Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I wish I experienced the pizza other reviewers have described. After packing up two kids for a fun dinner out, we arrived to a handwritten sign which read "TAKE OUT ONLY," so even though the place is full of tables we had to take our food to go. And when we got it home we found undercooked crust, cheese that wasn't fully melted, and a dearth of toppings. The owner sure looks old world Italian and the dough stretching and tossing was fun for my son to watch. But the result was subpar pizza and a bad experience.

There's a difference between "Old World" and nasty. I don't care HOW good their pizza is, I don't need B*tch with my pizza. Will never return.

We love their supreme pizza, nothing in the area compares. I have eaten at other local places that say they have New York style pizza only to find them having little cheese and almost no sauce. Two Guys pizza is not lacking for cheese or sauce. Also fantastic subs with amazing bread. Have been eating here for many years. This week they reopened for dine-in service again and are open for lunches Wed - Sat.

I have been going to two guys pizza ever since it was at the Greenville mall (for those of you that remember the Greenville mall) which is about 25 years. I love pizza and I could eat it everyday. Two Guys is THE best in Greenville!!!! Momma is a true Italian and the food shows it!

Probably the best pizza in Simpsonville. Cozy little dive. Owner is old world and if you like a southern belle personality she's not the one, bit she is very nice in her own little way. Definite must try in the upstate

Being from NJ, I'm a bit of a pizza snob. That being said, Two Guys made me feel like I was back home. It is the best pizza in the area by a wide margin. If you don't like their pizza, then you don't know what good pizza is!

We've been going into Two Guys for more than 15 years now, back when they were in the old Greenville Mall. Mama makes sure that the food is always fresh, excellent quality, and absolutely authentic Italian food. Dominic is probably one of the best pizza guys in the business, and he could go up against any of the NY pizza makers. This is a great family place, comfortable and friendly. Originally from NYC myself, this is the only place we get our pizza as well as some of our other favorites. Their cannolis are amazing.
