excellent pizza, crust is great! I usually don't eat the crust, but this one is very good so I eat the whole thing! Thick but not too thick, worthy of the gourmet description. Russian beer is an excellent choice with this pizza,

Finally! Somewhere great to eat in the Black Hills area! Great pizza, great personal service! (these people LOVE their jobs!!) Quick delivery too.....we didn't have to sit at our table forever waiting to eat. Parking was sketchy until we learned we could park in the parking lot just on the other side of the creek from them.

We came for dinner while on a road trip. This place was walking distance to our hotel and I'm so glad we stopped in because their pizza is truly fantastic. The Baltika Russian Beer #9 was extra yummy and the staff was super super friendly! Try the Hawaiian pizza, it was awesome!

Being from New York I am fairly critical of my pizza. No way did I think this little pizza shop inside a motel in a town with a population of 308 could be any good, but I was suprised when I took my first bite. It was very good and the staff are all so nice. Don't forget to take a lolipop before you go!

  • Laura G.

YUM! I am usually a fan of thinner crust but the hand tossed was delicious. Made a few subsitutions on one of the standards and it turned out perfect. They have very fresh toppings, lots of sauce and the garlic/parmesean crust is an all-consume.

    (4)
  • Jessica W.

SO. YUMMY. Seriously. Perfect crust, generous toppings, fairly priced. What more can you ask for?! This place beats some of my favorite joints in our hometown.

  • Whitney P.

Great Pizza! The crust was delicious, I normally like thin crust but this was perfect. The sauce was amazing and all of the ingredients were fresh and stood out. The basic pepperoni was my favorite, all the delicious flavors stood out especially the garlic. Next to the pizza I had in Italy this may be the best!

Superb pizza with a view. Get the 4 combo pie, a four pack of the Baltika #9 and goto the upper level patio. Pizza is superb with a flaky almost pastry like crust, the variety of the slices keeps every member of the family happy, and the beer is truly an unexpected pleasure if you like craft beers. Follow up or precede this meal with a visit to Mt Rushmore to complete a very enjoyable day. Will certainly come back both for the food and the beer variety. I am from FL and a member of the World of Beer 100 club, and was pleased to be able to try new beverages here. Staff is super friendly and genuinely want you to have a good time. A must repeat!

I would rate it as a 3.75 if I could but 4 it is. The owner is very personable and talkative. The beer was cold (Moose Drool) and the pizza was tasty. There was no skimping on the toppings though the bottom of the pizza was a touch soggy. The pizza was better than average. We would go again if in town.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place! Pizza was great tasting! Don't let the location scare you off as it looks a little low-end. The pizza was high quality and fresh (which is not the best if you are in a hurry because they cook them from scratch after you order).

Great pizza and interesting Russian beer and owner-selected wine. You can take both food and alcohol to-go, and even buy fudge if you have a sweet tooth. I do. I don't recommend having fudge and soda for breakfast. Please learn from my mistakes. Loved the very friendly service and atmosphere.

One of the most friendliest staff I've ever come across. Service was super fast. Food was superb. The cost was a little spendy, but we are in a tourist area and we got a specialty pizza. The regular pizzas are a little more reasonable. They have imported Russian beers, so for a beer lover, it's a great place to check out. The owner was very friendly and visiting with everyone. We will probably be back with our families this trip.

Stopped on a whim... glad I did! My wife and I ordered the 16" quad and it was delicious! It was great that we had leftovers for the rest of our road trip. The staff were extra friendly. We couldn't ask for a better place. If we come through here again it will be a must to stop here again!

We stopped here late one night after the lighting of Mt Rushmore. The staff was very friendly and quick to serve us. We ordered a 16" Quad pizza for 4 people (2 girls and 2 guys) which was perfect and it tasted great too.

Stopped with the family and found this to be a great spot to stop. Accessible parking, quick seating, and speedy service. The pizza was especially good and reasonably priced, especially for a tourist town. I recommend the Quad. The All Meat is REALLY good!

I don't know if it was me or the place but I got really sick after eating an olive and mushroom pizza from here. My friends got pepperoni and didn't have the same problem. I really don't think it was a bug. The pizza tasted good though...before I got sick. It's a convenient place and the staff was friendly

Totally delicious as promised by other reviewers! We had The Quad and truly enjoyed it.

We enjoyed the pizza and the Russian beer. The pizza is rather expensive, but it's good. It was kind of an odd experience for a meal, though, in that the servers crossed the invisible line of being friendly and hospitable and became (without our prompting) overly chatty about their personal lives and problems. We like friendliness, but we were really just there to eat.

We got to Big Time Pizza expecting average pizza ( pizza hut, lil ceasars). We were blown away with the awesome pizza (homemade!!!) The wait is a little long but like their sign says... its worth it. You get there, order pizza, and get to grab any soda out of the freezer. Its awesome.

Took the yelp advice and was glad I did. Great pizza and easy to find. Had the quad and it satisfied 2 adults and 2 kids. The side salad for $4 a pop was the only disappointment. Fresh but only worth half as much. In a tourist trap chock full of low quality selections this place stands above.

OMG! We're visiting and so glad to find this place. Best pizza we have ever had!!!!! We are avid travelers but this is a 1st. The crust is perfect. I think even better then the pizza we had in Italy- unless we are hallucinating due to hunger - Russian beer #5, lite version was a nice addition.

Very good pizza. Great crust, judicious use of sauce and cheese. I'm a pizza snob and this was darn good. Fewer topping pies were best They have an interesting selection of baltic beers but I didn't partake. Service was friendly, pizzas were fast and very good.

Very good pizza--much better than you might expect from a touristy pizza place--and very friendly owners/staff. If I wasn't the only driver of two boys, I would have had a beer. Definitely recommend.

I loved this place! Where else can you get pizza and beer, then not only take the leftovers back to your hotel but a four pack of that new beer you just tried! The pizza was excellent, not the absolute best I have ever had but one of the best. The prices were right and did I mention the unique Russian beer that I tried, loved and purchased to go, which I still am enjoying on a special occasion? The waitress was great, helpful in finding me a place to purchase some skin ointment to take care of the sunburn I had obtained that day in case the beer didn't help the pain. She also said that business had been great since seeing online reviews for it were so positive. Clearly the pizza, beer and service is what getting customers, so keep it up yelpers!
