Met a friend here for dinner while passing thru upstate SC. My husband & I had the Friday night seafood buffet. Over all it was decent. A lot of fried foods...a few more grilled or baked dishes would have been nice. The baked tilapia was very good. There weren't a whole lot of side dishes to choose from....would have liked some Mac N cheese. The price of $11.50 per person included a drink, so decent price. Since I hadn't seen my BFF in a long time, we (the two of us, my husband & child...her 3 children & mother). We stayed beyond dinner & talked/visited. I could tell our server was maybe wanting us to get out, lol...but I explained to her why we were lingering, so she totally understood & was extremely nice & accommodating. She made sure none of us had an empty glass & immediately took away dirty plates. Everyone was nice & oh yea...the peach cobbler did not look good (was way too runny) however the taste was very good. I moved from SC 8 years ago & used to eat here often. I loved their fried squash...not sure why I didn't order some this time. :(

The buffet was a smaller version of your typical Golden Corral breakfast buffet. The biscuit was good, but not the best ever. The buffet contained eggs, bacon, sausage, all the usual suspects. You could definitely find a better breakfast for the same price. Servers were attentive sweet little old ladies. Always a plus in my book .

There are better places to eat for the same amount of money. The food doesn't live up to the name of the place. Maybe breakfast is better. We'll see.

Its more of a cross between a diner and fast food operation than a restaurant. Nothing wrong with that. I like the place. Everything I had there was solid. Even the turkey and gravy with stuffing was good. I'm usually not a fan of turkey. They have fried chicken liver on the menu. When's the last time you saw that at a restaurant?

I have run the gamut on this place. You want breakfast? The best biscuits in the Upstate, maybe all of South Carolina. Lunch? The buffet is fresh, fully stocked, and reasonably priced. Supper? The standard chili-cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and clubs are good, but CFF beats the world on the meat+3. The barbecue chicken and ribs are as flavorful as Henry's or Mutts, and the beef dishes have obscenely large chunks of meat. The veggies are full flavored and the only criticism I could come up with is the cornbread is sweet. Eat Here!

Good comfort food. Try the chili cheeseburger plate. The fried chicken is really good too.

Decided to eat a late lunch with a friend and what a terrible choice Carolina Not So Fine Foods was. The cashier was nice but she appeared to have trouble using the register. The server basically brings your food and refills your drinks. Our server was ok and offered to have the cook prepare a different menu item but I declined. I ordered a ribeye steak sandwich plate with half onion rings . My friend ordered a cheeseburger plate and a sweet tea to drink. My steak resembled sliced roast beef not a piece of ribeye steak. I order ribeye steak sandwiches frequently and I have never seen steak sliced such as this one. I would not eat it because it did not look appetizing and the fries were not fully cooked and greasy. My friend said his burger was passable but not great. We both wished we had driven to the Cheeseburger House on Augusta rd. I will never eat here again.
