Definitely a must for the Kevin Costner fan! This small, but beautifully decorated casino, sports bar and fine dining establishment is worth a visit. Gamble a little and wonder upstairs to the sports bar to see Costner ' s movie costumes and set photos. I forgot how many films he has made over the years. Bar staff is friendly and helpful. Beers are cheap. We did not eat here but the food coming out looked good. The sports bar menu had a nice variety. Jake's is the dining room on the 3rd floor, bit was not open in the afternoon when we visited.

Poor service..you pay two dollars extra for lettuce and tomatoe on a already overpriced hamburger. $8.00 for a hot dog....50 cents each onion and tomatoes...75 cents for extra sourkraut...save your money...just walk through the restaurant and look at the memorabilia

If you're a movie buff or Kevin Costner fan or just need to waste some time, stop in to the Midnight Star casino. It's packed full of owner Kevin Costner memorabilia. I didn't eat or gamble here, so I can't attest to that, but it's a neat little place to see. I asked one of the women working there if she had met Costner yet, but she said he hadn't been around for several years. His parents live in Rapid City and visit often.

Neat place if you are a Costner fan, kind of like his personal Planet Hollywood as he has items from all of his movies in display cases over the 1st 3 floors of the place. The Midnight Star is the name of the bar in the movie SIlverado. Seems like he bought up the town and surrounding areas. Apparently he use to stop by regularly but not so much over the past few years. Looking past his memorabilia its a cool, old territorial bar & casino, representative of the 1800's Deadwood experience. On the 4th floor there is a very nice restaurant, Jakes (Costner's character in Silverado) did not eat there but peered in, appears to be a 4 star type dining experience $$$$..

A mecca for Kevin Costner fans! The walls are adorned with photos and collectibles from Kevin Costner's many films -- we sat right next to a display of his Navy white uniform from "No Way Out". Would be a 3-star restaurant without the Kevin Costner memorabilia -- it's really just a typical boring menu with burgers, wings, etc. -- but I will say the decor, the friendly staff and the Kevin Costner connection really made it for us. This is rural South Dakota after all, and I don't think you're going to do much better on the food front anywhere else.

This Kevin Costner themed place is clean, great decor, and awesome staff. Buffalo wings are good, coffee is tasty and tea was actually tea. I had the pastrami sandwhich which i was told has been a menu favorite and it was great! My husband has the pizza it was average and my friend had the buffalo burger which was great. Food is fresh, and decent portion sizes. BTW if you're not happy with your food do not walk it up to the server station yourself and give it back to the cooks. I saw this happen that day and couldn't get over how rude this lady was! Just a tip, don't piss off a cook ;)
