The staff and food were 5 stars. I had lad naa and spring rolls while my husband had pad see iw and egg drop soup. We thought everything deserves 5 stars. I've eaten at a lot of thai places in a couple of different states now and this is the best lad naa I have had. I will be regularly coming here.

Ate lunch here midweek. The Spring roll was ok. The shrimp teriyaki was ok. A lot of rice with teriyaki sauce. Shrimp were good size. Had a mango ice tea which was good. Salad was iceberg lettuce. Ambiance was nice. Tables are not set up so had to ask for utensils.

I'm really picky when I eat Thai food - and this was super good! Clean, nicely decorated spot with an interesting menu. I stuck to my favorite Pad Thai figuring if they passed this test, then next time I'll try something else. They nailed it; excellent noodles and just the right amount of spice as I had requested. The lunch entrée also came with a bowl of soup and a spring roll; the soup was very good and the spring roll was acceptable. Best part was the waitress; she was very friendly and took her time explaining different menu items to my husband before he made his choice. She stopped back a couple of times to make sure everything was okay and if we needed anything else. We had also discussed sushi with her as they serve that also, so she went & made she we had a "to go" menu that we could read over. Bangkok 2 is definite keeper!

All in all I enjoy eating at this place but they just put too much rice when making sushi. All I taste is the rice?!? Otherwise, food is decent.

Mega cool establishment, hands down. Nicole rocks the cozy dim lit bar. Food is spicy sensational bliss. Come by and give em a try.

Great Tai food! Best in the area! Try the Green curry chicken! They also have sushi that's always fresh!

The Pad Thai was delicious and so was the Sunrise Sushi Roll. Unfortunately the menu says crabmeat and they use the cheap imitation crab. This is not usually an issue as long as the menu says so...there's doesn't. They have plenty of fun seating including an outdoor patio and even traditional seating on the floor. I would definitely come back.

By far, the best Thai in Spartanburg. Great customer service. Very flexible menu, very accommodating to special requests.

Surprised to find a fairly good Thai place in Spartanburg. Service was slow, so that knocked it down a little. However, portion sizes were very good. Enough to save for another meal. Got the pad thai and had them spice it up a little. Prices were a little higher than I expected but not unreasonable. A good choice all around.

Getting seated was a little confusing, I wasn't sure if I should wait to be seated or go to the counter. Just kind of wandered around the front area for 5 minuted or more until someone asked if we needed to be seated. I used to go here a lot, a year ago I would have given 5-stars. I went back for the first time in 12 months and ordered Fried Spring Rolls, and Yellow Curry (8/10 Spice), as well as a Mango Smash drink. The Fried Spring rolls were alright. I'll stick with un-fried next time, no big deal. The Yellow Curry was okay at best, not as good as before. Reason being there was almost no potato, and the few bits I did get were browned and overly mushy. Tasted very old and way overcooked as if they had been reheated at high temp many times. Very gross, like eating a blob of soggy burnt hash brown. The dish consisted mostly of a mix of raw and cooked onion and red pepper pieces. The spice level was good though. The mixed drink was very good. The server really soured the whole experience, she completely ignored us for most of the service and just seemed to be in a bad mood. She finally appeared about 10 minutes after we were well beyond done eating. When I asked for some containers and a check she came back and just kind of nonchalantly tossed the containers in front of me. All of the other times, awhile back, the server always politely and readily offer to help me pack up the leftovers, and would even ask if I'd like fresh rice to go. 12 months ago, I went all the time and the servers would always make the evening, energetic, helpful, generally just completely awesome. This last part was minimal to my star rating but I'd at least like to say it. I wish they would get rid of the plastic table cloths, they are really unpleasant. They have a sticky tacky feeling, not to mention they are really ugly and bring down the whole atmosphere. Miss the fountain by the way ;) I am very fond of the family that runs this restaurant. The server was not one of them. Hope to have a better experience and update my review.

This place was absolutely amazing. They also serve Japanese food which isn't mentioned in the name but they do and they have sushi that delicious. I ordered from the Japanese side of the menu and was not disappointed and our server was super sweet and helpful too. Great atmosphere great food will def be going back soon

I would first like to say we still give a five star rating. Do to the fact we love this place. We typically sit it the bar area due to the fact the Bartender gives us the best service. She attends to our every want and need. And we can't not forget Steve the owner takes great pride in running his facility. But our experience this time was not so good. The new Bartender seemed aggravated at the fact he was even there. We couldn't help but over hear him talking to his friends about how slow the bar was, and he just wanted to get out of there to start his Birthday weekend. This made us feel a little unappreciated. For now on when we feel like some Thai food. Which is the freshest in Spartan burg. We will simply ask for our favorite girl. Sit in the dinning room or grab Togo. Other than this one occasion ever thing has always been delightful. We love Steve and our favorite girl.

