Food ok. Service needs serious improvement. Right across from my office so I frequent this place almost weekly for almost a year now. Never had an issue. Usually order the grilled chicken Cesar salad. However, the last 3 times there have been serious service issues. About 2 months ago I waited 15 minutes before being asked for my order then it took nearly 30 minutes to get my order (some issue cooking the chicken) and it was incomplete with no bread stick (my fav part). The server kept saying she was going to bring it but never did. Took a break due to the service issue The next time about a month later ordered via phone to go because I was so limited on time. They said 20 minutes, so I waited 20 minutes before going over. Then I waited another 15 minutes to get my order. Once I flagged down a server I was told (again) there is an issue with cooking the chicken. How hard is it to grill some chicken? My bill was where waiting for me and I didn't have to wait to pay it, so obviously they had my order. Fast forward to today. I arrived just after 1pm and was seated outside. Servers have come and gone without stopping by for my drink or food order. At 115 I decided to go in and find someone myself. The server issues no apology for the wait and just took my order as she was programmed to do. I guess I need to find another salad place near my office because this one has struck out.

We eat here about once a month. Great lunch special. 2 slices with 2 toppings each for $6.95. The pizza usually comes out quickly and the places it conversation friendly. My buddy's and I usually talking junk and laughing but so are all the other tables. They have big slices of pizzas and the home made chips are pretty good too.

The service is very poor waited 10 minutes no server showed up for our drink order. We left and I don't think they noticed. Generally I have come to expect poor service in most of the places to eat in downtown Spartanburg, but tonight was over the top.

Been here a few times for lunch. Haven't been disappointed. Can't say for evening hours. I've enjoyed the pizzas and appetizers I've tried so far. Don't be afraid to try!

I've eaten lunch here a few time. Their pizza is inconsistent. Multiple times their pizza has been doughy (under cooked). I've had to send it back a few times. I was disappointed when the removed their meatball sub from the lunch combo section. The atmosphere is fine enough. This could be a 3 star lunch destination if they tightened up a bit.

Its mid-day and this place is buzzing with energy. Industrial feel with great background music inside. Outside the patio overlooking the square is packed too. FREE WIFI ..password is pizza...so come stay a while or have a meeting. Tvs placed throughout. WWII Flying Ace theme. Ample portions of food prepared petfectly and served with a smile! Good selection of beers organized nicely. Back room allows bigger parties and upper deck is a fun place to gather for a more private feel its split into two spaces...one for large parties of 6 or more and other side is a top shelf lounge... (21 amd over only) David my server is super friendly! ...tip him well. Alot of businesses frequent this centrally located pub / eatery. Pay attention to half off specials and allow extra time for the waitstaff to check you out. All kegs in walk in cooler at all times...nice set up. Reservations are accepted except Fri thru Sun.

Ordered some wings for a work function. Went to pick them up at time they said it would be ready they never even had the order cooked. Suppose to have 48 wings only recieved 30. I ordered the sauces on the side they were ice cold and the chicken had been so over cooked there was nothing left of them. Called back to let them know and they could of cared less. The service and food have declined greatly at the Spartanburg establishment. I really hope management and staff can get their act together.

We had meat lovers pizza. The pizza tasted OK, but diced ham on a pizza is a bit strange. The server did a good job, but the place has a somewhat sketchy atmosphere. Definitely not intimate.

Great pizza! Great calzones! I've had pizza in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Chicago and Wild Ace beats them all! Lots of food for the price. Enjoy the atmosphere as well.

Pizza by the slice really good. P-51 down in flames, good if they remember to put the sauce on it. Every time I've been the service was extremely slow and could hardly get anything right. Lots of potential, but has a long way to go.

I wrote a very unfavorable review several weeks ago. We gave then another chance yesterday (Saturday) @ lunch. Wait service was good. Kitchen was TERRIBLE! Food delivery was extremely long. Pizza was good; but, P51 sandwich was soggy and lacking meat. This was their last chance. If reviews improve, I MAY give them another try sometime next Spring -- but not before.

It doesn't matter how hard Spartanburg tries to make the downtown experience better, with places like this I can only understand why people choose to drive to Greenville. A buddy and I decided to grab a couple of cold beers Saturday afterrnoon before settling down to watch the Clemson/UGA game. My friend insisted on trying out Wild Ace Pizza downtown. I will admit the atmosphere walking in gave a vibe of somewhere that I might like. Though as we all know, looks can be deceiving. We sat at the bar and we greeted by a female bartender who told us about a bucket special which we agreed to. The unfortunate part was that it took her forever to bring the bucket to us because she was too busy in conversation with a couple of guest at the other side of the bar. Apparently we came in near shift change because the female bartender moved around to the outside of the bar and was replaced by two gentleman. One of the guys started stocking his cooler for the night and cutting open boxes. He was right in front of us for a good 15 minutes and never said hi, asked how we were doing or offered us another drink etc.. Instead he looked like he had just clocked into Hell and could care less if he was there to make money or not. Even though he didn't have time to check on us he did have time to smoke his vape cigarette. The other bartender spent the whole time in steady conversation with the other two guest and the female bartender that was now sitting with them. The funny part is the gentleman who I would assume was the manager but cannot be exact due to his dirty towel thrown around his shoulder and his completely unprofessional untucked shirt, came within feet of us numerous times but never once stopped to ask how things were. At this point our bucket was empty and the writing was on the wall that this was not somewhere I wanted to spend another dollar in. Needless to say I had to wave at the bartender for him to stop talking long enough for him to acknowledge us. Mr "miserable" brought us our bill, which was incorrect but corrected after speaking with the AM bartender. We paid our bill and left. Moral of the story, I will not step foot back in this poorly managed establishment again.

Expensive for what you get. Waitress trying to strike up conversation with us by asking, "Do you know when Buck Cherry is playing around here again?" Sorry, but do I look like the kind of person that would know that? Very loud, couldn't hear the people I was with. Everyone looks at you like you shit on the rug when you walk in. Pizza made me feel sick and sluggish afterwards. Not a good way to go back to work.

The sandwiches were ok, the chips were cold and the service was slow. In fact we sat waiting on the checks for at least 15 minute. The wait on the food was unreasonable as well. To the owners and managers hurry up it is a sandwich not brain surgery.

I've only been there once for one reason and never plan to return! Even though the food was good and the prices were great- They have a racist WWII poster on the left wall just past the bar. When I asked the manager about the poster. She reported "we've had Asians in here before and they just laughed" additionally noting that no one else has been offended by it before. Does that make it okay?! No, quit being so ignorant Wild Aces!!! It's 2014- Stop insulting customers with your blatant racist support! Disgusting!

Daily specials ( like $2 pint night with BOGO wings on Wednesday night) make it a great place to get dinner and a few drinks for under $20 per couple. The pizza is ok, wings are great, and the sandwiches/pasta are awesome. They offer gluten free options as well for pizza and sandwiches. It's a pub, so it is bar food. For the price, you really can't go wrong.

What a disaster. After an hour, "the system said we were seated"...per the hostess. Then said they would seat us right away..but couldn't get bill to the people at the table they were going to seat us at. Typical, great place until they have multiple locations. Live downtown Spartanburg, want to support but won't be back.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
