Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

My brother and I came here after reading some of the reviews, and I'm glad that we did! I am not a huge Mexican food fan and I would usually rather eat anything than Mexican food. That being said, this was probably the best Mexican I've ever had and if someone asked me to go with them again tomorrow, I probably would! The food was extremely hot when it came out, which I like. It was all very fresh and delicious. The portions were huge for the price and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Definitely check this place out!

I'm fortunate to have this little gem near my neighborhood. The food is delicious and always served fresh and hot. The service is consistently friendly and attentive. The prices are affordable, especially the lunch combinations and dinner specials. The tortilla chips are always hot and fresh... not stale. The food is so flavorful! Cons: The women's bathroom is small and a little awkward with a stall being inside another 'open' stall. Also, there is no baby changing table in the restroom. Be sure to change the little ones before heading to Bronco's!

Last time we tried this place we had to refuse to pay for the food and leave. My food was stone cold and my husbands carnitas were dry and disgusting. The manager seemed like he had no idea what was going on. Apparently when the place is packed full of people celebrating a birthday, none of the other customers matter. I would rather go to the Inman location.

Best Mexican restaurant in spartanburg. I recommend the fajita quesadilla all the best parts of a fajita but it's covered in cheese. Also you can't beat the atmosphere every visit is enjoyable.

Foods good, some waiters don't know what their doing and the last time I came there was a bone in my friends food. They need to be more careful!

We love it the service is always excellent and the food always comes really quickly. I have never had bad service here and the waiter/waitress is always super friendly. I love the Speedy Gonzales during lunch it is really good and cheap. I highly recommend Bronco's to anyone who enjoys fast and delicious Mexican food. The lunch specials are excellent!!

Every one of these Mexican restaurants are the same. You go to one, you've been to them all. It's the same chips with the same mild or hot dip. Same combination plates, same beers, same everything. It's all Americanized Mexican food they probably order from a plant somewhere. It's not the worst food but it's not as good as real Mexican food. Tex-Mex places are usually better than these places but these places do have speed on their side. They can crap these meals out like there is no tomorrow. I've never had any issues out of the services in any of these. The people are nice and it's cheap.

I first started going to Bronco when visiting family in Spartanburg. After my first visit I was hooked and suffered cravings for the next few years. The only thing that got me through were the occasional visits to family to feed my Bronco fix! We finally moved here last year and I love it. The service is exceptional, the prices more than fair (especially if you order ala carte)....and despite what people may say--not all mexican food tastes the same. The food is awesome! We've never had a bad meal and have eaten there with 2-20 people. The only complaint is it's almost impossible to get in during peak hours if you don't like to wait. Not a problem for us, as we try to visit when they are just opening or during the week at odd hours. Ask about their tomatilla (sp?) salsa too. Good stuff. Great service, amazing food and good prices. What's not to love?

Consistently good food. Friendly staff. Good portions. You get mild and medium salsa almost seating. I enjoy the chicken nachos appetizer. Yum.

Best Mexican food anywhere. Been going almost every Friday for 3 years with my wife and mother for lunch. There grilled chicken is the best! Not all Broncos are the same though, make sure you go to the one on Union Street! The staff is super friendly and the service is fast, great for lunch!

I've been going here regularly for the past couple of years and always leave satisfied. The staff is friendly and excited and the food is pretty good. The beer, however, is what keeps me coming back. They serve it in frosted glasses and I swear they keep the kegs on ice in a refrigerator. The prices are also reasonable in comparison to other places in town. My fiancé and I can normally eat there for between $20 and $25 dollars, including tip and two 32 oz. beers. Definitely one of our favorites.
