Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

We love our local Italian Bistro. The waitresses take good care of us, our food is always fresh, and they have the best cannoli's I have ever had. It's our "go to" place for a quick dinner out.

They have the best pizza in the area!! Sometimes their meatballs are not cooked through!! They need to make meatballs from scratch! But the food is awesome and customer service is awesome!

Hi We really like this restaurant. But, I've notice when it's busy & your picking up the service isn't as good. I was gone to add something to my sandwich but could tell I should not. I also asked for vig. Dressing that they use. When I got home it was mayo on it. It was good but when your asking a particular item-that's what you should get (especially when your on a diet). Over all the restaurant is good but not good to go on a busy day if your getting take out.

Had the Manicotti, it was the best I've had in 40 years. Generous portion and very tasty. The Service was very good and friendly despite the restaurant being very full. For us it is definitely a place to go back to for good, fairly priced Italian food.

We normally eat Italian Bistro at least once or twice every 2 weeks. The food is AMAZING every time, however that's where it stops. Twice now they delivered the wrong orders and failed to make it right. My wife had ordered a Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak w/ Jalapeños & Onions however her cheesesteak had no buffalo sauce. My daughter had the kids calzone with pepperoni but there was no pepperoni found anywhere. When we called the guy that's usually there with a heavier accent wouldn't let me do much talking, asked what was wrong on the order, asked for my name and said I'll get credit next time, added an ok, and then a bye and hung up. Fantastic, my wife will just be sitting here eating a dry BUFFALO Chicken Cheesesteak while my daughter enjoys this mountain of cheese without any pepperoni. As good as the food is when right, we'll have to think long and hard if we'll enjoy it again.

Phillies were good ... pizza tasted good but my only complaint would be that I am not a fan of canned mushrooms. Staff was friendly and welcomed me and the wife as we entered. Overall not a bad spot for lunch.

The only reason why I ordered from them is because Bucks closed. I just ordered a medium pepperoni pizza for delivery, and ALL the cheese was on one corner. The box was saturated in a hearty layer of a type of grease that would've made WD-40 jealous. Once I opened the box, i was astonished by how i can see my own reflection in that infamous impenetrable layer of grease that "Italian" Bistro is famous for. Never again will I let any of my neighbors, family or I ever eat there again.

Very good Italian food for a small neighborhood place. We live nearby and stop in about once a month. The only slight complaint is that the marinara/pizza sauce is a bit weak and could be a little more rich. The eggplant parmigiana is my favorite. It is the best since grandmas. Everyone is very friendly as well.

Italian Bistro is a great place but it also has its flaws. The food was absolutely delicious but the service that I had was not too good. The waitresses there were slow and a waitresses offered my friend a refill on her coke and she said yes and then return 20 minutes not saying anything about the coke or bringing a coke.
(4)Tighe K.
Pretty good. It's close to my house and they're quick. I'm not crazy about their pizza sauce. Stromboli's are good, especially the Roni Nation Stromboli. Be careful ordering, they're pretty unforgiving of mistakes even if it's their fault. Once you order, it's yours! So make sure the read the order back to you if phoning it in.
(3)Joe S.
If nothing else, go there for their garlic knots, they truly are the best garlic knots in the area.
(4)Brett G.
The food is wonderful, just a bit disappointed with the handling of our leftovers. The waitress placed her unwashed thumb in our leftover pizza slices and used her fingers to move some of the pizza toppings into the box.