This place has the BEST Thai food in Spartanburg! The owner, Steven, is so nice! He has a great staff. And the food is ALWAYS good. I have been here at least 30+ times and I have NEVER been disappointed. Try it, you will love it. My recommendations: Go during lunch. They have AMAZING specials. Lunch includes soup and a spring roll and your dish. It is the best deal in town. Try their soup. My favorite is the wonton and the tom yum (chicken). The tom yum has a nice spice to it. When I want something mild so my son can eat a bite, I get the wonton. It is WAY better than the wonton soup you get at chinese restaurants! Get the basil chicken stir fry. I think I could eat this 3 times a week and never get sick of it! Try the Panang curry if you want something with a kick! The nam sod salad is really nice and light! I get this with a bowl of soup when I am trying to eat "healthy"

Went here once and it might be the only time. Atmosphere was good, they were very patient with the 4 kids under 6 that we brought, and everyone else enjoyed their meal. So I gave it 3 stars. Advise- just don't order the Japanese dishes there. I ordered the simple teriyaki beef (to help my grandmother feel more at ease with this place.) It wasn't good at all. It tasted ok, but it was still the tiniest bit frozen in the middle. Like it was frozen and they didn't quite cook it long enough. Very disappointed. My daughter ordered the pad thai. It was revolting tasting. Worst I've ever had. Never had a 2nd bite.

I had their cashew nut stir fry. It was rather bland. I asked for it to be level 5/10 spicy, but couldn't tell it had any spice at all. My coworker asked for level 8, and he also thought it wasn't spicy. Their Thai iced tea was good at least. For the price, definitely wasn't worth it.

Love their food and atmosphere! A little pricey but their food is worth the price! Waiters are awesome! Fun bar area for parties with couches separate from restaurant.

Why do I continually try and get Pho at places I know wont make it right/tasty? The broth reminded me of my younger days when I'd scarf down some Cup Noodles. Humorously they used fettuccine noodles instead of rice noodles. I'm offended that they think all their customers are that stupid. Now I know you may get away with a lot because you are in small town/hickville SC, but fettuccine in your Pho is a slap in the face. Pure and simple. I ordered the fresh spring rolls too which were way overpriced. More than what I pay for at my regular/real Vietnamese spots. They used lettuce instead of the noodles. So you cheapen the ingredients and charge more? Great tactic. But again it's my fault for expecting good Pho at a Thai place. But the noodles, that's the equivalent of putting ketchup in lasagna at an Italian restaurant. The place was clean and the servers great so I would go back to try something I think they'd be better at. Pleasant atmosphere to spend time with your other half and relax. Had to come back and add that I have stomach cramps. Maybe the funky smelling broth.

This is where we always go for a Thai food fix. May not be authentic but all of their curry dishes are great. And the Bangkok duck is rich and crispy. Their pineapple fried rice with chicken is good but I prefer the curry. And we always get the chicken satay. You can control how spicy you want your curry which is great for people that can't handle really spicy foods. They now have sushi which my husband said was decent. We always leave stuffed and with leftovers for lunch the next day. Curry reheats very well. Their sister restaurant in HIlcrest was here first but they pretty much taste about the same to me. This one has more room I think, especially with a room they can close off for private parties. The other restaurant in Hilcrest is a bit smaller but they both have very nice ambience.

Terrific Thai food and very nice ambience. They have a full bar (not open on Sundays due to SC law) and a large party room. Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants in the area.

This is our favorite Thai restaurant in the Spartanburg area. They have very fresh, expertly cooked food in a very nice, comfortable atmosphere and the price is extremely reasonable. Their lunch menu is very affordable ($5-$10) and the lunch portions are a little smaller than the dinner portions. They also have a kids menu with cheeseburger/ fries or pizza and that is a great thing if you have a 5 year old! The service here is always great. If you have been to their location at Converse in Spbg this place is entirely different. I can't get enough of this place... And their Pad Thai (my favorite).... Everything I or my husband has had from their menu has been very good.

Absolutely the BEST Thai food ANYWHERE! I have tried Thai food in many other (and larger) cities but Bangkok beats them all. Steve and his family (immigrants from Thailand) are personally involved in every detail at BOTH locations.
