Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Excellent food. Very friendly staff. We have many family and friends who come to visit. This is always their first choice for going out to eat. Our kids drive 45 minutes- an hour just to eat here.

The complimentary chips and salsa are a but disappointing. Chips are room temperature with no salt or seasoning. The salsa has been blended to oblivion. It does however have decent flavor to it. The menu is entirely too large (TEN PAGES). It would likely take you thirty minutes to read the menu if you timed yourself. I order the # 25 combination (yes I too could not believe how many "combinations" they put on their menu). Combination 25: Unseasoned rice that tastes like it's instant rice (very dry and clumped together). Instant beans with a slight bit of added hot sauce and over salted and the burrito and enchilada I could tell no difference between aside from size because all either had was poorly seasoned beef. The red topping sauce came from a can (very reminiscent of Chef Boyardee). Sent the whole mess back. Ordered three hard shell tacos. Cheese was not fresh and came from a bag which was clumped together over the tacos and accompanied with the same beef. At least the lettuce was fresh. The staff was nice and my waiter was alright but nothing can make up for poor food. One star. Sorry Bronco, you have great employees but you just have to learn how to cook fresh. That's what customers want in any restaurant! Update: Before leaving they tried to charge me for the more expensive combination which I couldn't even eat it was so bad. I am also currently home from work sick to my stomach the next day. I am sure many people who have went here left a great review but aren't familiar with many restaurants and it's a city where you could likely count them on your fingers. I'll never go there again. (Originally gave two stars but after this I had to knock them down a star)

Been here a few times now. Excellent food, great menu. VERY authentic, fresh food. When seated, you are brought 3-4 different homemade salsas, freshly made crispy, hot chips... the green tomatillo/avocado salsa is the bomb! Excellent burritos, guacamole, beans, rice. A really great find in this area, very friendly employees. Excellent fresh food, nice clean place, friendly attentive staff, and great prices... That's five stars from me!

Been coming here with family and friends since 2005 during the flying event we attend every year at triple tree and we love the food! Best food in woodruff.

Good good good. Fresh salsas, clean facilities, generous portions, friendly and competent waitstaff. Oh yeah, and delicious food at a good price.

They're constantly adding new things to their menu. They have a pineapple with pork dish that is just out of this world. It's more than you can eat but it's wonderful you wouldn't believe such good Mexican food would be in such a tiny town. The place is packed on the weekends. The man who owns the restaurant lives in Woodruff and is been here for years. Try it you'll love it.

The food was pretty good, service was just slow. Paying the check took a good 15 minutes and the line to pay was between the kitchen and the tables so servers were trying to get past the large queue every few seconds. Other than that I had a good experience here and would come back.

Look - there aren't many places to eat around this place - but don't let that derail you from stopping here. Amazing food, great price and service and the place was clean.

We are on our way to the beach and I had a hankering for Mexican food. Thanks to the yelp app and the review of a another yelper, we ended up here. It was about 10 mins off the interstate (closer to 15 with the detour) and it hit the spot. You have the option to choose hot or mild salsa (both tasty) and the pineapple bomber was delicious. It was only $4.75 for a "small" which was closer in size to a large and half the price of a mixed drink back home. My husband got the burrito macho without meat and it was one of the better vegetarian burritos we have tried at any Mexican restaurant. It was covered in an array of fajita vegetables, red sauce, and queso. I am only giving this place 4 stars because I ordered the combination 7 (chile relleno, cheese enchilada, beans, and rice) and it was your average run-of-the-mill Mexican food.

I live in Texas... how can my favorite Mexican restaurant be in tiny Woodruff South Carolina? I don't know honestly, but it is! This place is so good. Whenever I visit my mother we have to stop here at least once or more on my trip. I get the vegetarian fajitas which are filled with perfectly spiced veggies, even some unexpected ones like carrots and cauliflower. They have a whole vegetarian section on their menu which is really nice, and of course there are plenty of dishes for the carnivorous. The fried ice cream though, oooooh my, is up there on my favorite desserts ever list. It doesn't look all that impressive, but it is just yummy, and hands down the best one I've had anywhere. The staff is always super friendly too. This place is always packed, and for good reason.
