Great little place to eat in Aberdeen! The steak was as tender as advertised. The salad and soup bar is unlimited and comes with it. Not an expansive salad bar, but it was good nonetheless. Service was excellent and friendly. The nice finish was the 39 cent scoop of ice cream (banana split ice cream!) delicious.

OK so I'm a travel nurse. Spend 2 to 3 months in different cities around the US I depend on yelp for my dinner options and read the reviews. This place had not so great reviews but I reluctantly tried it. The food was good but the service has won me over! Friday night so the place was busy but the servers and other staff were all friendly and inviting! They all had genuine smiles, not the smile that said oh there's a customer I have to smile, but real genuine smiles. The whole time! I'll be a regular here the next few months. Not so much for the food I mean it was good but the service was A-1!

A great family restaurant. Good salad bar, excellent french dip, great fried shrimp and a $0.39 ice cream special! I'm sure everything on the menu is good.

Well I have moved to Aberdeen for my nomadic work lifestyle and this was the first place I had some brunch at while still staying at the hotel down the street. It was very crowded on Sunday but I think most places are, I got a seat right away since I sat at the stool by the cash register. My food order seemed to got forgotten about and I was waiting there about an extra 20 mins than another woman that ordered at the same time as me. The food was alright, part of my meal had biscuits and gravy, the biscuits were kind of raw. I went back two other times and both times the food was alright, but it was cheap and the service was pretty good so I would go back again if I wasnt in the mood for anything in particular and didnt want to spend more than 10 bucks for my meal.

This place was mentioned when I did my usual task of asking the 'townees' where a good place to eat is. Before they answered, I gave them my input on how previous customers mention restaurants that you could find in California; ie. Outback. They told me that the food and service is family-like. So, I agreed and drove down 6th Avenue. There's plenty of parking...mainly park anyway possible. No parking lot lines. lol. From what it seemed, the manager was acting as the host, so he was moving all over the place. Throughout my whole stay there, there was verbal conflict between the servers. Not that I was eavesdropping, but it's just what I noticed and heard. Maybe it was just the area that I was sitting. Let's move on...shall we. I ordered the Davey Jones w/ House Salad (Bleu Cheese) This sandwich consists of a fish filet, slice of American cheese, and tartar sauce on the side. Let's say I wasn't pleased. First off, I didn't want the tartar sauce in the sandwich, so the taste of the sandwich wasn't very pleasing. The cheese was plain and the bun was 1/4 size of the filet...ok, maybe 1/2 the size. Displeasing. The salad was ok, so I'll leave salad with the bunny eaters. You're probably wondering why they deserve a star. STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE yummm. It was fresh, clumpy, and oh so delicious. Another star killer was the fact that my whole meal received no mentioning of how my food was, did I need anything...it was like I was put in the corner for a reason...but wait, the server treated everyone the same. Good bye 3-stars, hello 2-stars. Referral, if you're a visitor, don't do it. Try the Chinese Buffet.