I don't know what happened to this place. It used to be good. But it seems that after they were spruced up and put on tv, they feel they're beyond both good food and telling the truth. I went in yesterday and ordered two slices to go of what appeared to be very good "everything" pizza. The older guy from the show placed them in the oven, I went to the restroom, came right back out, and he was boxing the slices up. I said, "Wow, that was fast!" He said nothing. He rang me up, and I noted the total, which was $7.06. I used my DEBIT card to pay, so he handed me the slip of paper to sign, and it said $7.56.... not $7.06. I questioned the fifty cent difference, and shaking his head, he acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. Then he said, "Oh, you paid with a credit card, there's a charge." I told him, "No, it's a debit card, not a credit card. It says debit card right on the front of the card." Then he says, "Well, these things, I don't know. I just work here." He owns the place. I told him it was wrong and he knew it, but he shrugged. I took the box and left. I got to the car, and my husband and I each took our slice of pizza. It was stone cold, and doughy. I mean straight up NASTY. I was SO disappointed with the entire episode from start to finish. I will not be back.
(1)Hugo B.
Lowered the rating due to $15 minimum and $2 delivery charge now required, even just down the street, guess restaurant impossible couldn't help. Tossed menu in trash.
(2)Gil S.
I love this place. Very thing on the menu rocks. I have eaten here for years. My only complaint is extremely poor service. I mean horrible. The waitress manager is the worst of the lot.
(3)Lyssa W.
It was supprised for lunch. The food is amazing. The waitress are friendly. Environment is very warm. I am highly recommend when you are in Summerville, SC.
(5)RS S.
My new favorite pizza place. The meatlovers pizza I had deluvered last night was so delicious...I may order another today!
(5)Jackie O.
While the food is still great, it seems to have gotten a little on the greasier side. The garlic knots are so good, but our stomach can't always handle the grease.
(4)SM H.
Friendly staff, the personal pizza is great! Crispy crust & reasonably priced for a casual meal!!
(4)Pamala D.
We order from here a lot. The food is great but sometimes the pizza can be soggy. I would Suggest telling them to ensure your crust is exactly like you want it. That way your great pizza will be even better.
(4)Tony P.
Went there while dealing with a dinner crisis. The service was great, price very reasonable and everyone was happy with the order when I returned home. Saved the day! Had steak subs, pasta, and calzones.
(5)Ken M.
Great pizza, authentic Italian style and always great service.

In a Word: Horrible! This place is close to our house and had some pretty decent Yelp reviews so we thought we'd give it a try. We ordered the Hurricane and the Margarita pizza. We could smell something was off right away when we brought it inside - it just had a very strange smell to it. Unfortunately, It got even worse from there as we opened the boxes. The Margarita pizza was essentially a puddle of sauce with a spec of basil and mozzarella here and there. The flavor tested heavily of low quality garlic and tasted like any out of the jar sauce you can buy at the store. As bad as that sounds, the hurricane was even worse... There was not a single fresh vegetable to be found on the entire pizza. Come on guys, even Domino's doesn't use canned mushrooms. To really put the icing on the cake, the cheese was stringy and hadn't melted well at all during the baking. I'd like to say we just got them on an off night, but i really find that hard to believe. The total bill was around $35 for two pizzas so not only did it taste terrible but we paid a lot for it.
(1)Jared S.
This place used to blow me away with their pizza. Now it's hit and miss. They've limited what you can get by the slice and sometimes, you can tell it's been in the display cabinet a little too long. Fresh pizza to go is still awesome, and the the Philly chicken sandwich is great too. The wait staff is very friendly and do a great job.
(3)Cheryl K.
Very expensive food in a pizzeria setting. Prices are like that of a fine Italian restaurant. Pizza is ok but you can get much better elsewhere.
(2)Brian W.
Best pizza joint in town! Super friendly and Italian owned. I live right down the street and order take out on my way home from work often ... They always take care of me a frequently throw in a free order of garlic knots or a free 2 liter coke ... These guys "get it" those little things that really cost you about $1.50 keep me as a loyal customer. Everything there is solid ... The calzone is HUGE!
(4)Daniel B.
We had the chicken Parmesan sandwich, 10 inch New York pizza with meatballs, and tossed salad. The food was good but it took a long time to get the pizza and the chicken sandwich was served 10 minutes before the pizza. Tossed salad was huge but way too many black olives. There were so many olive the top of the salad was completely black. Service was also good and the prices were reasonable. I'd like to go back and try the onion rings.
(4)Deb C.
Yum - love the pizza, calzone, the bread is to die for. These guys come from Italy, and know how to do it right, as in delicious! I can't say I've been disappointed yet. And the servers are very, very good.
(5)Steve O.
Best pizza in the area, bit on the pricey side, but well worth it. Authentic Italian people here too.
(5)Roc H.
I usually have the New York Style pizza, best to call ahead and order, especially on weekends. Food, service is much better than average and is surprisingly very good.
