I didn't stay in any of the rooms, so I couldn't partake in any of those amenities. However! This is a gorgeous venue for a wedding. My husbands friend married inside the area with a beautiful staircase. The groomsmen and bridesmaids lined each side of the staircase, while the maid of honor and best man stood next to the bride and groom at the stop of the staircase with the officiant in the middle. There were chairs in rows at the bottom and at the banisters on both sides at the top where I was sitting there were chairs. Either way everyone had a good view of the lovely couple. It probably sat around 50 or 60 people. The reception took place I believe in the gazebo. It was beautiful with the hanging chandeliers. My only gripe is there were like 10-12 chairs at the tables. There should really only be 8 people sitting at a round table. Fortunately the grounds were so beautiful that people were sitting around the fountain outside and the chairs and tables around the gardens. The food was AWESOME! There were two stations with different food. I only tried one because after I had the shrimp and grits, there was no need for me to go to the other side. It came with a spring salad. Their ranch dressing was on point and so were the rolls that went along with it. They had servers taking up plates and glasses and serving cake. Towards the "dancing portion" of the evening they dimmed the lights and it was still really beautiful. I believe they had to use the house DJ??? If they did. He was all over the place with music. Temptations, soft rock, pop, Beyoncé, Sade, more soft rock. I don't know if this was at the request of the couple or if he was catering to the mixed crowd. It got a little better after dinner when he started playing more music that people could actually dance to. The bathroom was clean with good smelling soap and lotion. I mean all the little details were great. Even the lady who provided "What's happening next" after the ceremony... Where to go, how long stations would be open, etc. there was plenty of parking with barely any walking.... Which I needed considering how far along I am. If you're looking for a small to medium venue to hold a wedding or elegant affair, this is your place. Not sure how much it cost but I'm sure everyone walked away wowed by how everything was beautifully set up and put together. I believe when you use their place, you of course also get to stay there for the night for free.
